Hello there, im really interested in this mod but... one of the points: 

 

- One/one rape scenes can have the animation changed by the rapist, and/or animation stage backed up (stepped backwards to the previous stage), all based upon chance and arousal. It is possible to get more than one orgasm from an aggressor. 

 

Give me a feeling that it gonna conflict with the separated orgsam mod. anybody have tested it?

first: most what Apropos classic had to offer works in apropos 1.0.0.5 too

New Apropos does register way better what happens during SL animations and chooses the right comments, thx for that one gooser

but some things dont work on my setup and I hope ppl can proove me wrong:


MISC SEX EFFECTS:

SL animation change and SL animation stage repeat works great,
but the Rape Animation Switch Chance is stuck at 30%
I can rise or lower the %, but it jumps always back to 30%

W&T consumables:
they just dont work anymore on my setup with 1.0.0.5, means no W&T heal or SLA rise or any effects/comments

I rose the spider egg/ chaurus egg heal effect to 50 in txt without effect

W&T healing over time still works

What is different for me from Classic to 1.0.0.5:

 

  • no sound while consuming W&T consumables (sighs are missing)
  • no onscreen comment that descriptes the heal effect or the arousal rise
  • no W&T heal effect

Slow down effects:

they dont seem to slow down my PC anymore, but there is a high chance its a conflict with DT or SLS or DDi or NDUNinflation or PSQ (even if its not running atm)

but I post it anyway in case its not only me

special in this case is: at the end of the running animation its like the PC gets stopped right on the spot, as if slow down is working but gets overwritten
I keep an eye on that one

The rapist switch chance is a bug I noticed yesterday and already fixed (copy/paste between code segments).

 

Not sure about consumables. Have to investigate.

 

5% slowdown is not really noticable. If you see the spell in the list of effects, it is working. If in doubt use a console command read the PC's movement (e.g. getAV) variable, or use something like the mod called "Status" (mannygt).

If you get the slow down to 15 or 20 percent then you really start to notice.

Not sure how it could. All Apropos is doing is calling a valid method AdvanceStage(False) to move the animation backwards one notch. Any valid SL mod could do that.

will try to add "Parasite Spider Egg" (estrus spider) and rise skooma effect (to see the impact), maybe stuff got renamed by RND and because of german game language, totaly forgot about that

Yes, Apropos is literally searching its list of string names for the consumables and it has to be an exact match.

That's a useful background information. Might with worth  to make it a special point in the how-to part of the mod documentation ?  ? For sure there will be a few more translated/modded Skyrims with different names for items

Excellent, thanks for looking into this. I'm looking forward to your next update, it wasn't until they didn't work properly that I realised just how much they are an essential part of my Skyrim gameplay. ;)

Editing the consumables is not a *introductory* feature, but advanced. The starter list included with the mod as it is today already exceeds what could be done with Apropos Classic, which hardcoded exactly three consumables.

I'm still trying to settle some bugs and merge three databases for a new release, so I don't have time at the moment for a detailed discussion of how everything works, inside and out. Some of the confusion you have described is due to a feature called "Themes" which I will be removing completely in the near future. It has been a PITA, your complaints today a great example.

If you have specific questions, expressed concisely in 2-3 sentences, for for it.

My bad man, forget it, I shouldn't have troubled you with my ramblings, I've just been trying to understand this mod for so long, and my frustration is directed at myself not you, for not being able to get it.

 

You have no idea how long I've desperately tried to teach myself how to work this without having to bother you with needless questions, I just got fed up and ended up going on a silly rant, I hope you understand, I'll leave you to sort out what needs to be sorted out.

 

If it is indeed the themes still being a pain, than I will once again disable them, as I have disabled them for classic and continue to test the new version, hopefully I can offer you something useful in future.

If you are transitioning from AClassic to A2, a new game is advised. Some have tried uninstalling AClassic and cleaning, buy your YMMV.

I think it is pretty smooth. I've run a character from level 0 all the way now to 106, and I check Papyrus log for errors often. I don't see really any errors, nor is Apropos the cause of stack frame dumping.

Was curious if anyone has a custom edit of the database that's themed around the PC being naive to sex and such, also open to other interesting edits people have done as well, if nothing else, just for ideas to spice my database up a bit ;)

The Widgets are working fine with the latest update. Both with a new start and in a cleaned save from Apropos classic. :D 

 

Tomorrow I plan to add all sorts of consumables, breast milk 'cures' feels like an interesting option. :)  Am I correct in thinking that consumables will increase arousal by an equal amount to their damage cure if I have that option selected?

Yes, consumables will increase arousal, but currently unrelated to the heal amount (actually they currently increase arousal by 2.0), but that is an interesting idea.

I can happily report that things are working far better for me since the latest update, thank you gooser.

 

After some more testing of the latest version, it seems the option for "Animation change messages" could be causing a constant stream of messages to appear, I thought this might be intended at first but on orgasm, messages that weren't referring to the end of the scene started appearing, I disabled the option and things started looking more context specific.

 

Lastly, I only mention this because you said themes were removed from this version, but the mcm is still saying they are present, it doesn't appear to be causing any problems though, just being thorough.  mind you, maybe its some kind of save baking thing on my end, who knows, as I said, no anomalies detected so green light. ;)

 

Other than that everything seems...fingers crossed...to be working as intended, Huzzah! :) 

 

Gotta do more testing but it seems even the stage specific messages "might" be working finally too lol.
