This look like a fun mod, but unfortunately I get the invisible outfit thing, and I have no idea how to use bodyslide (preset tab is empty). A shame.

That most likely means you haven't installed the UUNP or CBBE body and the presets that come with them in the bodyslide installer, or are using a body and preset that is not compatible with DD. Since it's most likely a bodyslide install issue, you should take this to the appropriate topic, LBS has nothing do with it as it uses the items you need to build for DD anyway.

How do you get out of Sirrina's Metal Yoke?  The dude agreed to release me, but left me in the yoke, I stole the key and freed Sirrina, but I'm still stuck in this thing, and trying to unlock it is proving to be futile.  Did I bug when he let me go?

the key should unlock it, but it may take a bunch of tries to do so.

1 time got it 1st attempt, another time it took 27 attempts, and a 3rd time it took so many attempts i was about to give up when it worked.

(it does also depend on your DDI settings for how easy it is to reach the lock with the key).

if you DDI settings are default it should (probably) work in the 5-30 attempts range, but of course you are dealing with Skyrim's RNG so YMMV.

Try this.

Open console, select Xayah.

Go down the stair right there and go to the room on the right, where she should send you to.

Use console command "moveto player", teleport her to you.

Talk to her normally there.

It did not fix it.
I walked into the room in question, the leftmost room on entrance level, and she was sitting there on a chair. I then opened the console, moved her to me and talked to her.
The same thing as before happened then, the potion message pops up, I click "OK", my character is stuck, Xayah walks off. Both the inventory and menu are still accessible and I've had other mods equip DD devices on me before on that save, so DD should work (assuming that she is supposed to strip/bind the player).

This is a story driven mod, and good content doesn't write itself. Making mods is hard work, making good mods even harder, making good mods with an interesting story a nearly impossible task which Laura did very well. The story is, as you obviously have noticed, not completed. It is in development, and if you've botherd to read one or two pages in this thread, you should have noticed.

Please go back to the rock in the woods under which you seem to have lived. There will be a notification when a new versioncomes up, no need to bother the author with such profanity.

I've, best as I can tell, installed everything right.....but I cannot figure out how to get laura to let me buy stuff... All she does currently is give a generic shopkeep voice line and that's it. No menu opens.

If you have started the game through ASLAL, see if saving your game, exiting and reloading solves it.

I had similar problem before. The issue was with Fuz Ro D-oh. If you have downloaded the mod recently (like in the last half year), then it's possible you have downloaded AE version instead of SE version. You have to download version 1.7 which is in old file section on nexus.

So, i'm having a bit of an issue with a gag called 'Tough Harness Ring Gag' 4308C7E2. Says it uses a standard key to be removed, but despite every key i've tried with item grabber(even tried using console commands to remove it. I know this is a bad thing to try, but just wanted to test it), plus buying keys from Laura, amongst other things.  I cannot get it off despite all efforts. I am not sure where this issue lies, or if i'm overlooking something vital, but it has become quite the problem for me to figure out. I tried reading through sseedit to see if maybe I can find the key needed through there, but i'm not the best at reading these things, and I couldn't quite find any key to be mentioned in it either, other than laura's secret dummy key, which i'm not sure what is. So i'm truly uncertain as to what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm on SSE. Only thing that I can think of could be bugging out would be Deviously cursed loot, but I can't imagine it would be the problem. I like the mod though, so i'm hoping its not a bug and just me overlooking something.

Which quest put this item on you? It should be okay to remove it with DD or DDe, IF you have no active quests or mods that are using DD items?

LBS uses standard Devious Devices restraints.  If you can't remove something it's due to an issue with DD, not LBS.

 

Laura's secret key opens things like the bedroom door.  Basically if you want the "you need the key to open this" message you have to create a key to go with the lock.  You don't have to place or use the key, but it has to exist.  A dummy key is a standard trick to lock off areas you don't want accessed until later because it prevents lock picking.

Laura's secret key opens almost all of the things her mod equips.  When the automatic unequipping of things like the stuff that Jade puts you in when you try and fail to catch her fails, you can remove it with her key.  There is one set that this doesn't work on and I forget which it is atm.    But if the gag that @Tayte is having trouble with is from this mod, Laura's Secret Dummy Key might be the solution.  (Unless the Tough items are the ones it doesn't work on. I can't remember.)

I didn't start any quest as far as I know. I think deviously cursed loot put it on me, but i'm honestly not sure. I just know its from Laura's bondage shop by checking its ID and go to sseedit to find it. I also asked one of the people from devious devices, and they just told me it wasn't from theirs, so they weren't sure what to do. I can see if I can find this dummy key. Seems to be the only solution I can think  of right now...

Thanks for all the replies. Its very appreciated. I will likely figure it out. Maybe there's a logical reasoning behind it i'm missing, but there's also a chance that deviously cursed loot gave me a quest item or something by randomness, and its messing it up? We will see. I got a little more info to work with now.

I have found out that if I use deviously cursed loots debug menu for ALL items(including quest items), I can get it off, but it will remove my current quests from that mod. Which is the downside of using that method.

tough leather harness ring gag is from LBS, and according to TES5Edit the secret dummy key should remove it.  you will have to add the key

either through console or a mod like Add Item (lets you add items similar to console but by specific esm/esp).

Issue is that if Laura_ToughLeatherBlindfoldInventory get enough time to be locked before WornHasKeyword is called, it will get immediately unlocked and gag will be locked back. I have found it because my mode UD reworks the Lock/UnlockDevice to be blocking, so the thread only continues after the device is fully process. Because of that, this was causing the device to get swapped and then swapped immediately back.

For now, I created a patch which only modifies the code in the following manner:

To some extent, this is an issue with my mod, but it didn't take much creativity to see that this can also cause issue for users which have slower computer. If you intend to fix this issue directly, let me know, and I will remove the fix from my mode.

They're not meant to be taken off with a key because they're used in quests. So the quest it's from should handle it for you.

If you're sure there's no active quest, use the secret key like the others said.

 

If you find out where it's from, let me know. If it's a quest that failed to unlock it. I want to fix it.

I'm having issues with the 'Origin' quest.  The guard doesn't want to move me to the new cell.  I saw this was mentioned earlier in the thread, and was being looked into, but I don't think it has been fixed as of yet.  Any ideas on how to proceed?  I can't seem to find the questID to just force the stage or force complete the quest.

 you can move yourself to the new cell and teleport the guard in front of it it will work this way, that's what I did

I haven't checked this mod in a very long time, I thought it was abandonned, but I was delighted to see it was updated with new story quests! This mod is my favourite, the writing is simply excellent so thank you Laura for your work. I had a blast doing the main quests.

 

I'd like to mention a bug I noticed, when in Glenne's dream, waiting in the new cell for Sloane and her husband to arrive, the husband actually never arrives. I had to noclip my way out of the cell, find the husband stuck in the basement and teleport him next to Sloane in front of the cage to have the scene progress.

Otherwise, the playthrough went smoothly (except the little bug in the same quest mentionned also in the post above, but solve the same way).

I can't wait to continue looking for this perfect girl

I apologise for not knowing how to shorten quote replies. I do not have any active quests from Laura's bondage shop. I never even entered the place yet before I had this issue, and i'm very certain its due to a problem Deviously cursed loot just looking for bdsm tags when it puts a randomised devious device on you. In this case it just happened to be the quest item from here unfortunately. I did try to spawn in the key. Unsure if I did it wrong, but I can't get it to work. I think i'm forced to get it off the old fashion way of removing both item ids via console. Even though its usually encouraged not to, but I can't really figure out another solution to this. It's quite a head scratcher for me. There's the likely case i'm also just doing it wrong somehow. I am definitely not the best at modding. I wish I had kept a save before I got the item, but getting randomly equipped bdsm stuff is usually quite normal to me when using the deviously cursed loot mod, so I didn't think it would be permanent this way or even think twice to look it up. So I have put a ton of hours in, before I realised that this one item wasn't getting off like the rest.




I also have an additem plugin and for some reason its not on the list
