Crashes in Skyrim VR after I get the SkyUI notification after initialization. Can you make this compatible with SkyUI VR if it's not too much work?

Hey thank you for your hard work.

 

But I have a problem: i cant see other dialog options that "...".

I can navigate blindly und sometimes sex scenes start, sometimes not.

Can anybode help me?

This mod seems to be perfect addition to my Skyrim VR, but as it is it wont work with VR version of the game. Crashes after SkyUI notification. I hope this will be fixed.

Did you save the game after editing a rule? (Just a suggestion - don't know if it's required, but may be if you're using PrivateProfileRedirector)

Yes, it didn't seem to work. The mod itself works fine, it just seems to refuse to save anything once I've quit the game.

I have a issue I think its this mod maybe someone can help.

I used to get a dialogue option of sorts when talking to a NPC, "maybe we should get to know each other a little better" or something along those lines, after sex I would get a relationship bump and a NPC comment "you done well" fresh install, in the main config I have the option turned on for increase relationship asking for sex but no dialogue to ask for it, I'm now using follow me for sex but I don't get the relationship bump. anyone know whats up? everything else works great. no issues at all.

Load order for sl is:
Schlongs of skyrim se 1.1.4

also have the required files for each mod such as JContainers, Papyrusutil, FISSES also made sure they replace the ones that came with other mods so the game is running the versions.

I have a different issue with Scent of Sex.

 

Trying to set it up for female dominant sex, with female as the source and male npc as the target but the female always takes the male's position instead of the female position.

The rule works fine for player controlled characters, but NPCs exhibit the above described behaviour.

 

Tried changing "who plays the passive" to male/female/etc, Nothing changes.

Tried flipping it so that the male npc approaches the target, the animation works, but the male gets tagged as the aggressor, even if I choose the victim to be the source.

 

Anyone have any solution to the above described problem?

The mod looks really promising but there are really a lot of things that don't works or have weird behavior at least on my end.

 

First i have tried to set a rule with Miraak (As lady miraak) and she never appeared in the target list no matter what i tried, simply invisible.

 

Secondly i set a rule on another unique NPC from the mod the deeps and setting the rules worked just fine, a really simple one. When the actor have arousal >= 50 then he force sex on the PC. Anyway it fails 99.9% of time. In fact i even thought it wasn't working at all, but standing close to the NPc with it's cock erected for a long time, while browing web to find what was going wrong, it finally triggered ...

I guess it's cause of the randomness of how it start and this is really disappointing that you can't define this randomness. (At least if you can it's not explained how) So it makes the mod mostly unusable for me as each time you set a trigger rule it won't happen cause waiting for the randomness ... Too bad.

needs some help I can't seem to get any of the .json files to show up. I put them in SKSE\Plugins\Scent of Sex and when I load the game up I don't see anything. 

 

what am I doing wrong

Looks like a lot of folks are having the CTD problem with Skyrim VR as soon as we get the SkyUI notification. I'll throw my hat in as well. This is definitely one of the main missing mods for my playthrough. @CPU or @Pfiffy, any ideas what might be causing this? I'm decent with TESEdit and the CK if you guys think it's something fixable.

 A question for more experienced users.

I want to utilize SSX as an end-all be-all solution for triggering SL scenes outside the dialogues. Mod certainly can do that, wich is impressive. Issue is - well, its not particularly fast. So, is there any way to optimize it? For example, it scans for animations on load for ALL races, is there an option to limit it to select few? Say, no creatures at all?

 Similarly, are there any other measures one could take to improve performance for this one?

 Options for this mod are extrensive, to say the least. So while trial and error is a valid approach, id love to have some starting tips.

Edit: After some fiddling it works as i want it to. Only issue is really long startup after loading a savegame. Still, SSX effectively replaces 3 mods in my load order, wich is awesome.

How on god's green earth do I get this thing to stop spamming my console with "AnimCache" messages?  The LE thread claims you can turn off console messages but no such setting exists that I can find.

Tried this mod.

It keeps saying the actors are scanned. Looking at the logs I can see they are scanned (alias gave me names of people scanned) but nothing happens. I noticed that when I switch SSX off the notifications shows me rule checker updated. This only appears when I deactivate SSX. I'm no modder by any stretch but does this seem like something that should be active also during SSX and if it isn't showing that means the trigger for checking the rules isn't activating?

Is anyone having troubles with using the Specific option and Lakeview Manor as the location? I'll explain. I added a new rule and set Serana as the Source. The gist of the rule is she should approach my character for sex when we're in the Lakeview Manor cell. When I selected Lakeview Manor in the Locations section, it came up as "UNKNOWN" in the left hand column of its MCM page. I don't have any mods affecting Lakeview Manor, so its cell ID or form ID shouldn't change. I also tried setting the Location Type to just "Player Houses" while removing Lakeview Manor from the Location. Either way, the rule didn't trigger even after waiting about 8 hours in-game time.

 

Ironically, two of my rules set to run in exterior worldspaces run just fine. I remember back in LE days that such rules could be problematic while interior based rules would run fine. Thanks in advance and let me know if I need to provide further information.

I did some simple edits to ssxSM to change what is said, but that doesn't change what the options are in interaction settings. Lines are said so I don't care, but has anyone looked into improving the dialogue options here? I don't know if SE supports this but being able to define custom dialogue in game would really take this mod to the next level for NPC-NPC interactions.

This mod seems to be working fine in my game other than the fact that the NPCs don't respect the location settings I have for the rules. Currently have two rules that involve people and both are set to only work in interior cells, but both have happened outside.

Have the same experience. Suspect that the scent's script starts properly, but a participant has somewhere to be getting out the door before being locked in the animation.

It lets you set up rules for when sex happens. For example I've one that is supposed to fire between 10pm and 2am at the bannered mare and if Jon and Olfina are there they head of for some sex. I've seen it fire, but it's also iffy. I've also used it to fire sex for NPCs wearing collars, sort of a substitute for Slaverun's.

 

Advanced use of it does require a bit of knowledge about the Skyrim engine's internals but if you leave it in simplified mode it is relatively easy to set up. One side effect of using this is it taught me a fair bit my first year or two of using it.

how do I set a hotkey for Scent of Sex mod activation/deactivation?

I can't find the option anywhere in MCM, and the default ( X ) both conflicts with iHUD and the fact that I would rather prefer to have iHUD in "X"

edit: nvm, I'm dumb af and couldn't figure out that I had to make a rule first to be able to set the houtkey, sorry!

Crashes my again very soon , no matter if new game or load. Won't use it.
