Devious Devices - Laura's Bondage Shop (16-aug-2025) v3.55 LE & SE

Thanks a lot for the basement!

Just visited it.

Regarding the enchanting and alchemy tables (as well as other decorations mentioned in here...).

I believe it would be awesome if you could implement some quest for decorating it.

Initially having a bed and little else, and having to talk with Laura for buying new stuf for your basement.

She could do that in exchange of some work (like finishing one of her repeteable quests), or she might need help from other people.

(For example: In Unforgiving skyrim you need to buy an enchanting station, Farenggar send you to Calcemo with a "recommendation letter" that it's actually a slave collar, as a sign for Calcelmo for furthering restraining you in exchange of the station.

Obviously don't need to be exactly this, but you get the idea).

Laura is a kind person so, she might just don't have the money, or the knowledge (creating a enchanting station might not be easy) for doing it.

So, this may have already been asked, but would it be possible to add to the mcm chance for On the Clock to ask for bondage and a corresponding value metric for wearing binder and gag? Even chance for sex in bondage percentage unless that is governed by a different mod - if so which one?

Not sure I'm following you, but I believe you are looking for devious interests.

I like that mod because if you don't like it (maybe messing with a quest) you can temporarily turn it off completely from MCM.

No, though I do also have Devious Interests installed on both LE and SE, but the On the Clock repeatable quest. The Captured Dreams (never got to play on my 1st install of LE because DD4 was out before I even played - nice to see it back for both versions) equivalent of a delivery quest. Occasionally the buyer will offer extra reward for wearing extra binds. An (proper - not box) armbinder and a harness gag. You will get extra gold and you can offer yourself in bound sex. Can the MCM add the option to increase percentage chance of getting the extra binds on OTC and can you increase the chance that if offering sex, the client will take you up on it and pay you more for that service as well. Can there also be an option to increase the gold for the bondage and the sex?

Though is the chance for sex acceptance based on another mod? Curious about both of those.

Mods were goofy in the olden times.

But I'm glad those times are gone and we now have powerful, modern tools at our disposal.

True, we can do so much more now but that time was exciting. We were constantly discovering new stuff and I loved that.

One tweak I would make to that recommendation - use IsPluginInstalled("SkyrimVR.esm") instead. GetFormFromFile will spit out an error if the plugin is not loaded.

Oh good one. Thanks. :D

Oooh, an update.

Heh. Interesting plans. I figured that spot would be good to set up a jail door.

Good idea. Though I have to think of some quests for it first.

I could add that option. I prefer not to add too many MCM options but I'll see. Thanks for the feedback.

Does that mean you're finally leaving The Great Valley, Littlefoot?

That's an SKSE64-exclusive function though, so if development was to continue on Skyrim LE, you not only cannot use that method, but have to go the roundabout way of error handling by putting an If statement with GetModByName around the originally recommended solution too.

Good point.  An advantage of GetModByName over GetFormFromFile is that doesn't print a warning message in the log file if the mod (SkyrimVR.esm in this case) is not installed.  Not that that a few warnings are particularly bad (Skyrim generates a lot of them), but it would be one less.  So, the test for VR that works on LE and SE could look like this:

If Game.GetModByName ("SkyrimVR.esm") != 255

     DoVrThing()

EndIf

EDIT:  Replaced none with 255.

Glad you folks exist. A storyteller like me sometimes needs the programmer backup. ❤️

Is there an updated voice pack for 3.53? Most recent I have is 3.52 courtesy of @Mister X

The voice pack thread listing all available ones is seriously outdated and can't be relied on.

Does the cryptic letter after the main quest mean or do anything?

It has instructions for the storyline skip for when you start a new game.

So I uh, can’t find the shop. I’ve scoured south of the city by all the farms and out to the watchtower but can’t even see a map icon.

So what do you expect us to do? The shop has been between Whiterun Stables and the Western Watchtower for more than six years, and works in nearly half a million downloads.

Check your install mate, and re-check if you have all the prerequisites, and the requirements for the required mods.

As you're new to LL, and maybe new to modding: Always install only one mod at a time, deploy, start the game (*), check for errors, quit, next mod. With my new AE game a few weeks ago it took me about 20 hours real time until I had DDs up and running, and I am an experienced mod user since the days of Oblivion.

(*) that's where LAL - Live another Life or Skyrim Unbound come in handy. You start a new game in an minute, and don't have to endure the pesky cart ride again and again.

I see that you're a new member.  Welcome!  In addition to what CaptainJ03 said, if the shop isn't present in your game (one of the images on the mod page shows where it is in relation to the Western Watchtower), that's a good indication that the mod hasn't loaded.  If you are on a game version older than 1.6.1130, you will need BEES to run mods created with newer versions of the Creation Kit.  Otherwise, you're probably missing a prerequisite mod.

Hi, I need help. My game version is 1.5.97 SE. DD version is 5.2 SE. When I used the mod "Laura's Bondage Shop v3.53 SE.7z" with MO2, I can't find the shop.

But When I change the mod to "Laura's Bondage Shop v3.53 LE.7z", the shop appeard.

So I saved the game and change the mod back to "Laura's Bondage Shop v3.53 SE.7z",  but the game give me the message "Laura's Bondage Shop.esp was missed".

If I conntinu to used the mod "Laura's Bondage Shop v3.53 LE.7z", the gameplay experience is really bad because some laura's quest will get stucked and unable to interact with Laura.

This two mod "Laura's Bondage Shop v3.53 SE.7z" and "Laura's Bondage Shop v3.53 LE.7z"  I downloaded from here.

Any one can help me?

Hi, and welcome to LoversLab!  The post immediately above yours might help with the problem you're having.

No, it uses Female Young Eager for Laura. I hate that style.

soooo here I thought this mod was simply adding a shop to buy/sell devices, and now I'm having the hottest moment in any devious quest found on this site (failing to capture jade)

I am in the "A familiar face" quest. I cannot find the 2nd knife. I looked at this thread and it says it's on the 2nd table with the idols but I cannot find it and I looked, very carefully. I tend to be blind and miss things in front of me, so this is probably a dumb question but... where is it?

Alright I loaded back and it was there. Guess something just went wrong. It may also have been conflict with a small mod I removed, but it's all fine now. Finished the quest.

It's a quantum knife. It is and isn't there until observed, which determines its final state. Elementary school-level physics.
