Correct.  For consistency with the rest of the database, the presumption would be a bottom/receiving female PC.

I don't think this is a problem that can be solved the way that everyone is hoping it will be.  Apropos is relying on animation tags to inform it what's going on, and can't easily determine who is doing what action (other than the relatively simple ACTIVE/PRIMARY).  A potential solution would be something like Apropos DB Filter to modify the database based on expected playstyle.

I'm not really interested in maintaining multiple versions of my database; my presumption would be that someone else could cultivate variations once the content was in place.  For a while I was considering something I was calling "Kink Packs" that would allow users to swap content themes in and out, but ultimately decided I have plenty of other things to work on already.  :)

Good afternoon, I have the issue that upon starting a new game the synonyms are not appearing in the descriptions. All I get are blank spaces between words where a synonym should be. Before I created a new file this was working flawlessly. I have reinstalled it, clicked within the MCM to reconfigure and clean up Apropos, and tested with different actors to see if there was just one NPC that it wouldn't work with but it is consistent. I have changed a couple of the words within the synonym file but that was before I restarted and it worked in the old file. I also 'installed' the Apropos 2 DB update but that was also before the new game.

The only update that has happened between file was adding the patches needed for Hunterborn and CACO, nothing that should have touched Apropos.

 

I really hope you guys can help as I love this mod and it would be a lot less sexy playing the game without it.

The only update that has happened between file was adding the patches needed for Hunterborn and CACO, nothing that should have touched Apropos.

 

I really hope you guys can help as I love this mod and it would be a lot less sexy playing the game without it.

Whenever you make a change to the DB yourself, it's never a bad idea to run it through a JSON validator. It will help you to spot errors like missing commas and such.

I think without Slavetats you might not see the textures related to your abuse.
For me that is one of the main reasons why I use apropos at all.

For anyone wanting a Special Edition version of this, 

 the file in this worked amazingly for me. All I did was load it with vortex, made sure I have the same requirements as listed here, and it works flawlessly. I'm not a modder nor do I ever post comments anywhere, but it worked so good I just had to share.

ah okay, same. I was under the impression slavetats are those tattoos rather than cuts/bruises etc. guess I'll keep it then. thanks

Fundamentally, its because Eadoo's database has kept the synonym more concise and smaller. The synonyms.txt in the No-Incest patch is larger and we have seen large synonyms break the JContainers lookup. I would use Eadoo's db and not the No-Incest patch, if you are seeing missing words.

If you're on LE, you want

 

SlaveTats-1.3.0-beta-2.7z

If you're on SE,  you want

SlaveTatsSE-1.3.5.2.7z

All the other files there are tattoo packs, you can download as many of them as you'd like. Be aware though that the ones with CN in the name are chinese translations and will probably display as rectangular boxes.

I had an odd bug and I'm hoping there might be a way to fix or bypass it. I'm using Skyrim Unbound and Jaxonz Utilities, which includes Jaxonz Real Names. Jaxonz Real Names seems to assign a random name to the character during the Skyrim Unbound startup (It may do this during other startups as well, I'm not sure) I'm not exactly sure which part causes the bug, but it seems that the name I gave my character does not show up in the apropos messages, but instead the assigned name does. Is there a way for me to override or refresh this so that the messages use the actual name for my character?

Don't think so. I'm using GetDisplayName() on the Actor object that represents the PC which is a SKSE function rather than using the regular Actor name. This was changed years ago in fact because some requested it to support the renaming utilities like Jaxonz.
