Arty_DeSithlius Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Putting this here, because I was having this problem and found VERY scant... well, anything... that talked about others having this problem. Other than a comment on the NAF bridge post, and a reference to the line "you have no idea how disconcerting that is! please stop tampering with reality like that!" earlier in the comments of THIS post. For anyone who's having an issue where Ivy keeps getting irritated with you, for seemingly no reason, one of the things (if not THE only thing, I'm not entirely sure) that triggers that line, and others like it, is anything that attempts to set her scale lower than 0.95 (iirc, that's what Reginald said earlier in this thread.) NOW for what was causing MY problem. (for reference for anyone else who may be having this issue) SCOURGE has a scale randomizer. Sometimes it caused no issues... others, APPARENTLY, it was setting her scale lower, triggering the line and a relationship hit. on repeat. You can either disable scaling in SCOURGE (idk if she counts as human or synth, but tbh, I just did both anyway, since Synths are mass produced.) OR you can download a mod like RobCo - SCOURGE Excluded Companions, which excludes her (and other companions) from SCOURGE completely. I ended up doing both just to be safe, but either should work. When I loaded up my game, she was still irritated, so I had to use "setscale 1" on her one last time, but that fixed my issue. And, if this is what's causing it for you, should fix it for you as well. Happy Modding, and Happy Ivy! (If i said anything horribly inaccurate or that could break a game/save let me know and I'll edit the post. I just wanted to have documentation somewhere for how I fixed an issue I was having in case someone else ran across it.)
jmlparis Posted March 20 Posted March 20 (edited) I'm using that Loot Detector mod, and I can't find a proper setting to locate those sex books in the compass. Just in case you'd happen to know how these books could be classified in those many settings... Edited March 20 by jmlparis

Just in case you'd happen to know how these books could be classified in those many settings... I'm going to guess it's a matter of magazines having a certain keyword, but don't know that for a fact. I also use Loot Detector, and also have a few other mods that add magazines. Some of those other magazines show up as objectives when I get close, some don't. Assuming it is keywords, you'd have to determine the right keyword, and then manually add it to all the magazines in FO4Edit. 1

Just in case you'd happen to know how these books could be classified in those many settings... So just out of curiosity, I went and had a quick look in FO4Edit. Ivy's magazines all have the "Featured Item" keyword that I was thinking about. They do not have the "PerkMagKeyword" keyword. Just to compare, I went and looked at the cards in Ketaros Treasures that I also use. They have the "Featured Item" keyword but not the other. Yet they always show up with a marker when I get close to them. I also looked at Loot Detector, and a lot of it is based on formlists. So then the next question for you is, do you have "Nerd Vision" turned on in the MCM for Loot Detector? 1
jmlparis Posted March 21 Posted March 21 (edited) I do have the nerd vision turned on in life, no doubt, now I'm on my way to check if I have it on in MCM, play and wait untill I get close to one of those books, to test your idea. I'm not a tech wizard like you guys, all I know is Loot always showed me those books before I decided to make a smarter use of those so many, yet amazing, settings. I'm just trying to make my life more complicated, you see. Long story... But I don't wanna play F4 with Loot illuminating everything around me. It's always been pretty easy to set Loot in a smart yet efficient way... until I decided to take another trip with dearest Ivy and her thirst for books. + It seems I alawyas had Nerd vision on already. I wait until I come across one of those books... if I'm lucky enough to see it. Edited March 21 by jmlparis

I got the Bobblehead, and Ivy commented on that. I had the FH mod after this one, moved it below so I'll give that a shot. hi, what is the name of this mod for multiple followers?

JohnnyGunn Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Ivy in your mod works so good that when I use this mod, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/102734 she keeps saying that there's Raiders near by. LOL
assassin394 Posted May 2 Posted May 2 What the file called "CompanionIvy_SpaceVault14 do? Why there is no mention of it in the description?

jmlparis Posted May 18 Posted May 18 (edited) It seems there could be a situational conflict between this greatest mod and that Sexual Harassment mod here on LL. A fun conflict actually... A nice mod but with a lot of MCM options to manage. It seems it launched an "harassment" with one of the Stein's assistants right when I was speaking with Deborah at the end of "Stein Construct", making my PC unable to move before and even after the harassment was over. I'm still working on it as I write, by turning this mod off for a while. (That's my second but first full playthrough with Ivy and having a great time.) I'm also posting this report on Sexual Harassment mod's page. EDIT: In the end, I had to unabled the SH mod for a while, as turning it off in MCM wasn't enough. Edited May 19 by jmlparis
JohnnyGunn Posted May 20 Posted May 20 So I sent Ivy to a settlement and now cannot find her. What console command can I use to teleport her to me please? :)

Shouldn't use console with Ivy at all, `cept in rare cases when she smokes. It is just bad (both, tho I smoke myself like a steam loco)

Artemdrem Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Hello, I accidentally deleted Ivy using the disable command and lost her Id, how do I get her id again to give her the enable command?
IBAGadget Posted May 21 Posted May 21 6 hours ago, Artemdrem said: Hello, I accidentally deleted Ivy using the disable command and lost her Id, how do I get her id again to give her the enable command? load a save before you deleted her or start a new game 2

For example, fallout4.esm is 00. In the console “prid xx029720” You will select Ivy. "enable" Ivy will begin displaying. "moveto player" She will be right by your side. 1
jmlparis Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Ivy's got a cigarette sticked into her wrist... She smokes it sometimes then it goes back in her skin.

Stemin Posted May 22 Posted May 22 (edited) I've run through the Far Harbor content like 5 times now, but on _this_ particular playthrough I decided to do it straight out of the vault. I ran into zero issues and some slightly different outcomes on things. Everything was fine, but I never finished the main Ivy (Far Harbor) quest because I didn't finish the outcome of the DLC. I wanted to get into the BoS first and alert them to the Synths on the Island for this playthrough. I returned to Far Harbor who knows how many hours later, and now the doors to the bathrooms, as well as the game room in Will Murray's home say "Innaccessable" and I am unable to open them. EDIT: Oddly enough I solved this by simply ordering Ivy to open the doors. Edited May 22 by Stemin 2

My very thanks, especially as I found out a bit later that it's not an Ivy problem since it happened with Piper as well. While I'm here, I enjoyed Piper/Ivy dialogs, probably the best other companion to come along with her for the talking, and of course would love to see more of those. Thanks for all. 1
