When you reached "7/6/5" in your abuse levels, did your PC experience any more abuse before healing? The W&T system tracks when you last got abused (per area) and if you continue to receive abuse in that area, the amount of healing is only nominal. Only until you leave that area alone during all those healing rounds will healing really start to improve. The system is based on tracking the number of rounds since last abuse in each area.  So, in your case, if you had stopped getting anal/oral but still got vaginal then vaginal would "get reset" back to the starting point in the healing curve.

 

Normally to accelerate healing (if you are impatient), I would recommend moving degrade factor to 2 (instead of 1.2) and hours to 2 or 4. 

Apropos also has it's own log, not papyrus log, which if you set it up in MCM by toggling debug and trace, will contain detailed information (including computations) about the W&T system. Apropos0.log (Apropos1.log, etc) is under the user subfolder of the log folder.

Thanks, that was a very helpful reply. How long after abuse will it start to heal then? From what I can recall I got damage in all areas during one animation, and then nothing before sleep. That's why I expected an equal level of healing in all areas. Or does the amount of damage to an area affect it?

 

 I will try with a higher degrade factor and activate the log to see if I can get some clarity on things. But I'm still very confused about the fact that normal consumables(those not on the list) had an effect on Apropos at all. I can't even imagine what kind of mod would do that. Realistic Needs and Requiem make changes to consumables but are very independent from Apropos.

Yeah, hard to say without some diagnostics. There's some randomness built-in to the whole system, so things don't track together necessarily. The apropos0 log will say something when a consumable is applied to the PC.  And it's possible there's an unexpected name match as well.

If you enable Debug, and eat/drink a potion/ingredient, you should see in the log:

Ate an healing ingredient: xxx
or

Drank a healing potion: xxx

Which doesn't mean healing occurred necessarily.

If you have Trace also enabled you will see something like this, if a name was matched against a consumable:

consumables min value= xxx, max=yyy, scaled arousal=zzz  for <consumable>  which has heal=<amount>

I did not, and that happens for health, magicka and stamina regen at half the rate. But nothing was regening. Think I might have fixed it with the console. But I don't know if rape will still have the same effects it used to. Haven't been raped again, doesn't happen very often. But my pc is going to stop adventuring so much for a bit anyway, she just happened to get knocked up from the last time. -_-

Out of curiosity, have you ever looked at the player stats in Apropos MCM?

So I enabled the log and found something interesting that confirms my suspicions. Can you explain why oral gets more healing? If I had ordered extra oral healing it would be one thing, but I didn't. Vaginal state also doesn't update in the MCM for some reason. It's still 7 when it says 6 in the console. After this I have a state of 7/5/4, but according to the console vaginal abuse=6.

 

Why is it important? It helps me find the sweetspot I want for the W&T healing, if such a thing can ever be achieved that is. I could be simple and just let it heal whatever it does, but I want it to be balanced.

 

I found the cause for the problems with the consumables though. I had messed up when editing the list so it didn't recognize it, but I've fixed it.

I don't remember the specific occasion, but I wanted to clear up the face textures faster than the body. So, yes, that is intentional. Sorry, I couldn't remember the change (probably made over 2 years ago). But the log help jog my memory.

No.  Apropos2 doesn't understand the difference between SLSO and Sexlab-standard orgasm...the stage understood by Apropos2 is simply Orgasm.

There's probably a way to change that, but it would require both script changes and extensive database updates, and I'm currently swimming in database updates that need doing with the CURRENT design.  :)

I've played a bit more with it now and if there is something it needs more of it's vaginal healing, because that area takes the most damage. Most animations are vaginal(especially aggressive creature animations) and oral has the least animations. You made something counterproductive(at least in my book) which means oral quickly goes down to one, while we still have a lot of damage in the other areas. This is not very practical in a gameplay perspective if you want to be able to have normal sex and still walk. After having waited a whole day with 100% chance of healing every 2 hours, my stages were 8/1/1. I mean WTF?

 

If you worry about the face overlays, they will be cleared eventually even with 1x oral healing, because it's so rare that you go over 5. I don't know about you, but I don't run around giving BJs to everything I see(would get really repetitive). You can also remove the face textures in Slave Tats in case they are bothering you, but constantly having to override the stages in Apropos doesn't feel right and is not the kinda of game I want to play. Your code is more appropriate for a private version.

 

Changed the script myself to have 2x vaginal healing instead of oral. Just need someone to compile it for me since I normally don't work with scripts and couldn't get the compiler to work.

Hmmm...just because Vaginal is hit more frequently, it should heal more frequently too?

I'm all for making each of the three 1x.  Making Vaginal 2x while the others are 1x seems like a private version, as well.

I can live with that. It would mean a fast healing rate wouldn't totally counter any oral damage. I uploaded my version of the script because I wanted help compiling it and not as a replacement for the official version. I admit it's more about playability than being realistic, but that might also be subjective depending on your view of the mod and how you want to play it.

Seems like a set of three sliders in MCM would satisfy everyone (ranged 0.5 to 10.0, or something like that, with the defaullts all being 1.0)

Is there any way, pls, to actually 'stop' 'narrative messages' from Apropos appearing?  I can't see anything in the MCM that I recognise as doing that

 

I'd just l;ike to stop all the 'internalised' stuff from floating across the screen if possible    As well as removing any lag that could be added by their merely being set for a 0 time appearance - which I must confess I have only just thought on as a possible 'solution'  :)

Not sure what I am doing wrong but Apropos seems to be getting scene messages completely wrong, doing stuff like saying Foresworn are tentacle monsters. Have I just done something wrong here, I don't see any issues with how I installed it.

Can this mod lock the inventory for a few seconds? Sometimes I can't open it and then all of a sudden the lock is gone. I've noticed healing force closes the inventory so I thought it could be this mod.

Pretty sure that is caused by Slavetats. Does it correlate with SL animations?
