darchangel891 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 I tried to use this mod in oldrim, but apparently I cant figure out how to make the rules work. CPU, would you be willing to write some rules for me? I will donate to your cause Please please pretty please?

Best you can do is to post a request of what you want to be done by the rule in this thread: There are already a lot of rules available.

Pinute Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Hi CPU, and thanks for endorsing this port to SSE. It was the last 'essential' mod I wanted I have one very simple rule set up for testing - it searches for females wearing zaz gear (hydra slavegirls are the test subjects), has a random male non-follower assault them, and the rule works perfectly. I'm using the alias scanning option. The problem is that when SSX is enabled all the characters around, and my pc, get a temporary green highlighting sometime during the scanning process. I've made sure that I've got highlighting set to none for target, subject, and collaborator. Am I missing a setting somewhere? I'm pretty sure I've examined every mcm page carefully and I can't find anything about highlighting on any of them but for the three npc pages listed above.

As you know, you can disable all highlighting of actors. In case it does not work, try to set up one (maybe different color) and check if it is working or not. Check also cell scan, that is fast in SSE, and let me know if the actors are still highlighted.

Ok, tracked it down finally. I had green highlighting of all npcs near me using all 3 scan types, so I figured it was most likely a PEBKAC (my years on #ubuntu taught me that's the most likely issue ). When I was looking for highlighting I somehow missed the scan highlighting under debug. After I disabled that all was good.
AlStack Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 FYI After restarting a new game all of your mods are working happily. I have not done excessive testing but so far all is well. ?
Sally Sinamon Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Could you explain how the rule priorities work? I have a simple rule active where, if my follower gets very aroused, she jumps on me. Works as expected. But, the priority of the rule doesn't seem to make any difference. Whether I set it to low, high, very high, as soon as the condition is met, the rule triggers every time. If that is the intended behaviour (and it might be) is there a way to add a 'randomness' to the rule? eg rule triggers but only actually fires if you roll 16+ on your D20?

The rule priority is used when multiple rules can apply. Let's say you do 3 rules: For all target is player, for all source is a NPC, no special triggering conditions, but each rule have a specific animation to it. Rule 1 (high priority) -> Vaginal Rule 2 (normal priority) -> Blowjob Rule 3 (low priority) -> Anal Because the rule can trigger in the same conditions one will be chosen based on priorities. So the vaginal anim will play a lot more than blowjobs and anal will play very little.
Sally Sinamon Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Cool - that's pretty much what I'd figured so no need for me to mess with it any more expecting different outcomes. But, when you do come back to update this mod again (I know it's not a priority) maybe a 'randomness' slider could be a feature? So you're in a situation where a rule applies but there's a % chance of it triggering rather than it being guaranteed?

I think only the top one will make the rule guaranteed. All others are some sort of probability. Sadly I wrote this code more than 2 years ago, so I do not remember it perfectly. I also think there is an option somewhere (this is the mod of options) to alter how the rule priority works.
Sally Sinamon Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 There are a LOT of options in the mod - it's entirely possible that I missed something. I will try again. Thx for the replies CPU ^^

cppnnemo Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 I have a problem where the mod is constantly stuck switching between scanning and scene manager, and the animation never plays. Example: I have a rule set up with my follower as the target. Everything seems to work great, the scan starts, finds actors, the actors stop what they're doing and come over to my follower, then the mod starts switching back and forth rapidly between "bypassing scanner, starting scene manager" and "scene manager completed, scanner starting", and everybody just stands around. All relevant animations are present and tested, and all sexlab features work fine outside of this mod. Has anybody run into this before?

I can confirm these rules worked back in 1.4f. I ran this test on a test profile using on only the following mods: Reveal hidden contents Skyrim.esm Update.esm Dawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm Dragonborn.esm SexLab.esm SexLabAroused.esm SkyUI_SE.esp UIExtensions.esp SexLabTools.esp Scent of Sex.esp Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp I tried looking through the scripts myself but I can't make heads or tails of it, hopefully someone here can! I don't suppose anyone can even confirm that they get the same results on their install?
Guest Posted December 15, 2018 Posted December 15, 2018 I started a game with the mod installed and I have a missing_translation_xxx errors for all options. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it? Thanks a lot for the mod!

I recommend uninstall it, play just a little while, then reinstall it. Just ignore the errors you may have for it until you reinstall it.

PS: Will that create orphaned scripts? PPS: What actually happens when you start it before hand? Just curious.

Removing it will, of course, create orphan scripts. But they will get a parent again when you will reinstall it. Save and load a couple of times to remove the orphan scripts.
