ThePyre Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Is there a way to change the way pubic hair matches to the hair of an NPC? I'm using Realistic Hair Colors mod, which changes the hair colors a bunch by way of editing the hair part color values themselves, so I end up with mismatched coloring. I don't want to change every individual NPC pubic color by hand. so I'm asking if there is way to edit those values for the pubic hair too.

I believe that it picks the base color from the actor's hair color record as the default. You would either need to add and compile a check for an individual hair part record in PHFRecolorEffectScript (which seems both tricky given the variable nature of hair parts AND potentially heavyweight for a frequently called script) or come up with a kind of Synthesis/zPatch type solution that will check the RHC edits for those color changes and backport patch the color back onto the main actor (which is itself a bit tricky since you would have to add new CLFM entries for any RGB values that aren't already there to reference them that way). A simpler but more clunky method would be to just manually list the changes and then compile something in the initial config somewhere to run a bunch of StorageUtil.SetIntValue(actorformid, "PHFCustomColor", therightARGBvalue) to automate doing it the color-by-hand way.

jdods13 Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 This CTDs in skyrim VR. Is there a compatibility patch for SKSE VR or a work around for use in VR?
ZAnon Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Hey I am having a little difficulty with getting this mod to work in my Skyrim VR install, I am able to "equip" the different types of hair in the MCM to different NPCs however the mesh and textures do not show up when the clothes are removed from them. I am wondering if this has something to do with DynDOLOD or something else I may have installed. I have checked everything and have even ensured that I built the pubes in Bodyslide for my custom body preset except nothing seems to work. I will provide more context and screenshots if needed >>Update: I set up al-l the mods I had in my SkyrimVR setup in Special Edition and the mod functioned as it should minus the bodyslide files being recessed into the body's, I am assuming the problem with SkyrimVR is just solely based on the fact that it is the VR port of skyrim.
CyborgNinja Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 Anyone know if this would at all work with SOS Light? 1

shar181 Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Is there a way that we could have one of these public hair options active alongside another schlong? They'd be perfect for covering the slight seam with the UNP schlong. :3 Spoiler She's so close to being perfect!
llyarc Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Is there a way to make a clothing considered nude (showing pubic hair) by adding keywords or other without actually entering the game.
customerhenry Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 Hello. First at all I want to thank you Karsanian for all the great work that he have done. It's very beautiful 3D. Thanks. I'ms using VR and it's working perfectly but not the matching colour with the NPC because allways is black. I was reading all the old post and I saw that all the people had the same problem but I don't know if actually this problem is fixed. There are any option or way actually to fix the problem of the matching colour? Thank you so much.
Vyxenne Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 [/Added 7 new meshes bringing the total to 10 different options for you to choose from quote]Are there images of the new meshes anywhere? Thanks.

DamayatiYalistan Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 I don't know if it is on purpose or an issue but the pubic hair is semi transparent. Body overlays show straight through making the hair basically invisible. If it is a bug does someone know how to fix this? If it is designed like that does anyone know how to alter a texture so its no longer semi transparent. I've only found out how to make them semi transparent so I haven't a clue on how to do the opposite.

Maybe there's a texture transparency setting?
theblindbat Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 More than likely this is a mesh issue. I also see areas or regions of the hair 'disappear' but in reality I think the hair is just receding (clipping) behind the body mesh. If you're using 3BA, try setting the (I forget the actual slider) lower stomach/front area to -1 and see if more of your pubic mesh appears. I suppose you could also alter the creation of the pubic meshes themselves, doing just the opposite when you build them, that is, if any relevant sliders are available in your BodySlide configuration.
Watchamacallit Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 is there a way to make the pubic hair visible only for females in specific armors? Via esp editing? mesh editing? I know there's a "revealing" option in the MCM but it also makes it revealing for males which means their schlongs show on the male variant of that armor. Is there a solution to this?
Erstam Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 Note: If you're using my dll-free Schlongs of skyrim version, please override the SOS_Config script from the Female Pubics mod with this version: Script Override for PapyrusUtil SOS and Female Pubics mod.7z It will integrate the changes to the MCM for both mods. 2
AnonAngelion Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 Is there an LE version of this anywhere? or a similar mod, I can't seem to find any UUNP 3D pubic hairs that actually work.
southernm Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 I was having trouble with the hair being inside the body on AE. Rebuilt the meshes with body slide several times with different sliders. Rebuilt the 3ba body several times also. Comparing the meshes from SE and AE I noticed the AE meshes weren't updating. Since the mod worked perfectly on SE I swapped the meshes and now it works on AE. Might be caused by a borked body slide install, I am running both editions. Meshes dated in AE 12/17/19, in SE 12/17/21.
charley02 Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 (edited) "SOS NPC Female Pubics" are working, but when I choose one in MCM, the colors choices below and the option to custom color are gone, (instead it just says "Schlong Size - SOSRACEMENU") I'm trying to get "SOS NPC Female Pubics v 2.0.4" working correctly again since I updated to 1.6.353 and SKSE64 2.1.5. "SOS AE" hasn't been updated yet so I'm using this setup: XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended - Fixed Scripts SOS SE 1.1.4 (dll files removed or disabled) SOS PapyrusUtil version Beta 4 (UPDATE) Tempered Skins for Males - SOS Full Version Script Override for PapyrusUtil SOS and Female Pubics mod Am I doing something wrong, or is this just the problem with not using the normal "SOS AE" that was working correctly for me with 1.6.342 and SKSE64 2.1.4? Thanks! ***EDIT*** NVM - I fixed it: (With Vortex) I had "Script Override for PapyrusUtil SOS and Female Pubics mod" loading AFTER "SOS NPC Female Pubics v 2.0.4" but loading BEFORE "SOS PapyrusUtil version Beta 4 (UPDATE)" - I changed it to AFTER and now I have the color menu back in MCM! Vyxenne Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Based on the name of this enhanced version, the pubes provided are for use on NPCs only. Is that true? I already had the original mod installed before I found this and I was able to use the MCM to assign one of the styles to my Player Character. Please advise if that is no longer the case (i.e. that the pubes from this mod are not usable on Player Characters). Thanks.
Gameplayer Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 (edited) So I tried out this mod, What I found was that if the character or player character have a Bodypaint option from Racemenu such as a Tattoo or Sunstarved tanlines......... Well the Pubic hair becomes entirely transparrent if that portion of the Bodypaint occupies that area. Gets really weird when it is not entirely covered cause only a part of the pubic hair is transparent. Dont really like this compared to the other options for pubic hair right now because at least with the other ones I can really layor stuff like tats, bodypaints, and tanlines. EDIT, Found a solution, Too stop the pubic hairs from behaving as a decal layor on the body. Open Each of the NIF files, Go to BSlightingShaderProperties, ShaderFlags1, Unselect Decal and DynamicDecal, those flags tell the game to treat these meshes as being DECALS rather than 3d objects. Meaning they will be rendered flat on the body and also they will lose to any Racemenu Bodypaint such as tatts, suntans, body paints. Edited May 4, 2022 by Gameplayer 3
