Just wanted to say thank you for the amazing mod, the writing and dialogues are really good. Finished the main story last night and I gotta admit, wasn't expecting that at the end.

Try being a nicer person?  Bathe?

 

Or try telling us when exactly you are trying to talk to her and it's not working.  I mean there's like 10 main quests and a couple radiant ones, so we have no idea if you are trying to talk to her during a time when you are supposed to be doing something else, or if you have the stupid voice pack from 3.32 installed, or what.

 

And I swear, if you tell us you don't know 'cause you installed a modpack from Wabbajack I am totally gonna lose my composure and become all kinds of abusive ?

I collected my voes in 1 picture that explains it all ?  (Also SE playthrough finished on DD 5.2 Beta 10, still working fine)

 

 

So Laura doesn't give back any gold when i sell things but Dollmaker does. That should be because of Skyrim's wonky way to deal with maximum amount of gold. But if you were to directly give her gold instead of VendorGoldMisc it should also solve it for every mod that changes merchants gold amounts.

 

I can fix that for myself by changing that number from 6 to 4 for example, but it's not a universal solution for everyone else.

 

Edit: I cut the Dollmaker image from wrong spot... She has 31000 gold.

Whatever you did to your game - it's borked. Laura typically has 22k Gold whenever I sell her DDs that cursed loot keep spawning.

And it's not borked but completely predictable. Because of the 10x richer merchant mods, Laura has over 40k gold. Because it's at the max limits it sticks a vendor's gold there even if you try to sell. So all you need is some ESP changes to lower that max below the magical limit and it will work again.

 

And that is why i suggested in not tying Laura's vendor gold to a multiplier like that but pure gold value which would be isolated from those other merchant mods.

okay, call me daft - we do you install (a) mod(s) that alter the vendors, but don't want it to afflict Laura?

Yes i am wearing the colllar,

me, laura & master is there inside the shop,

i talk to laura about katarina and she denied to take me to the katarina,

nothing happened next,

also i walked behind the counter

Make sure you made the right dish.  Then take it to the person who asked for it.  Then go look up the word "patience".

Yes, even I understood that (I'm not that daft, you know) - but just because one vendor shows a wrong behaviour, that should spill over to another? Why should Laura even care what another shop in another town does? Take the carriage and travel there if you like her better.

They should spawn after using the dagger. There are no conditions attached to them or anything crazy so they should always spawn when you reach that point. Bugs like that are usually caused by an unstable game or a bad save.

Load a previous save and try playing through it again.

That's a weird interaction.

I think I did it that way because speech perks don't affect it when you give it a flat amount. But that could be completely false. It was 4 years ago and I didn't know what I was doing.

Hi,

Playing "Taking Control" and having possibly a bug ??? Anyway, I'm stuck :

After the petsuit moment, which was really great, I have to find a document bag. I found a chest with mead, but it wasn't the right one. Then I got the clue to go to the office, and found the note about the trade. Got back to try ALL the other chests and found nothing. Each time, it's the wrong bag.

I am doing something wrong ? Where's the right chest ?
