I am trying to come up with something that will make the game play more like my PC is a Casanova trying to seduce all of the attractive females in Skyrim and create little Dragonborns everywhere. On my 1st play through I was using Flower Girls seduction system. It was ok since I had to put some effort into each conquest, but I'm looking for a little more immersion than what it gives and a lot more animation options. I just started trying out Eager NPCS, but the combination of SLA and the fact that I own Bathing Beauties and Beefcakes, made my wife's and my arousal levels shoot through the roof in one day. She was at 100 and could only ask for sex every time I talked to her. I'm hoping that SLAX will make it more manageable. Will I be able to adjust how much the arousal drops from having sex? The SLA implementation was only dropping it a couple of points. It would be nice if it would drastically drop it so I can start fresh (don't most of us guys just want to take a nap afterwards?) Also, if any of you know of a better option for me than Eager NPCs, please let me know. I tried Sexlab Romance and it was basically just an "I Want Sex Now" interface which was disappointing. Maybe it would be better with a low Speechcraft. I don't know.
xxrailxx Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 For some reason, creature arousal only refreshes when I press N on a creature. I tried to set scan time to 15 seconds. It's either takes a lot of time for some reason or just straight up refuses to scan creatures. Is this a problem with this mod or something else handles creature arousal? SexLab allow creatures is enabled. It all started from here I had a problem with this mod and turned out it could be related to arousal. Check the link to see papyrus logs and replies from the mod creator. He recommended me to go here.

I can't even remember myself. I think I did upload it. There's another bug though, with naked PC, which means naked PC isn't considered when they should be in some scenarios. That's probably not as bad as it sounds, as naked PC sending everyone sex mad is ... rubbish really. I wanted to get back to SLAX this weekend, but DF is dragging me back. However, 2.09 version of DF will probably get things to a point where I can get back to SLAX and put in much needed fixes and improvements. There are a handful of issues that need fixing, and some feature hacks it might be nice to have while a more robust solution is being built. It also turns out there aren't enough keywords yet Which seems impossible, but it's true. Because of when Lozeak quit, SLAX development got stalled right when I wanted to push on with it the most. It's a bit frustrating. SLAX is not at all what I want it to be in its current state. The SLA model of arbitrary time-slice updates is not viable. It's a broken approach that delivers different outcomes depending on whether some other mod is hammering updates into SLA or not. In SLA an NPC who is left alone for a week will have a different arousal to one who is following the PC around - even if there is nothing arousing happening. Both outcomes are kind of ... meh ... right now. NPCs that you haven't seen in a short time-frame should have randomly determined arousals on a pre-defined distribution curve, adjusted with respect to their baseline horniness. We don't have that. NPCs that are getting frequent exposure to the PC - imagine people who are always in the tavern where you are prostituting on a daily basis - should still follow a sane arousal curve, not go sex mad because a naked PC is always in front of them. Basing all "lewdness" on a single Lewd stat doesn't work well either, but the main problem is the fundamental approach to simulation in SLA. It's not only failing to give good results, it prevents implementing anything responsive for the PC (or NPCs). 1

(You, in this mod's description, when talking about patches from SLSO being installed over this mod) "I believe the patch has to do with Animation Appropriate Arousal" -- this patch kind of exists because of me and a few others pestering Ed and others to make it. Back in the days before I used SexLab Separate Orgasm (SLSO), and used Pet Collar, things like a blowjob between a female character (giving) and a futa/dickgirl character (receiving) would lead to NO change in arousal on orgasm for either party, because both characters were considered "female" and neither "oral" nor "blowjob" were tags that SexLab Aroused (SLA) watched for, to reset their orgasm timers/arousal as it were. Since they lost no arousal on scene, Pet collar would make my dom rape me over, and over, and over again until something NON-blowjob was rolled... buggy and immersion breaking. That "Animation Appropriate Arousal" patch exists to make sure that in scenes where a person *should* cum, they do. This seems like it would be simple, but back in the day (and to a lesser extent still to this day), animation makers are... very liberal on what animations they consider "blowjob" versus "oral" versus "Facefuck" versus "facecum" (looking at you, FunnyBizness), and it would really mess around with who could cum in what scene. TL/DR that patch you mentioned is for adding extra sex-position tags to watch lists for triggering orgasm with traditionally fucky or vague actor cominbations like futa/female, futa(dom)/male(sub), and creature/anything. I hope that's useful somehow. 1

I always just have the old MCM. Does anyone know what the problem is?

If at the bottom you see "Show status instead of splash page" then your installation worked.

From mod description I was expecting additional options for editing tags and preferences, but mine is exactly the same as older SLA versions: just options for time rate, exposure, SOS, aroused animations, and puppet master.

There are no screenshots in the mod description of what the SLAX MCM is supposed to look like, so I don't know if what I have is actually working, but again, based on the mod description and updated features described, I don't think the MCM that's loading in my game is correct, mine seems very vanilla.

Also added Trauma value, which gets added to Fatigue, which both get subtracted from Time Rate and Frustration. So: ((Time Rate + Frustration) - (Fatigue + Trauma)). Trauma gets added after a rape scene, unless the actor is lewd. And if the actor is lewd, it decays twice as fast. SLAX Edits 4 (with Tenri Fixes).zip

She was at 100 and could only ask for sex every time I talked to her. I'm hoping that SLAX will make it more manageable. Will I be able to adjust how much the arousal drops from having sex? The SLA implementation was only dropping it a couple of points. It would be nice if it would drastically drop it so I can start fresh (don't most of us guys just want to take a nap afterwards?) Also, if any of you know of a better option for me than Eager NPCs, please let me know. I tried Sexlab Romance and it was basically just an "I Want Sex Now" interface which was disappointing. It introduces a random element into how the speech results don't always end in a 100% positive and so on. He is a razor sharp guy and it's all very scientific.

Months ago in this thread you mentioned you were looking for people's thoughts on what they would like out of a system like this and you mentioned outcomes vs gameplay. Later on you also mentioned the possibilities of alternate methods of assuaging arousal. I'm sure you've probably moved on from the conceptual headspace but I had a couple of thoughts on the latter regardless. I'm not sure if this fits your ideas for the former though. For me I love the idea and fantasy behind the control of my PC's arousal. Especially in regards to the consequences so many mods already offer if you're unable to. So for controlling arousal? Self harm/punishment? Could get biblical with stuff like self flagellation or such. I'd hate to encourage self mutilation but that's definitely a thing. Could even be small stuff like pinching yourself, biting your tongue, or grinding your teeth. Those last bits could even possibly skate by without fancy animations or assets. Doing that type of stuff too much often leads to duplicity though that could eventually lead to a perversion of whatever action you once used as an escape. I think that'd be an interesting concept to toy with too. I mean what did most guys do during puberty? Think about spiders? Dear old granny? We gave ourselves distractions right? Speaking of spiders, fears and dislikes is totally a path we could look at. Maybe specific fears or dislikes a character has? A brown recluse crawled out of my t-shirt sleeve a month ago while I was gaming. I assure you, TnA was the farthest thing from my mind in that moment lol. Although giving players finite control of stuff of this nature is getting back into the realm of gameplay over the fantasy it's got to be worth consideration. Stuff like that could seriously drive the immersion points up even if players had to do a little setup beforehand. Hell what's one more MCM tab eh? If we think about it in regard for pleasant or willful distractions designating hobbies would be the other side of that. Crafting makes sense and would be easy to implement right? When people need to get their minds off of something they go do a physical activity or focus harder on some detail oriented task. What about new or novel experiences? Reading a book your character hasn't read before is something I know some mods already track. What about discovery? reveal a new world map location for the first time? "Holy shit that dwarven tower over there is 5 ft taller than the last one and definitely isn't vaguely phallic and/or arousing!" I know others have mentioned fighting already but if we're thinking in terms of what's novel encountering a creature you've never fought is a thing. Not sure how you'd track that though. Could include creatures in the entities that are already polled by the mod and anything that hasn't previously been logged constitutes a distraction? *Edit* Could totally work with bosses and/or unique encounters too right? *Edit* Shit I slipped into gameplay mode my bad. Personally I usually avoid creature content but if this were a thing being near a creature type you've repeatedly gotten kinky could also have the opposite effect. I mean literally anything could be a sufficient enough distraction or impetus depending on the player or character's mindset. Much of this would probably be some serious work and possibly extend into the realm of animations and player actions. Could probably just be separate mods too. I'm sure you've got enough on your plate already and some of this might not be necessarily what you're going for. Dunno. I'm just a novice user and I'm sure someone has already thought about some of this or possibly even made a mod for LE that I'm just ignorant of. Got a wild hair and figured I'd chime in.
