Oh thank you. I'm gonna test that real quick. I'm definitely a dummy when it comes to these things.

So I have retried the Origin quest multiple times.  I have moved the guard up there, which spawned Sloane and Darius in the building, but they refuse to move.  I've moved them to outside of the cell multiple times, and they will not pick up the script.  I am running the AE version of Skyrim..  Any thoughts?

I apologise for not knowing how to shorten quote replies. I do not have any active quests from Laura's bondage shop. I never even entered the place yet before I had this issue, and i'm very certain its due to a problem Deviously cursed loot just looking for bdsm tags when it puts a randomised devious device on you. In this case it just happened to be the quest item from here unfortunately. I did try to spawn in the key. Unsure if I did it wrong, but I can't get it to work. I think i'm forced to get it off the old fashion way of removing both item ids via console. Even though its usually encouraged not to, but I can't really figure out another solution to this. It's quite a head scratcher for me. There's the likely case i'm also just doing it wrong somehow. I am definitely not the best at modding. I wish I had kept a save before I got the item, but getting randomly equipped bdsm stuff is usually quite normal to me when using the deviously cursed loot mod, so I didn't think it would be permanent this way or even think twice to look it up. So I have put a ton of hours in, before I realised that this one item wasn't getting off like the rest.




I also have an additem plugin and for some reason its not on the list



EDIT: Taki figured it out for me. I just wrote the command wrong like a dummy. Apologies for the inconvenience.

This is a known issue with SE. And AE seems to be even worse. There's a fix by aurreth somewhere but I didn't save the link because I'm a moron.

The fixed version from aurreth:

You'll have to roll back to a save from before you started Origin, and there's a scene where you have to disable and enable the husband before it will start.

Kinda a weird issue but laura's shop inventory is empty when i go to buy and sell things to her. She has gold jsut no items.

So I've tried the other patched file, and while it does get further along in the process.  Darius refuses to do anything, I've disabled / enabled him.  I've reset his AI..  Initially he won't appear at all, his NPC ID is strange compared to Sloane's, but the script keeps telling Sloane to speak, and she's responding to Darius's comments, but he isn't actually saying anything at all, or doing anything.  It gets to the point where you go to bed after cooking the raw meat for him, and then nothing.  They just stand there or Sloane lays in bed.  I do not understand what I'm doing wrong, and I'm getting extremely frustrated with testing it.  Not that it is Laura's fault at all.  I blame Bethesda in all cases, cause the game was broken to begin with, and mods and stuff are just band-aids on broken code.    As we all know:

Try waiting 3 days outside the shop. That should reset her inventory.

Some extra issues popped up with the release of AE and i'm not 100% sure what's going on. It's also extra difficult because I don't know what people's installs are like. It's really tricky to isolate an issue when there are so many variables.

By the way, with which quest did you have this issue?

If you installed the patch and loaded a save before the quest starts, it should work. But it's Skyrim we're talking about.

Still, troubleshooting other people's issues can be super frustrating. As much as I like the blame Bethesda, it can also be my mod or some weird stuff in people's installs.

 

If you haven't already, load a save before the quest starts and try it again a few times. If that still doesn't work, post the papyrus log.

Okay, so part of this was my fault, cause I missed the line about it having to be /before/ you start the origin quest.  I had already started it, but didn't touch the totem at that point.  I managed to get further in, after Darius says that Hinde tried to escape, but now when I try to sleep as the quest tells me, My character refuses to get out of bed.  If I hit any key, she stands up like she would get out of the bed, then lays back down immediately.  I just enable papyrus logging, but it didn't create a log after I closed the game.  I'm pretty skyrim stupid when it comes to stuff, but I'm fairly certain I enabled it correctly?

That's the point where you have to go into freecam, and disable and enable the husband in order for it to progress.

He came into the cell though.  They said a few lines, and she told me to put something nice on.  THAT's the point of re-enabling him?  Seems awkward.

When you are in bed and unable to move you are waiting on Doran to come in.  Not Sloane's husband Darius, Glemme's (your) husband Doran.  The guy who was paralyzed in the inn at the time you were kidnapped.

 

Due to some issue I haven't been able to nail down he's showing up in the house glitched.  Depending on the version of the mod you are using he will either be stuck one floor down or he'll be lying on the floor outside the bedroom, still paralyzed.  Usually the latter.  This is where freecam comes in: turn it on, find DORAN, disable/enable.  That should unstick the scene.

Hey guys Lauras shop doesnt have anything in it for me, seems like all of her other stuff works right. tried waiting in whiterun for a couple of days to to try and reset the stock but it didnt do anything, any ideas?

Have you by chance started the game through ASLAL and haven't yet reloaded or restarted the game?

Thanks guys figured it out, was either bashed patch or aslal, just tried changing both at the same time and it worked,

 

P.S. as a side note not entirely related to this mod do you guys know why some armbinders/elbowbinders are invisible? i only have this problem with arm/elbowbinders that ive seen so far, and some of them do work too (and yes ive done a batch build in bodyslide)

First order of business would be checking which exactly are not working, double checking if they are from DD itself or a mod that uses DD, and if you happen to use a custom race that, it might be set to use the armors from a basegame race that are not supported by DD. However it's more of a DD-related issue, so you'd better ask in the respective thread and post your findings there.

Doran is bugged.  He's lying on the floor outside of the bedroom paralyzed.  I've tried a few different methods to fix him and can't get it to work.  You can use the console, tfc, move the camera to where you can see him, then use the console again to target him and disable/enable.  That usually fixes it.

Hey, I was doing the locked away quest, went to get the belt removed. Laura moved over to the cage, but then she just stands there and nothing else happens. This a common bug people have runned into? If so, how do you fix it?

Elaborate. What exactly is going on? When Laura sends the player to the cell, she'll wait outside until you go in, then locks the door and the scene proceeds.

 

Other info needed: game version, mod version, Fuzrohdoh version
