Thanks. but unfortunatly this did not help me with my issues. Restraints/ effects are still not being equipped on myself nor any NPC. My gear is stripped, but then nothing.

How can you miss it? If you are heading towards Whiterun from Riverwood:

 

Walk past Honningbrew Meadery

Walk past Pelagio (?) Farm

Keep walking past where you would normally turn to go to the Whiterun Gate

it's the first house on the left

 

If you are coming from Rorikstead:

 

It's the first house on the right after the Western Watchtower

sometimes a picture works better

walked straight out of Whiterun to the point you can drop down by the Kahjiit traders location. on the left side is Pelagio Farm (with windmill) and on the right is LBS.

there are several other mods that put something in that exact same spot, and i have no clue if you have one of them installed, but hopefully the replies to your

post will help you find it easier and faster.

Hey all, anyone getting the issue of a non moving guard in the Origin quest?

 

I had this and did the recommended alpha change that Laura suggested.

 

However once updated i rolled back my save to before i gave the sword back. But when i hand it to her the quest finishes. and Origin does not start.

 

I use the totem and im taken into the dream but nothing happens and only one npc can be found.

 

Currently using latest DD and using Skyrim SE (Updated to AE)

 

Have not had any issues with the mod till this section

Hey yall, just tried out this mod for the first time and for some reason, Laura wont speak. I can go inside the shop, but she responds with a phrase like the generic NPCs do. Am i missing something or is it just buffed?

Did you by chance start a new game, never exited and relaoded? That was the only time I had this issue (which has been reported from time to time). So try to leave the shop, leave the game (exit to desktop), re-start, re-enter. That helped in my case.

If not, re-check (maybe even re-install) the requirements for this mod (DD5.1, Fuz-Roh-Dings, whatever)

I have installed Fuz Ro, and its worked decently well with other mods. Strange issue, but im hopefully gonna keep throwing fixes at it until it works.

So no matter what I do, the leg chains have no textures. I've reloaded the textures from the assets pack, from the main core pack, everything, but no matter what, the leg chains turn up with no textures at all from day one of installing Devious Devices and Laura's Bondage Shop. How can this be fixed?

That sounds like a DD issue, since LBS does not have unique leg chains in regards of textures. You need to sort out your DD install, if you need further help with that, you should take it to the DD thread.

Is this a SE install? I think mine have been broken forever and I can't ever remember it working (they're always purple), maybe another mod overwrites them and I never caught it.

I'm on AE and I got the guard to move with the Alpha test version, but Sloane's husband never spawns still.  Any insights that I couldn't glean from the thread to make it work?  Thanks for the amazing mod! Origin questline of course.

have you check the version of your Devious Device mod. I encountered the same problem and I fixed it by update Devious device to the latest version

I reinstalled all mods, the problem seemed to be worse, after I talk to  Xayah, the Game CTD.

I really want to play the quest after, could anybody do me a favor to tell me how to fix it or just skip the 2nd quest?
