What is

"Advanced age scaling"?

 

I looked in the wiki and searched this forum, but didn't find it.  There isn't much in the wiki. Someone could put it there, instead of reply here and then point us to the wiki.

 

"Advanced age" also means "old", but maybe you meant "advanced scaling about age".

Want to not have masturbation errors and use latest version? Use "4.9.5.4"
Want to have almost latest version and also have pregnancy work? Use "4.9.5"

Have an error that mentions sexprops.giver? You are likely using a submod that is not compatible with 4.9.x

For me, the cause of the error was Sexperience. Well, actually is was breaking all autonomous sex behavior (jobs attempting to masturbate, or look for a quickie, etc).

 

On an unrelated note, is there an easy way to disable the whitelist function for which jobs a pawn is allowed to interrupt when searching for a quickie partner? Since quickies use a whitelist, it means it fails to account for a huge number of jobs from assorted mods if you're running many of them, which can end up completely shutting down the ability for people to have quickies. (A few examples being washing clothes or playing the piano). It might be easier if one can simple disable the whitelist rather than having to manually account for jobs from every mod.

 

(P.S., the whitelist should probably also include Play_MusicalInstrument, which is the vanilla job for playing the piano)

By posting a sexperience issue in the general RJW thread, you waste everyone's time (you just love that, don't you), as only the maintainer of sexperience can fix that.

 

Also, from sexperience description:

After installing RJW 4.9.5.4, pregnancy is not working for pawns or animals. I removed all mods except RJW and Mod Manager, and kept all DLC on, still no pregnancy. Bug or is there something I can do?

Turned preg chance to 100%, started naked brutality with 1 random pawn, dev console spawned another rando, RMB forced vag sex. no resulting pregnancy.

Log shows this spammed many times.(deleted multiple in log copy below)

If you don't want to help him that's fine, but you're being kind of malicious by intentionally misleading someone just asking a tech question in good faith. It does exist, and you know what it is, given it's still left in the source included with the game download.

sexprops was used in RJW until just before 4.9.0, when it was disabled. So older mods might be trying to still use it. I think RJW Sexperience is the one that uses it the most extensively, so removing that is the most likely to fix that issue (or try rolling back to an older version of RJW).

Or just use c0ffee's fork of the mod. Look in Skomers mod list post on the first page of this thread.

i only support latest version, and those are either outdated sources for 1.1, 1.2 or comments to code that wasnt implemented

i think they would be able to find an answer if they used search

Pregnancy isn't working for me I have rjw preg turned off but I have children school and learning preg running because i want my pawns to get pregnant even if they aren't female or had an operation. I've been fiddling with the options and sorting mods trying to make sure things are correct.

I followed those instructions how long do i wait till a pregnancy happens? I have the percentage at 100% and I turned off complex species impregnation

Hi, im here to report that pregnancy stopped working since update 4.9.5.1 and it's still not working even on the latest update 4.9.5.4, so my colonist cant get pregnant. I had to revert to an older version (4.9.5) for the pregnancy to work again. I already reinstalled the game and my mods, but still nothing. Tested it on a clear game with only your mod and the problem still persists.

Is the pregante issue happening with animals for anyone else? My stud of a horse doesn't seem able to get my 2 mares gregnant and I think I broke the turn-off switch for animals-on-animals somehow. I can live with colonist prangnency being broke but rancher players would propably prefer their animals fat and pregananant.

So it seems pregnancy only works in RJW currently if you have development mode turned on in RJW debug settings. This is why Ed thinks its fine and everyone else saying it isnt lol.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but Warcaskets from VFE Pirates can't have sex it seems. They go the thing where they go to spot with a partner and then stand for a second and then go back. And while I do sort of get it, being locked in a suit of armor and all, it is slightly annoying for my pawns to walk all the way to the other side of my base only to have a staring context before going back to work. Anyone happen to know of a fix?

Ugh, warcaskets... I also am having this issue, among others... I know a few of my mods are out of date, but I'm in the middle of a long play-though and I dunno if that would even help so I just came up with a workaround

Using QoL in-game I added -100sexdrive to the VFEP_warcasket trait (scroll down, click on warcasket degree and you can add stat offsets), using char editor gave them full sex meter to get rid of the horny thought and them looking for "activities". It's stopped them from running around and just insta-splooging jizz on the floor in every dark corner in my base without getting any satisfaction for the effort. Not an ideal solution, but semi-functional. If they're in a relationship with a normal pawn that pawn will still try to join in bed or drag the warcasket around to do a quickie, repeatedly and fail, repeatedly. The non-warcasket pawn eventually gives up and just jerks themself off.

In my headcannon, whatever makes warcaskets stop feeling pain also makes them not horny now either...
