Just confused by the terminology, what is an example of a sex node item, or loungeable or sex enabled bed?

Loungeable: Objects you interact with to sit/lay and generally idle in. Chairs, beds, pods, tables(?) and such.

A Sex node item is either a Loungeable Addon, a Sexbound node (Object spawned at the feet of NPC's to engage sex animations on the go) or, beds that are Sexbound exclusive (No sleeping or "lounging"). The latter are obtained from crafting.

Hello. Faced with a problem when I have sex with npc and try to show the emotion blabber.1 as a result of the character becomes invisible. Most often this effect is observed in Novakids. (Sorry, my English is not very good, so I use the translator)

I have problem with pregnancy. I skip the time in the game and the real one, but only the NPC was born. My character is still pregnant.

To find the log file, it should be within your Starbound installation directory, then the storage folder. You should see a text file named starbound.log (Or simply starbound, a plain text file). Paste it into your response as a attached file, or use PasteBin, whichever you prefer. Then users can look into your issues with the necessary information at hand.

Specifically, you mean NPC's are giving birth just fine, but your character isn't?
Did you make sure your API was updated and also that your mod is setup to use in-game time instead of real-time?

To change the config of the mod, you have to be using the UNPAK/source version.

After you got that one, reach into the mod's files and alter "sxb_plug.pregnant.config";

  "useOSTimeForPregnancies": true,

Alter that "true" to "false". That should allow you to skip time and cause pregnancies to trigger, in-game, without waiting a week.

Trying to play with only 1 hand?  Yes, it's a bit awkward but it's definitely feasible, as in, requires altering the API's code... Sadly not an option in the configs yet.

Oh, i thought i was the only one who ever had this issue, huh. I know a little fix for this but it's quite a lot of work, surprised to know it's not just a visual issue on my end.

Nope, instead, you get to enjoy a medium-to-heavy read about it.

 

 

Topic goes on several fronts why that's not possible, but general TL;DR, creators don't want it made, and will fight back against attempts to support it.

Do you have any recommendations for mods like FU that doesn't restrict sexbound?

Well, there are no mods like FU, there are other "modpack" type setups and large mod conglomerates that get close to FU, but not in terms of total content and rewrites.

Biggest contenders that come to mind are Arcana, Elithian Races, Shellguard, etc. but FYI no races from Elithian races are supported due to lack of permission either.

Speaking of: I was wondering if the mod had a blacklist feature so I could have the unsupported ones just reject the deed altogether? might be a good feature.

Could also add support for consequences if you were to try, dying of radiation poisoning for trying it with Xi for example. it would be a funny.

Currently not a mechanic, if a unsupported race just goes into a node, it just becomes a bald human, inhering the race's skin color if possible.

Though, a mechanic for "sex hazards" would indeed be funny, and make room for other interesting mechanics.

Player pregnancies have a interface asking you whether or not to give birth "Right here, right now" when the time arrives.

I want to use the POV mod, and I've got everything working so far. My only problem is that all of the Floran files seem to have vanished, and so have humans for poses 1 and 2. I'm not entirely sure where to look or who to ask for those, but I was hoping I'd find them somewhere. Thanks in advance

Having issues with most of the compatibility patches for races not working and showing a bald human instead during sex. The race patches I have that do work are Protogen and Avali and pretty much everything else does not. They are all put in the mods folder as a .pak or as an unzipped folder. Using latest Sexbound version. Is it possible the patches are outdated? Or could it be that I have FU installed which is messing some stuff up?

Normally, if something breaks because of FU, no supports work. Would you mind sharing a log, and checking if the folders in question are inside another folder, by chance? There's a few specifications of using unpacked mods, which is why it's recommended using PAK files over not, still, you mention some being installed as PAKs and still not working, so i can't troubleshoot those without a log.
