cosworth Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Guys, just trying to find out what may causes the following error: Help defend Sanctuary pops up followed by best regards by Mr. Frost (game freezes). Has anybody else experienced this bug after installing the new update? It is the first time ever that I experience this bug. SS2 and all patches are unchecked, as well as workshop framework, ghoul mobs, ghoul hordes etc. ... Before I start again from anew, I would like to make sure it will not happen again in say 30 hours playtime. Later today I will play another char in another profile without the new update to see if this bug appears there too. Thx.
Hilshavetoes Posted January 10 Posted January 10 So i recently ran into an issue with this mod. Currently level 40+ but have had the mod installed since the beginning of my save. Never went and recruited her or anything. The mod has started to cause ILS every time i try to load my save. I know it the IVY mod because I disabled all my mods and then enabled them 1 by 1 until the problem came back and it only came back with the Main file for the Ivy mod. My game version is .1170 and the Ivy mod version is 6.1.7. It was working fine up until now. I still have the Mag addon and the Nuka world addons installed and my game doesn't ILS with those. Any help or insight is greatly appreciated

The main companionivy.esm is a master for the other two. 1

It's freely available to pick up out of the suitcase in the river between Sanctuary Hills and Abernathy Farm. I've always grabbed the voucher before ever going to visit her cellar. As for the missing dialogue, more clarification would be handy - does Ivy not interact with you at all? - Is there no subtitles? (turn on all subtitles in the Game Settings menu) - No dialogue options popping up on screen to select from (Y, X, B, A choices if using a controller) - do you have XDI installed (this can cause issues with Ivy's dialogue, causing some things to not be available) - do you use Full Dialogue Interface (has worked flawlessly with Ivy for years for me) The more information you provide about what is/isn't working, mod list/load order (is there a conflict you haven't looked at?), the more likely it is that someone will be able to tell you what is happening so that you can fix the problem 1

My current run with mods is finally working and after playing just 4h or so with Ivy gotta say I would not do another run without her. So many fun and dirty conversations and her reactions to locations and characters honestly left me a bit stunned. It must have taken so much work to get all of this working and you have my deepest respect. But I have ran into ne problem. I was very happy Ivy is so talkative especially in player home I have chosen. But for some reason conversation density dropped significantly. Something must have happened because her "ambient" dirty talk is not triggering anymore. I am left scratching my head with what did I fuck up this time. Maybe I have missed something obvious but the check through holotape does not give me any errors apart from warning about SimSettlements 2 which should work because my machine is powerful enough. So maybe I will try to make new run without it? I am just lazy to engage with the Settlement system but since I like Ivy so much ditching it would not be a problem. linked to the timescale in the game, as is her affinity. Check if the timescale is set correctly and try that out for a bit: SET TIMESCALE TO 20 (Enter in console, 20 is the default)

Probably has something to do with me uninstalling and installing mods that I was testing out. Since my run was only 3h so far I will just test it out by starting a new one and not installing anything new.

Did you install all the esp's, including companion_quest.esp? Sounds like a bad install to me. Also if you have 'player & headtracking comments' installed, it conflicts with Ivy.

I reverted my game to 1.10.163 to take advantage of the StoryWealth collection. When I tried to add in Ivy and her dependent mods, the game won't fully load. It starts to load then CTD's before I get the option to start a new game or continue. I checked my esp/esm total and it is well under 200. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ivy is designed (still is) on version 1.114 (which was released in november '18) and has esm/esp version .95. She works (confirmed) on all current versions including Old Gen, GOG, NG and Anniversary.

It is version 6.1. Has been for over 2 years. The filename has an extension of '7zip'. So it's 6.1(.7zip). Where the 7 is part of the filename. The latest release (Far Harbor) did not alter the base mod for Ivy in anyway, it functions fully as add-on.

Flirt with her 10 times in a row or more and she offers to have sex with you. 1

I can get the collection to load as long as she isn't in the list. I don't know if it is just a mod conflict or maybe because it is the Vortex mod manager. I always used to use MO2 until it started giving me issues shortly after the new year. Still working on trying to track it down. BTW, what is the load order for the plugins. I have quest, mags, nuka, coast. I assumed that the order they were created in in was the correct one. Edited February 13 by OddNooFoo Forgot a question.

Nuka Add-on -> that's right - the "Nuka World" DLC includes an add-on with Ivy... this is much more than a quest - it's essentially about Ivy's "redemption."
