I had a similar problem when I was playing with AFT (I suspect AFT was the cause, but I’m not completely sure). I never found a solution, so I started a new game without AFT.

Try Hardware Town (washing machines), BADTFL, Fallon's. Almost any mailbox

Play Tales without Ivy. They don't conflict... but you'll need your vanilla companion slot open.

I assume you mean for adding the Tales companions. Or, do some of the quests have temporary companions?

Same as vanilla, you'll have to dismiss Ivy if you don't use multifollower mods which is not advisable 'cept RAM-FM

2. I don't quite remember... but, if I did, that may spoil a bit of it.

 

Last thing anyone wants to do is have to send Ivy packing mid quest.

After completing Ivy's task "Stein's structure" and starting the task "Ominous end", but after Ivy's conversation with Deborah, I am teleported to a room in which it is impossible to move. The character does not respond to either the mouse or the keyboard, you can only open the pipboy and throw a grenade.

Disable player headtracking and comments. Try the end again.

Any particular reason Ivy would lose her voice.  The subtitles are there, but her voice is nearly gone.  She still has a voice to occasionally acknowledge a talk prompt, but that's it.

 

I use LIGA companion mod so that might be it.  Is it possible to remove her from that mods' clutches?

"LIGA works without issues", they say... Uh-huh...

The only key factor I'm aware of, while someone is using multifollower mods is: Ivy should always use 1st companion slot. Period

The mod author recommends a companion mod – which, in his opinion, doesn't pose any problems.

But here, too, he explicitly points out that his Ivy should be recruited first... it's not for nothing that her "basement" was placed so close to the game's main starting location.

 

Other companion mods only work 90-95% of the time... and if you know the problems, you can usually work around them.

But - the assault on "the Mechanist's" headquarters requires the robot ADA (and the decryption system installed on her)... which then leads to an interesting "bug" with Ivy as the first companion in the multi-companion mod -> the decryption beam doesn't come from ADA's body, but from Ivy.

 

Not taking Ivy along on this quest isn't an option either - she has quite a bit of dialogue material for this mission!

"Sure, because AAA game made by huge team in their work time is guaranteed to be bug-free." (which they won't fix ever)

 

Mod's been tested over years. Ivy all alone runs without any issues. If one have complex script-heavy mod-list then its their problem. All known inconveniences are listed here or on discord.

Yes. There's a Far Harbor add-on in the works that has already been written and coded; it's basically just waiting for the voice recording and final testing. Future plans recently mentioned on the Discord include an Automatron/Vault 88 add-on as well as an Ivy 7.0 upgrade which has been described as mostly under the hood stuff.

What would cause Ivy to loose some of her voiced responses.  She speaks when engaged to talk, when agreeing to talk, "Yes mistress" and the like, but anything beyond that is subtitles only.  

 

I initially thought it was LIGA causing it it, but after removing that mod and starting a new save, it started happening again a few hours into the new game.

Well i've got SEU, and Commonwealth Captives, and Autonomous.  Any clue as to which one it would be?
