Update:

 

Wasted 2 hours chasing a bug that wasn't a bug, just me being a dumbass. In the process found some other minor issues and fixed them. Ready to strangle someone. :rage:

UPDATE:

 

Well... Shazbot!

 

Today ended up much more of a bug hunt than I wanted. Didn't make any progress aside from bug fixes and some QoL tweaks. Found out that anal sex for women has been disabled in the raider prostitution script since day one! ?

 

Le sigh...

 

1.5 won't be out before Saturday.

 

EDIT: FUCKSAKE... The Customer rape script had the same problem. How in the actual fuck did I not notice this!? Essentially the random number that chooses the position... I had it set to 1 in 2 instead of 1 in 3...

 

Shit like this is gonna give me nightmares.

I got a really strange bug when playing with this mod. basically everything this mod offers, works but I get no animations.

i.E. I get the dialogue pop ups as well as the aftermath pop up but no actual animations

 

Before you ask; I've got AFF running perfectly as well as other mods like AFF violate etc. working.

I do use the alternate start mod but as stated in the sticky got the item/ startup after a save+reload to appear.

I also did a clean save just to make sure it's not some script lag

 

Did anyone else run into this or is it just me?

 

EDIT: forgot to mention it, but this applies to both FM as well as FF scenes.

Also I attached a load order file just in case you see something, that I don't

Do you have Fallout 4 Animations by Leito  installed & working?

AAF-oriented mod conflicts are as much (or more) about install/deploy order as they are about plugin load order. For example, you won't see this (because it has no plugin), which Hardship needs to be able to choose animations:

As Vaultbait said this is almost certainly a tags related issue. If you have One patch to bang them all you need to remove all The Leito XMLs that it comes with. And use the ones from Polistros patches (link in my requirements) instead. (you also need the esp.) I also notice that you have Atomic Lust but Hardship requires Rufgt's old animations for FF customers (though female raiders will still rape you if you don't)

 

I'm sorry it has to be this way. the tags situation with AAF has been a clusterfuck for a while. Halstrom and the developer of One Patch have been occupied with RL stuff for a while, so it's pretty much been in stasis.

 

If you go back through this thread you can find more information as this has come up MANY times. 

 

In general AFAIK esp load order shouldn't really affect Hardship... except where it comes to Hotel Rexford related mods (as mentioned in the known issues)

Update:

 

The setbacks I had yesterday lit a fire under my ass to polish some things I was gonna leave rough around the edges. My goal for this morning is to have every time a rapist laughs at you, spits on you, or slaps you in the popups to have the appropriate sound effect. I'm almost there. I just need to create a laughing sound effect for customer rapists.

 

They also laugh when they steal from you which I must say makes it worse. ?

 

After that, thorough testing of all the multi sex type scripts, then finally working on the Vaginal and Anal scripts.

 

Been having issues with scripted position changes sometimes not taking if they occur on a particularly long animation stage. I'm now calling the change on EACH actor, which either helps or is complete superstition on my part. Oh well.

BTW: When I post one of my pics with the Premier logo don't think that's an endorsement of the site. I'm just too lazy to find a copy without the logo on it. Someday when I have more time I intend to take all my stuff off there.

@Tentacus Something I've noticed during The Battle of Bunker Hill is that Marge dies every time. Not sure what faction kills her... but she dies really fast.
I flagged her as Protected and going to run it again to see who's hostile to her.

BTW... in my game, most NPC's are packing 1 shot kill anything weapons. So it could even be "friendly fire". LOL

Just a reminder that there is an easily fiixed error in AAF themes that prevents Leito Standing Doggy 1 and 2 from being called in M/F anims. including in Hardship. I only bring this up again because I recently redownloaded Themes when debugging something and forgot I had fixed it and just had to fix it again. This is what you need to change:

Well... This xml stuff is prone to typos and it quickly becomes unmanagable (for me at least). I barely understand the contents of those xmls. I wish we had a much more easier method for this stuff...

For this reason I'm sticking with one patch + one patch fix + savage cabbage 1.0.4 and old other animations. I'm staying away from BP and updates of other animations... I have a pretty stable setup currently and I don't want to mess it up.

Im old-fashioned, or stupid depending on your perspective. I don't use MO2 or Vortex because i cant get them work. So use I the community version of Ye olde NMM. I install the one patch and then overwrite with Polistro's patch and everything works fine for me. I also use the older version of Bodytalk (V2.70) as the updated version results in either no erection at all or giant futa-style silliness for men depending on which end of the scale i set the erection slider. Everything is working fine currently so i have backed away slowly from my AAF installation and won't be touching much until something else breaks it. I will try out that Leito XML fix though i think even i can manage that much. ?

Side effect of BW, Bloat flies are not hostile but will follow you around killing everything. I used them to clear Jamaica Plain. :)
Then a random spawn of settlers took em out. LOL

Unless bloatflies are in the gunner or Raider faction I do not think it's possible that this is related to Hardship. :confused:

In general I try to keep my mods lore friendly, but there are times when you just have to make decisions based on conflicting sources.  Right now I am writing some extra pop up dialogue for Ghoul sex, and I wanted to share with you my decisions of how I treat ghouls as they stand now in 2019. The question at hand is are Ghouls just regenerating rotting zombies or something a little different that just shares charactaristics with that?

 

As far as Hardship is concerned I have come to the conclusion that they are something inbetween Black isle/Fallout 3 Ghouls, and Fallout 4 ghouls. In other words for the purposes of Hardship I think they smell bad... (Or just "weird " in the best case scenareo), but are less squishy than rough and bumpy. So in otherwords it borrows a little from all sources. I think this is the best solution if ghouls are going to be depicted as sexually active which they definitely are throughout most games.

They are from the K-girl outfits clothing set on the nexus https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26309... but I deleted the nonoverall part of the outfit in nifskope (or maybe outfit studio I don't remember... Probably the latter as I also had to convert it to Fusion Girl)

 

In general that mod is fantastic for grabbing pieces to mix and match. The sad girl from my videos also wears an outfit from there.

Update: 

 

I've got a lot or RL crap going on today so things are going slow but steady. Again I don't want to rush things and release something extra buggy so it may not be till monday that 1.5 is released. Trust me nobody wants this done more than me. :)

Hi, the mod is working good so far, however I'm trying to get raiders and gunners to menace my character. She has no companions with her or anything else. Weapons are unequiped and fists also. She is in BW mode.

I'm not getting any of the messages saying "You look threatening", "You don't look threatening"

Every raider I have encountered is immediately shooting at me.

Do you get any Hardship related messages on load? It sounds like the main script isn't working. Maybe try redownloading the mod and reinstalling, sometimes scripts become corrupted. 

 

Oh also if you have a really out of date version of AAF that could be the culprit. I had a problem kind of like that a while back but I don't remember the specifics unfortunately.

Cool, I changed it, hopefully if RL lets me I will get an update for Themes done in next few weeks.
