Sexout Common Resources (SCR)

Question here I'm hoping to get some help as I've googled and searched through 40+ pages of topics both here and on the sexout store page.

I'm missing a few textures, namely all the arena swimsuits. I have it installed, I have the esp unchecked and I buy it from the store and there's no body at all. Just hands and head. I know it installed correctly as I've installed other outfits (Ghost armor, Dragon Girl, Mantis) and they all work fine. Nothing for this though.

Also all of the gags sold by the BDSM vendor don't actually open any characters mouths. They go on the face just fine, but the lips are behind the ball/stick and closed. Is this intentional or did I not install ZaZ (Or whichever mod adds it) correctly?

Two more quick questions (please bear with me) is there an option to buy the pillory or bitch box from the store? If not, what are the easiest ways to see them in-game? (Console commands, a quest, etc)

Thank for the help and I apologize for so many questions. I'm relatively new to modding in general and just started out with Fallout NV a few days ago. THANKS AGAIN.

follow ritualclarity install guide here

that should fix your missing textures. I am not sure about the ball gags and lips.

Download his pdf if need be it helps out a lot.

There aren't any textures for the arena swimsuits if I remember right they are meshes only, the author coloured each meah individually instead of just changing textures. So you may be missing meshes not textures.

That's the way the gags are, nothing to stop you grabbing Blender and uploading a fix for them though.

No option to buy furniture that I know of I'm not sure that the furniture is even supposed to be in SCR as it's all in ZAZ too I believe.

I essentially did. I don't use the mod manager mentioned in the tutorial so I had to work around that. As I said, a lot of the other outfits installed the same way work fine. Like the dragongirl outfit. I just installed it via NMM and disabled the esp. Works fine. Same thing for Ixia, ghost, mantis etc. They all work and show up fine, but this one specifically won't show up.

First, thanks for the fast reply.

So is there anything I need to add to get the meshes? I noticed there's a mod on Nexus that adds it to the game world but it's just an esp (which needs to be disabled) and the only thing on the Fallout 3 page for the swimsuits are the file I have and something to make the girls tan (I think that's what it does?)

The link for the swimsuits at the bottem definetly has textures and meshes in it and installing from nmm may not work for all things it tends to put stuff in the wrong spot which would give you the missing meshes and textures. download fallout mod manager from the nexus site and use it for scr.

I'm gonna start learning FOMM tomorrow. For now though after several reinstalls I got it working. Not sure what exactly I was doing wrong, but at least those are working alright now. Thanks for all the help guys!

fomm is really easy to use. Glad to hear it working for you know. I have had nothing but problems in the past with nexus mod manager.

That update to scr I cannot wait to get my hands on it and make sure it all translated right into the main scr files. Well I am off to bed cya all tomorrow.

There were some issues / questions with the arena swimsuits and they were recently fixed with the tutorial. Check it again to be sure. I don't have a functional moded game to test myself. I can however tell you that the link is what was indicated in the discussion with the individual(s) that discovered the glitch. (Halstrom)  AS I understand it you don't need the optional files. Only the "T6m Competition Swimsuit v1_0 file.

T6M Competition Swimsuit NV by Shimaneko (Delete the esp(s)

  •  Download the T6M Competition Swimsuit file and extract it.
  • Open it up and you will see many files. Ignore all except for the Data folder. Open that.
  • Now drag the meshes and textures folder over to the SCR Resources folder ignoring the T6M Competition Swimsuit.esp. Do not use or move that to the SCR Resources folder unless you want to crash your game.
  • Click yes for overwrites, delete the extracted folder and move on to the next requirement.

The file itself shows many outfits that are to be used. It is more likely that the mod just unpacked incorrectly. You will likey find the mod located in a sub folder of your game. (Because you didn't create the "SCR Resources" folder ;)). There are many mods that are improperly packed to do what you just did and many before had problems with various ones because they just installed them. The PDF has both instructions on the mods, how to create the folder, and even how to check to be sure you have it correct.

In your case when finished ignore the last instructions for repacking for FOMM and just compress it into a NMM friendly format for installation then install it. I would put hat in the tutorial but FOMM is the supported manager for Sexout so i don't want to confuse or cause issues with newer members that might not understand modding like yourself and are able to work around most issues r/t manager use.

The above should give you access to the SCR item code to see if it is just the Store/SCR or your installation that is the issue. Keep in mind this list is old and Halstrom may have changed some or even all of those ##. Of course if you use the ## and they work it is either SCR or store you can report back to Halstrom what was done and he can get to the bottom of it. If it don't return any armors then check the folder to make sure it is in the correct path

Data/textures/armor/shimaneko/... files

Data/Meshes/armor/shimaneko/...files

Of course you know what to do if they are in the incorrect path.. :D.

In all seriousness. It would be to your benifit to create the SCR Resources folder regardless of which manager you use. It is a simple folder that you can compress into a manager friendly format. The reason for the encouragement is patches are made and distributed to those using those files. yes you can apply patches and such independently however many run into problems. ( even with experience). The folder can be reworked and reworked again and agian as changes occur. Most of the time just by dropping the files into the folder. If you follow the instructions and make copies and name them say v1, v2, etc you can never have a bad copy and can always return to a nice resource. This is a large project and shouldn't have to work and rework them each time you install/ reinstall the game/ mods etc. Also the records being managed by any manager is less making it easier to find the mods that you do need to managed and update ;). There is a reason that  people like the tutorial.. :D.

All patches for old vesions of the tutorial can be found in the second post on the main downloads thread for the tutorial.. ;).

Just added ChinasGeeks's Spreadsheet that details all the ID numbers of the SCR wearable outfits, I still need to update it at some point. If someone wanted to add more details like texture paths or Download file names /links then it would solve a lot of "where do I get that Mesh/Texture" issues.

Update 20140707.8:

Added more Bloody Ghostsuit variations and fixes to Ghostsuit textures

Remember to now use http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/41657/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D41657&pUp=1

attachicon.gifSexoutCommonResources-20140707.8.zip

This Patch is only for Darkson, it won't do anything for anyone else it will break your game, but don't let that stop you trying..

attachicon.gifGhostSuitPatch2.esp

Hum have you merged my last update file in that fixed the spectre cleans cause they still have the wrong textures on the ghost neck armor for the preg armors. it should be set to 0SexoutSspectreSuit31 for their textures. The ghost bloody bikini needs to have it hip feature set to AsexoutGhostBody2Bloodya for it texture after these changes the suits should be good to go.

Hmm I thought I did, but I had some mass confusion doing this one, I had a couple of screw ups applying it to the 2 SCR files, updating 2 SCR's is a nightmare, I kept accidentally overwriting my latest work with the older version. So it's possible I missed something, but if you edit this version of GhostArmor2a it should be an easy job as all the textures and outfits are now in there and in their Formlists, I'll start working on the 2 Pregnancy updates to match them to allow swapping as texture changes won't effect that.

trying using this file it's names a little different might make it easier to get installed.

This one has the correct neck textures and the one outer texture that is wrong fixed in it.

The ghost bikini should be corrected in it as well.

Ok give this patch a go and do any edits in it before I merge it into SCR, it uses all the SCR assets & textures rather then the patch ones otherwise I have to keep manually copying them over, that's probably where I've screwed up.

What is going to be done about "A Sexy Attire" since the link as went bad on the Nexus? Is it going to or can be posted here? Currently everybody has to go to a subpost to get that file. I am interested because I am thinking of correcting some links and general updates to the tutorial. While I am at it is there anything that needs to be addedto the tutorial r/t the current changes to Ghost Armors?

As far as I know the ghost nv one is not used for the armors not sure about the mask although they would look really weird with broken armors. I probably wouldn't update the tutorial tell the ghost armors I did make it on the main page. But it is hal scr mod so he has final say on what goes in the tutorial.

I got a feeling because some of your texture names have a's or 1's on the end you might not be getting the right one sometimes, it's all fixed in the file I uploaded, I removed the extra "old" non-SCR textures and outfirs from it. You might want to install FNVEdit and open it up the SpectrePatch.esp enabled and the differences should show in yellow in SpectrePatch.esp & SCR, that's ok though for the moment, because SpectrePatch being later in load order wins. What I do is then drag all the SpectrePatch yellows into SCR and that updates it. In the old file the white entries can't do that trick :)

FNVEdit is the next thing you need besides GECK, great for picking load order issues and seeing if mods are conflicting on assets, just never edit the Vanilla files or DLC.

Well unless someone starts an upload thread with it, I might have to add Sexy attire as a file in the SCR download, I don't want to take them out but if they don't have Pregnant variations perhaps we should.

I'm hoping people can install the other Ghostsuit if they really want the masks, but we ignore all the other meshes/textures in that version.

The most resent update to scr has textures with a 1 at the end for the spectre clean and bloody armors and the ghost bloody has an a. Unless I manged to download the wrong scr file. I am not using the beta one  so havent been testing those and not sure what the texture sets on those are.

Well let me know when you make a decision. Currently I placed a link in the second thread of the tutorial to the sub thread where it currently located. It would be great if someone here knows the author so that we can get permission to post an official download for these. With proper credit of course.
