A funny thing popped into my head while riding a buzz off of some cheap Cabernet Sauvignon I was drinking; If psychologists and neurosurgeons have little idea of what goes on in the human brain while sober, then they have no fucking clue how the brain operates while under the influence of alcohol or any other drug!

And don't try to tell me blah, blah, blah. Unless you have experienced the high in my head, then you don't know what it is like. We all react at least a little differently to drugs.

To be fair, all of that can be cured with Alcohol consumption.

Have you thought about therapy for your self-loathing?  Christ that's just painful to read.  Even Milwaukee's Beast tastes better than that shit.

?

It tastes better than Budweiser, The be-all Beer, the Dunkin' Donuts Coffee of Beers. Offensive to no one, Inspiring to no one. Utter Milquetoast.

At least it ain't milquetoast!

yes it actually falls into the category of a grade 1 drug....but seeing i can't do drugs anymore,I'll settle for Vodka,Wine to me is a cheap drink so I don't touch it,used to enjoy German and Dutch beers ( Australia's beer's taste like sheep's piss ) plus I had my gall bladder removed so no beer for me

Tequila another favorite

Nothing really compares to high quality Tequila.

Good flavor. Variety. Easy to drink. Doesn't cause hang-over [within reason] and actually has a few health benefits.

El Jimador, Hornitos or Don Julio?

I think they each have good and bad versions. Don Julio definitely has good bottles.

I really like this one:

So a mix of aged and double aged tequila that is cut with agave nectar before being filtered again... just seems more like a mezcal than a tequila.

? Tough choice since I don't drink that much.

Maybe Mojito  ..   :classic_biggrin:mojito.jpg

Tequila is a type of mezcal.

It's the other way 'round.  Mezcal is tequila distilled outside of the Tequila valley but not beholden to the regulations that govern tequila; so they put worms in the bottles and sell it to gringos because we love that shit.

Mezcal is any alcohol made from agave (which includes tequila).

Tequila is mezcal made only from blue agave and within that specific region.

Aside from differences in region of origin, tequila is a type of mezcal (and the regions of production of the two drinks are overlapping).

It's similar to how Scotch and Bourbon are Whiskeys.

Closer to the difference between sparkling white wine and champagne.

You must have had some really bad bottles.

Nah, it's just marketing.  Sparkling white wine is champagne made outside of the Champagne region of France.  Just like mezcal is tequila made outside of the Tequila Valley.

Three Brothers Brewing Co. and S'more Porter. Chocolate flavour beer doesn't sound like it should work ... but it does.

Straight vodka used to be what I "liked". Now I cant even smell that shit without gagging. But hey, I am still not that difficult to please, just pour me some decent whiskey and Ill be happy.
