A cooking pot in the shop area, perhaps where the barrels or crates are now, would offer access to cooking without adding a fire in the basement.  Laura has to eat too.

Honorable mention for Submissive Lola. While not a quest mod per se, the Submissive Lola experience certainly feels like a quest.

Yes.  HexBolt8 was a throwaway username that I created with no thought when I came to LoversLab to just download one thing.  For privacy, I didn't want anything close to my Nexus username, especially with attitudes over there being what they were toward this site.  I'd never be active here, so it didn't matter, right?  Well, I got rid of the number but still kept the name recognizable (for about a month after the change, I used the caption "Formerly known as Prince Hexbolt8").

It's the second quest... I initially ignored the one with the sister.


You were then certainly in the mine and then in prison... looking for her after she killed the bandit boss in prison.


Now go to the town's sawmill near the city gate (the one to Helgen)... at the sawmill there is a small lake (or rather "pond")

(the sawmill of the big lake in the north is NOT meant here!)


Now on the SOUTH bank -> go upstream... i.e. against the water current.


The girl is standing under a tree on the bank... you do NOT have to go to the small waterfall... but only to the place where the water flows down over a few stones.

For those like me who got stuck for over an hour. 

She can get stuck on the trail up to the jarls palace. I time skipped to dawn and walked up the trail and she popped out of the wall like a jack in the box.

And bzw it would be really great if you could make an optional place for the shop inside whiterun.  there is enough space beneath graveyard and house of battle born  (ex- maria eden place)  or behind warmaiden and breezehome. a bit fillde because of the civil war fog and machines, but possible.

It is too long ago that i made those house repositions by myself, i put animal mansion into whiterun, and fox club  into windhelm, but i know its not too much work, mostly just the entrance positioner.

I still kinda want it inside but it would introduce a bunch of compatibility issues. Outside seems to work the best.

You could just remove the Drunken Huntsman and put it in its place. It's the same size and... ouch! who needs a second inn anyway? Ouch! damnit!

Have seen this mod for years but never grabbed it until yesterday.  Lemme tell ya, i only blitz through stories when im incredibly interested and while player bondage isnt my thing (npcs though are), i enjoyed this mod.  It had a pretty coherent story and good pacing.  Except origin, that was a pace killer, but when put in context with the author laura's experience i understand why such a dramatic sequence was necessary.  That quest in particular had me feeling very uncomfortable the whole time, because it was probably the best written out of all the quests in my opinion.  Im actually struggling to find some words to write here, i guess i just want to say thanks for giving me a wonderful experience even though it was built on the back of your personal suffering.  A skyrim sex mod is the last form of expression i would have ever guessed for someone to share such a horrible trauma, but you laura owe nobody in this world any fucks, the world owes you that much.

Hi Laura, I love your mod and have played it extensively during the development and enjoyed it a lot. Since I wanted to play the next update I updated the mod, started a new playthrough and everything was as great as I remember (The updates to the dialogue are noticeable improvements). During my previous playthroughs, nothing really broke for me that couldn't be fixed with a quick reload, except for now. I'm playing on SE (1.5.97) and am enjoying the entire quest line again. But when I play the quest where you're supposed to meet/save Nadja at the lake, the marker constantly teleports away from me (Quest: Laura_SR3_Quest. I think). I'm really at a loss as to what is causing this issue, and I hoped I could get some help here. This part of the quest always worked flawlessly and I haven't changed anything about my mod list or load order, besides the update.

 

I used the TLC command once to see if I could see where the quest marker was going and it turns out that it's either Silnis that goes on some underground quest or goes for a refreshing swim (See screenshot). I don't know what I did but somehow I also got a weird questline with it in the journal. Reloading didn't fix the problem.

 

Is this a known issue or is it just me being incapable again (probably😅)? What would be a workaround for this for now so I could enjoy your awesome mod again?

I did the SE conversion on the latest AE loadout - Don't know if that's a problem. Version 1.6.1170.

But I didn't do a full playthrough when I did the conversion - I just confirmed that it ran and the "after main quest skip" worked. If I have time, I'll try doing a full run through to see if it's happening for me too - no promises though; it's long AF lol.

Okay, as promised, I just tested it in Skyrim AE 1.6.1170 and it worked fine for me - no weird markers running around, everyone was where they were supposed to be and I rescued Nadja and completed the stage without issue. Either you need the latest version of Skyrim (which I doubt, since LBS doesn't use SKSE for anything), or there's a conflict or problem with one of your other mods.

Like you said Origin has a rough pace but it's meant to be jarring. You barely have any agency, there are no clear goals most of the time and you never know what'll happen. But's meant that way. That's the rational explanation. I was also in a bad place when I made that quest and it shows. 😅 I haven't played through it in years because I know it'll hurt me.

I am experiencing a really weird bug.  I'm using the SSE version 3.43.  Everything was working just fine, but recently (not exactly sure when) something affected Laura's merchant inventory.  Its completely empty except for gold.  I can sell stuff to her, but there is nothing to buy until I have sold stuff, then it shows up in her inventory for trade.  I have checked her merchant chest and its also empty except for gold and anything I have sold her.  I tried resetinventory but that just reset her gold without refilling the chest with items.  I realize it is probably a problem with the bashed patch (it gave me some kind of exception when I tried rebuilding the patch, hoping that would fix it).  I'm not sure that I changed anything before the problem started though.

Happened to me once - I reloaded a save from a few minutes earlier and it worked fine that time around

After the scene in which the collar kills daubeny and holden, Jade asks me to grab the documents and say "she will free the others"

 

But doesn't move from the cage.

 

Then I go to the bag, door slams, quest icon remain in the bag and nothing happens.

 

Can you let me know what should happen if correctly run? Maybe I can find a work around or something.

iirc correctly, a scene starts where Jade says something like "I'm sorry, I had to do it", and your collar opens the door and discharges on Jade, Then you escape through the tunnel.

Unfortunately, I don't know what would help if starting from an earlier save didn't work. Maybe restarting the entire sequence from before you got dragged to the dungeon?

 

You might also try unlocking the door with a console command if you can move around - but I'm not sure. Actually escaping the dungeon through the tunnel *could* trigger an end to the quest stage, but I don't know. It's likely that the trigger to the sequence is Jade moving to the proper location; if she's still in the cage, that won't happen. You might need to make sure that whenever you reload is a point before the cage is supposed to open.

Already done.

 

I had to wait for the other day because I didn't had any save before getting into the cave.

 

So I loaded just before getting into the collar trap.

 

In my second run game got stuck also on a scene at entrance (where you should automatically move inside the cage) but a reload solved it.

 

Stuff I tried:

 

- open the door by command: won't open it.

- clip out of the room and walk into Jade: can't speak with her.

- sprint bash into Jade for unstucking her: would just walk into previous position inside the cell.

 

Maybe @Laura can give an insight on how to force the quest to progress by command.

 

I don't have more ideas :S.
