Hi, I got a bug that "Ivy goes to Nuka World" quest never triggers, when I use "ShowQuestStages _Ivy_NukaWorldQuest" it shows as Stopped, any idea how to force the quest to start?

Make 2 manual saves.

Disable the CompanionIvy_Nuka.esp and load your game, ignore the warning.

Make another new manual save.

Exit fallout and enable CompanionIvy_Nuka.esp again.

Now walk with Ivy to a new area, she should start the quest (unless you altered global variables or quest stages in your earlier attempts to fix it).

 

This happens when her chat about Nukaworld is cut off, which most often happens because of combat, or the player initiating dialog just as the chat is supposed to kick off (which then cancels the chat so the quest can never properly start and the scripts can't properly start either).

That was the issue haha! Thanks a lot. I had a mod that altered the size of NPCs and this was the issue. Thanks again for taking the time to reply and for the amazing mod!

Thank you for responding. I'm not altered the quest stages of the _Ivy_NukaWorldQuest fortunately, but I did what you suggested and Ivy won't talk about Nuka World even when I'm near the transit, or in the Nuka World area

Hey, I've got an issue with XDI. I saw she doesn't need a patch anymore, so didn't install that, but I'm struggling with her Erotic Services menu. Everything in that just has the "Yeah" dialogue shown, so I can't see what they're meant to be, like which is flirt or ask her things under there. Is there anything I can do about that, or am I just stuck on guesswork?

Even though this has been tested hundreds of times, things might still pop up once released to a wider audience. Make a few manual saves of your current save game to keep it secure. If the worst happens and a patch needs to be released to fix something, you can always restart from there. Of course, I am assuming with the insane amount of tests I did, that all will be fine.

There seems to be animation files in the CompanionIvy_SpaceVault\Sound\Voice\companionIvy_Coast.esp\_NPC_IVY folder

Or it might be the tools I'm using for archival, but BAE, CAO and Archive2 all seem to place .hkx files in that particular folder.

 

If it isn't that way for you could you let me know so I can try to find where I'm going wrong?

Yes those are the custom animation files for her dialog.

Hey all,

 

Ivy is not commenting on any of the magazines that I pick up in the magazine addon (as she's done in previous installations). I've tried all the options in the holotape, even tried disabling/enabling the commentary option, and nothing has helped.  Anyone have any suggestions?

That is weird. Do yo have any other followers with you? Nothing changed in the magazine addon. If you installed the Far Harbor addon, make sure it's placed after all of Ivy's other plugins.

Using your multi-follower mod + dogmeat as friend, so right now it's Piper, Ivy (in slot 2), Dogmeat and Heather Casdin. I got the Bobblehead, and Ivy commented on that. I had the FH mod after this one, moved it below so I'll give that a shot.

So order now is Ivy-Nuka-mag-Spacevault, at bottom of load order in MO2. Did the reset with the magazine holo-tape, did a soft reset of Ivy with the NCX holotape. She still doesn't respond when I pick up a magazine. She does however respond when I drop one, but it's to let me know we'll discuss later because there are enemies around (even if there aren't - did this in a cleared area, did this in a safe settlement - same response). 

Must be some weird mod conflict, but just can't figure our which ...

Ivy should be Slot 1 - you recruit her as normal, then recruit Piper using the RAM-FM holotape. Ivy should always be the primary companion. If you recruited her with the holotape, then you broke something.

IBAGadget has it right. Ivy needs to be the prime companion for her to work properly.

you are correct - forgot the order of doing things with the multi-follower mod.

Dismissed Ivy with the holotape, dismissed Piper, rehired Ivy normally and then Piper with the holotape and everything is working as it should. Thanks!

Hi, 
I can't find or reach her in a regular RP way.
That radio starter seems to do nothing even when I cheat for the location and go near her cave, nothing happens, and the door is impossible to open even if it shows a "novice" difficulty level and me being level 60.
(I was abke to get to her through the console, but I'm sure it's not the way you imagined.)
Is that because I already have a companion?
