Here is how: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/articles/368/ Attach the log file you get after a play session in which you have experienced an issue. Reload a save from before you have started the quest you are on, and install this version: The changes contained therein are supposed to address the issues with the quest many are experiencing on SSE, and more feedback is required. (btw @Laura you may want to consider pinning it in the 2nd comment of the thread for the time being) 2

Game version? SE (1.5.97) or AE (1.6.353)? I've already noted an issue with Doran and 1.6.353, having to do with his paralysis causing at least one scene to freeze. A possible fix for the 3.32 Alpha Test @Taki17 linked to is posted on this page of the thread. 1

Real-life time constraints aside, this main story line deals with serious, intense topics and situations. To write convincing characters with actual personalities, a major draw of this mod, the author is forced to place herself in the mindset of those characters. It's physically and emotionally draining, which means Laura has to take frequent breaks from writing if she wants to maintain the high quality of the NPCs. The best thing people can do to help get the next installment out is to provide accurate, concise bug reports. That way those of us who have volunteered to provide technical support can work to verify and fix mechanical issues, letting Laura worry about the story. Reports should include: Version of Skyrim: LE, SE (1.5.97) or AE (1.6+) Version of mod being used (stop making me ask you if you are using the tznvlw SE version or the Alpha Test from page 207). A description of the problem encountered. 2

Looking at the release cadence it is about a year between chapters. Laura tells me she is about halfway, so we're likely talking next summer at the earliest, depending on real-life. It probably doesn't help that I keep distracting her with stupid ideas. ?

Yeah, I had a ton of ideas myself. Can't wait for a chance to go full dragonborn on that "Mistress" bitch^^ Nobody locks me up without dying later. Edited February 4, 2022 by xyzxyz

Hence the subterfuge in Valkenheim, rather than, "Would you mind terribly killing all the slavers in the cave and rescuing the girls? Oh, and grab their ledgers while you're there." 1

That kind of bothered me so far^^ Maybe valkenheim was to not endanger the girls befor the player could save them. Playing as a no-name slave is not my style.

Running up to Slone and putting a knife through her heart after splattering 11 thousand billion minions outside the boss room would be the basic bitch revenge story I hope LBS avoids committing to, both for narrative and gameplay reasons. Something along the lines of humbling her by dismantling her operations, scattering her mercenaries, and setting enough of her slaves free to completely cripple her business in order to not have her be a credible threat anymore would be much more fitting - naturally, with the contribution of the majority of ingame Laura's new existing allies. Having the ultimate outcome be that they don't need to be afraid of-, and beholden to Sloane no more would send a much more powerful or inspiring message. Edited February 4, 2022 by Taki17 4

Destroying her operations and maybe humiliating her first would be nice. Her violant death is just my endgoal. For me most important is to not humiliate the player character herself.

For me most important is to not humiliate the player character herself. I get what you're saying. All of the slavers simply see their slaves as nothing more than nameless sex objects, to be trained and played with, and slave owners are usually no better. The whole reason some of us play video games is so we can feel important in a world where we're nothing, and not having our status as heroines and heroes is a bit of a blow to that. Not only that, but imagine somebody tells you you're cute, and you give her the most precious look you can muster as she clips a collar around your neck to bring you home to be her pet. Then she finds out you're the Dragonborn, and then you're treated as a prized pet. Sometimes, a little acknowledgement for your incredible status goes a long way. As for the violent death, if it ends up not being an option, just think of it like this: after being stripped of everything when all she knew was a lavish lifestyle, Sloane dying rather than living the rest of her life with nothing, maybe even less than nothing, would be a mercy.

Robmonster13 Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 I was looking through my Papyrus log to see if I could find any reason why I've been having a CDT when traveling on the road to Riverwood and noticed these entries. I know this has absolutely nothing to do with my CDT issue but wanted to ask if these are normal entries for me to find in my log. The entries are: [02/05/2022 - 06:28:49AM] WARNING: Property LauraBondageShopFaction on script laura_sr1_questscript attached to Laura_SR1_Quest (3E0F2598) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property [02/05/2022 - 06:28:49AM] WARNING: Property FortHraggstad02 on script laura_sr1_questscript attached to Laura_SR1_Quest (3E0F2598) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property I am playing on LE and just started a new game so I have not even made it to Whiterun to find Laura's shop yet.

As @Taki17 says these don't cause crashes. This is some strange quirk of the CK where it thinks properties that have been removed (from both the script and the quest) are still there. I'll try to remember to correct it the way Taki says before the next release (Laura doesn't want me patching the ESP right now while she is working on stuff).
PubliusNV Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 I seem to be stuck in the Origin quest. I'm using LBS v3.32 SSE Alpha test verion - fixes by aurreth, installed long before I started the Origin quest. My PC is naked and chained in a cell on the second floor, and has been told by Sloane that she should cook a dinner and join Sloane and Darius for dinner. However, the quest objective just says to sleep, and the only action I can take that moves her (either E or Z key) causes her to simply get out of bed and then get back into bed. Several in game hours have passed with me just looking at her on the bed and nothing happening. I've tried using T to wait for an hour, then another hour, and then again until morning, and still nothing is happening. Any suggestions for how I can get unstuck? Thanks.

Use the console, tfc, then move the camera outside the bedroom. You should see him lying on the floor. Use the console to target him, disable, enable. He should then get up and continue the scene. I posted a possible fix to the script on the previous page (220), but to use it you have to go back to a point before Origin starts, i.e. before returning Glemme's sword. EDIT: I have my suspicions as to what causes this. One of the Creation Club thingies that comes with AE makes changes to paralysis spells. I suspect that, even if you don't have that particular content (i.e. you are using an upgraded SE, not actual AE), Bethesda made changes to increase compatibility with it. Edited February 5, 2022 by aurreth
PubliusNV Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 You're right, Doran is lying on the floor. However, disable/enable just left him still lying on the floor. I have a save from before giving Glemme her sword, so I'll try installing your script. Thanks! 1

Lemme know how the alternate script works out. As far as I know no one but me has tested it. Oh, and be aware Doran will probably end up on the wrong floor, so there may be some extra delay while he finds his way upstairs and maneuvers around everyone else standing in the way. You can actually tfc and watch him make his way. If the script works I'll see about adjusting things so he ends up in the correct spot to begin with. Edited February 5, 2022 by aurreth
PubliusNV Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 I installed your new script in MO2 and it shows that the script is correctly overwriting the one in the mod. I then loaded my game from before giving Glemme her sword, and started the quest. I got the the same point again, and doing a TFC showed Doran with his ass and legs sticking up out of the floor rather than lying on it as I saw before. I tried the disable/enable and now he's lying on the floor with a kind of a green fog around him like a magic effect. Still doing nothing.

That's the problem, something has changed that is keeping it on him, even when he's been disabled/enabled. Try targetting him and using recycleactor. He'll probably return without clothes, if you care about that you can use disable/enable to reload his outfit. Also go into your actual game Data/Scripts directory and check the date on the script to confirm it's using the new one.
