Placeholder1 Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Hi Halstrom, I wanted to ask: In the section in which you list required assets for Pregnancy and Sexout Store you say one can delete the esp file for most mods listed, but is it ever necessary (besides for the bunny suit mod)? Some mods listed have "(Delete the esp file)" appended, and I'm not sure if in this case it's optional, recommended or required. For instance, can I use the esp for the Type3M Armor Add-on mod? Sorry for my lack of reading comprehension.
Halstrom Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 You can leave the esp of ou like it just meansd that you end up with 2 different bunnysuits that lok the same, one will interact with SCR but the other esp one won't. If you don't delete the FO3 ones they will crash NV.

So I installed sexout store because I reaaally wanted the T6M Barbie dress from the T6M CH raider armor mod(http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46121) thats a part of SCR's resources that I saw while installing this, but when I got to the store and bought it and put it on for some reason the garters, and part of the thong, and the strings from the corset back vanish in 3rd person when I move the camera above waist level, but when the camera is below the waist, they all show up fine. I'd like to solve this issue because I reaaally do like the clothing but I can't think what sort of issue could be causing that. Someone in the mod comments from nexus said they had the same problem, and someone told them "The mesh is looking for textures from the T6M lingerie i think. I installed the T6m body which includes them and all is good." But looking around all I could find was http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/45162/? and http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46463/ and I installed the non-body meshes and textures from both of those, but it didn't help. EDIT: Clearly this is that issue with multiple transparency the game haves. The thing is, only the dress is transparent, and I'm not underwater. I tried editing the transparency of the thong straps, corset ties and garters, but it changed the transparency of the whole mesh. This can't be an issue everybody has, or there would have been more complaints in the comments, so there must be a way to correct it, someone else fixed it.
RitualClarity Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 T6M is included with Sexout. You don't need another body installed unless you want to use a different body. If you have installed any female bodies I would advise you to try it without these added bodies. Might be causing problems. Make sure your archive invalidated is active and check to see if there was a patch for that texture. There are some patches on the Nexus for texture issues can't remember right now which ones had them. They would be on the same page as where you downloaded the resource files. These are just some quick fix /checks that can be done to be sure that the bases are covered. Then someone with more brains with this than I can help further if possible. I generally rarely get any issues with textures but perhaps I might check the Store out and see if I get the same thing.
Kaitol Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Yeah, I knew it came with T6M, so I left it alone, although I did reinstall T6M Just in case I somehow overwrote it and that was causing issues. Wasn't. The problem shows up in the GECK entry item view as well. High camera stuff pops out, low camera stuff pops back in. My search terms on the Nexus turned up no patches in particular for this armor either. Tomorrow I'll take another look in nifskope and see if they assigned any weird textures I don't have for whatever reason. Maybe I'll just have to live with it or find a different signature outfit. Its killing my OCD though. Involuntary eye twitches whenever I switch to 3rd person are annoying.

Don't know why it is acting up unless there might be something with the graphic card you are using and the setup of the textures.

I don't use ENB's and the barbie outfits look awesome in my game, glitch free. (I added them to some of the raider lists and Clover has her own unique one)

Taking a look at some of the textures, it uses some of the basegame and DLC textures, and he didn't pack those with it, so its pulling some textures from the folder and some from the .bsa or whatever the base game stores them in. Maybe I'll try extracting those specific files and seeing if it helps. (sorry for the double post but seeing as I had some new information I thought updating the thread would be valid.) edit: No dice. Hmmm. I'll look more closely at the bits that don't disappear and try to compare them to the bits that do. That's stretching my nifskope skill to the limit though. Edit2:AH HAH. All the stuff that vanishes has the transparency flag, all the stuff that doesn't, doesn't. If I can remove the transparency flag they'll look a little less lacy and cool, but shouldn't vanish. The question is, if this IS the double transparency problem, why didn't everybody including the author have it? Or did they just ignore a large portion of their armor flickering in and out of existence constantly? In the end though, I blame the Gamebryo engine most of all. Buggy piece of crap not handling layered transparencies! Now to figure how to safely remove the transparency from the garters and strings and straps without screwing it up for the dress...... EDIT3: The bloody idiot attached the same alpha to everything so I had to delete the thing and reassign one to the dress only. The garter looks a lot worse but I'll have to live with it I guess...
RitualClarity Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 It works just fine for me. I just tested it. Had an issue as I didn't realize it was with bondage girl instead of the other clothing girl. No flicker at all. I am not using ENB's or lighting mods so that might be the issue for you if you have any of those. Or there might be something r/t the grapic card processing. There are some fixes for the SCR files that was because of a black texture glitch and such. Not related to this model though. This is the reason you are having this issue and not others. Long shot if you haven't already done this. .. re-download the file again. After that. I can't help much more. Sorry.

Switching Transparency multisampling on didn't help, but for some bizarre reason turning on anti-aliasing fixed it. No clue why... Huh. Why did that fix it? I cannot fathom it. Although the garter still sort of.. dims and brightens as the camera moves. Barely noticeable unless you stare though. Also I went in and learned how to edit mesh transparencies before futzing with some simple graphics options. Doh. =_=

There are even tools that can convert the meshes to the body of your choice really well. Check around on this site and find it. I don't have the link here. Now you could match all the armors from SCR The T6M and The T3Berry and such.. So that garterbelts don't disappear into the skin on different bodies... That 'll give your OCD things to do..

Just incase anyone else gets this problem and finds this topic from a google search or whatever and doesn't know a thing about meshing, and can't or doesn't want to use anti-aliasing, I'm attaching my altered nif. Just stick it in your data/meshs/armor/Izumiko/Raider folder. SHRaider03.nif

Whenever I have that mod activated my game will start up only to not show a mouse and no main menu. The game won't react to ant input and the only way to quit is crtl+alt+delete. It is probably a rookie mistake but any help is appreciated. I would post my loadorder but I have no idea how to put it in a spoiler tag as to not spam this page, if it is really needed I will gladly post it though.
Halstrom Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Load order is needed, There should be a speech bubble with an exclamation point in it in the toolbar in your reply window for spoilers or you can type at the start then type it again at the end with a "/" before the word spoiler after the first square bracket. Are you using FOMM, if not do so, Prideslayers FOMM here http://www.loverslab.com/topic/17895-fomm-custom-build-014108/page-1 It will show you missing or load order issues in red. Otherwise running FNVEdit will show startup errors too.

I use LOOT for organising my loadorder but i doesn't drag over to this list it seems, it is fairly similair though. I hope this helps in my case. I want to add something to my former post: The program stops responding according to task manager but steam popups and sounds are still there as is the video except my mouse and the nmenu options themselves. I'm also assuming you are using the latest Stable version of SCR. I'm guessing there's no Sexout stuff in the merged patches? Never Merge any Sexout Stuff. Also how close are you to the 140 mod limit? FOMM counts them somewhere I think. I'd also group all the Sexout mods together near the bottom of the list, I also try grouping quest mods, companion mods, weapons & armor etc where possible, mainly for neatness sake then run a Load Order sort again. Oh, out of curiosity, what is the "HalstromsData-20131227.7z" used for? is that the tester patch?

Cool, I always worry when experienced people report showstopper issues in a new release Halstroms data is a bunch of non-lore Meshes for Symbiots and Retextures for MantisSuits, optional stuff I've patched together, so people not using that stuff don't have to install it. it's explained in the OP
