Nope. Just grab some random "non-respawning" type NPC (meaning no bandits or necromancers or such) and yes, break them with both human and creatures and you will be fine.

Arrrg, I must be missing something that's probably right out in the open. I've just not seen yet what it is.

 

 

 

Started a brand new game and went directly to the Underground Main series (after initial intro stuffs). John sends me to HanPL, who gives me the Ardaline quest. Arddy breaks (I get the message that she is ready for Varon) and I turn her over. "Ardaline is yours", Quest Complete message pops up, Varon says "Yaay! Here I don't need this anymore since we are now wed" (but does NOT give me anything) and walks away, leaving Arddy standing there.

 

Reload game, tried Release Slave both before and after "Ardaline is yours" selection, and in both cases he simply walks away. I also tried doing nothing (keeping her slave status) with same result. In all instances, going back to Han gives no new slaver quest saying "Only skooma is available". John merely bitches about me being the new guy and should get my ass back to work.

 

Honestly, I have no clue exactly what I'm missing or how long I need to wait before Han gives the next quest. I am able to pick up all the side quests but I was attempting to focus on the main series for this run. Any suggestions?

As soon as you give ardaline to Varon and he says his two lines you can walk away and go talk to HanPL immediately and ask him for slave trader work (or was it assignment or job - I forget). There is no waiting at all. The next quest should fire which is the bride for an Ogre.

 

If it truly is not happening try grabbing the OP version and reinstalling it. I released a bugged version that I pulled almost immediately but 20 some people grabbed it before I could fix the link. Maybe you were one of the 20.

Hilarious (but enraging) thing about Ardaline; after all that work, he takes her... and then after that, when you see him around town, she's nowhhere to be seen with him. And I can't find her in the Mage Guild.

 

I think... he may have... killed her...

If you can't seem to get it to work then use this console command:

setstage xxLSTMQ02 20 (note the 0 is always a zero). That should complete the ardaline handover and set you up for moving on.

I can't tell you how many times I said something similar (usually involving 4 letter words...) as I translated/then cleaned this up. I honestly despaired at times of "ever" finishing.....

 

Yea, this is one of the longest and most in depth (quest wise) lovers mods out there. I can only imagine how long this took to make! Hats off to them! I barely survived translating it!

I'm stuck in the Wait in the chest quest. I've been in the shack and i found a key to a warehouse but i don't find any door for it how i should continue ?

The door is basically right next to the hatch to the Underground Warehouse from the quest Man Eater. There's a small passage you can walk through; turn right and you'll find the door.

There's the hatch from Man Eater, there are the stairs and the passage. Those stairs lead up to your house.

ALSO, what the Hell is up with Morag and Vulnerable Vampire? I got the quest, I talked to all the vampires but they didn't have anything for me to do. When I went and talked to the Torture Agent, the quest auto finished on its own, having been told I did a good job.

 

So um... WHAT THE FUCK?!

 

Progess of the Thieves seems to be broken; I talk to Methredhel, and when I ask her about the gold all I got was "....", and after I greased her palms a bit with gold, all I got was "Please believe me!" So I have nothing to go on at all. I also noticed that when I first got the quest, I had a quest marker, yet when I went to talk to Colin, as the quest told me to, said marker vanished. And it WASN'T pointing to Colin in the first place.

Yea, I don't know what the deal is with the Morag/Vamp quest either. I wonder if you (and I when I play tested it) completed something out of order that basically completed the quest already. I wonder if it may be tied to the two cannibals quest. I will take a look at it and see what I can find.

You'd think I would have assumed as much. You would be wrong, as I haven't had to do that for several quests now and I almost assumed sex slavery was no longer needed.

 

I of course am an idiot.

 

I'm also thinking maybe the spy quest could have something to do about it, since they seem rather annoyed and distressed that there was somebody they couldn't exactly locate. That's the one I do almost the moment I get into the Underground because it gives me the hood with the 80% chameleon enchantment of maximum lulz.

Damn you very well could be right on the money there. I totally forgot about the spy quest. LOL, I do that one very early myself.

A note about Progress of the Thieves; I finally got the gold and went back to John. When I got the option to give him back the gold, the dialogue object was listed as "Recovered Golds". I don't think that should be pluralized.

 

Also, I can't get In Case Of... to work properly; everything is fine up until I get the update that I should wait in the attic. So I go up there and I wait from 7:30 Pm until 11 PM and I get nothing at all. I used movetoqt to ensure that I'm in the right place. I've tried this multiple times. I used tcl to get a better look and nothing.

 

But I notice, when I wait, Tlass spawns in from a wall, then instantly exits the madam's room, with her nowhere to be seen. When I go down, she tells me to go to the attic because he'll be back any moment.

 

Is this because, when I enslaved and broke Simza, I told her to "relax here", rather than setting her free? Or is this just broken? If so, can I have the quest ID so I can reset it and see if I can get it to work again? I don't have a save from before all this because I saved over it, and I seriously DO NOT WANT to have to start a new save just for this one quest.

The quest "In case of ...." is working fine.

Simza must be in her bedroom, You must be above the bed (in the attic).

Maybe you were not allowed to enslave her. Try to free her. If it's not working:

 

setstage xxLSTMQ14 35 (quest update = "Tlass and Simza's night tryst has begun. I should grab the ring or talk to Smiza once Tlass leaves.")

setstage xxLSTMQ14 40 (quest update = "I have obtained Tlass's ring. I should take it to Colin.")

Yeah, see, I can't; whenever I talk to her, she tells me to go to the attic. And I had her "relax here" on the bottom flood, which is where she loiters. So I basically fucked myself.

 

Edit: Finished the quest with the console (thanks for that, by the way), I have learned a lesson today; always release slaves once you get what you need from them, unless the quest requires you to take them somewhere.

EDIT 3 JESUS CHRIST: Problem with Man on the Anvil quest; I enslaved Hasathil, trained her, brought her to HanPL to look for a buyer. He tells me there's no buyers for Wood Elves and I get a quest update telling me I need to go and tell Heinrich in Anvil that the training is complete. BUT, I have no option to do so when I talk to him.

 

I have Hasathil with me if that means anything.

Yea, always release slaves after you get what you need from them as it borks their scripting/ai packages. I probably need to put a note to that effect in the OP.

 

ROFL! Is that really something Lara says??????? If that really is in there, I so totally forgot adding that line. She is supposed to be really naive and most of the Japanese lines didn't translate worth a crap, so I had to "wing it". I must have been drinking while I did that line.....

 

Do not have Hasathil with you. Either park her somewhere or pack her up using the pack slave spell.
