Can someone help me? I'm in the Origin quest, just followed the guard up stairs and I'm in the new cage. The lady walks in but it never goes any further, I've tried waiting, reloading a save , and the bed in the cage won't let me interact with it. I'm just lost looking for a way to progress.

SE conversion, getting stuck both in controls and quest progression after Holden puts me into cage with other slaves, stage 190. Cage door won't close. All aliases are on place, tried restarting the quest twice (on the same save).

Same once put in bedroom cage nothing happens after she enters the room

Just finished tracking down the 3rd girl, Njadi, and everything is working fine with one exception - Silisus' body kept teleporting across Skyrim - thanks to Arvak I finally managed to catch up with it West of Whiterun in a giant's camp.

so i have tried a few different things to get the dialogue to trigger but nothing is working so as is once i am taken to the bedroom cell and Sloane walks in she just stands there not doing anything

Are you using SSE?

Also, please post the papyrus log. Maybe there's a clue in there.

Is the save you're using old? Have you installed and uninstalled a lot on that save?

no nothing happens i am stuck in the cage Sloane stops a bit back from the door and just stands there its like the trigger for her to start talking does not work. so im basically just trapped i cant do anything no crashes or anything just stuck

Um, I am on the origin quest and Laura is sleeping on a bed downstairs and is busy and I can't complete the quest I have multiple save before I return to the shop but either the same results occur or sometimes Laura is teleported to where the last scene where she is taken outside with Darius in the dream but I don't know how to progress the story in the origin quest I love the questline and the mod but that is a bug I ran into.

No I can't talk to her because she is busy and she just sleeps on the bed downstairs I don't know how to post the papyrus log, but I do like the mod though

I'm not sure what causes this. It's not something that came up during testing. Please post the papyrus log. Maybe there's a clue in there.

At what point in the quest is this? Is this in the shop or in the house?

I'm on origin where the dream is finished and I have to go back to the shop I'll try reloading during the house and see if it works again.

Save was old somewhat dirty, so I've started a new one with minimum mod initialization. Got through all quests 1 by 1 only skipping movement with movetoqt command, problem appeared again.

for the people stuck in the upstairs bedroom with Sloane doing nothing in front of the cell's door, when the guard brings you there, you can simply disable/enable Sloane through the console and the scene will continue.

 

Note about that cell: during the time controls are enabled, you can activate the chair at the desk OUTSIDE the cell to magically escape the cell. You can get back in through the chair in the cell the same way, but remember that magical transport technology of that kind is not yet approved by the mages of winterhold.

 

That aside, i'm having consistent CTDs a couple seconds after reappearing in dragon bridge at the end of the dream. i can usually play without crashes so having this one repeat is weird.

Usually located here on your computer: ...Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\Logs\Script

 

Provided you have it activated in the ini file.

 

Locate your Skyrim.ini file, open it in a text editor (any will do), locate the Papyrus section, and then set all 4 values to "true" (ie =1) if they are set to "=0". This is what it should look like:

bEnableLogging=1
bEnableProfiling=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation=1

 

(NOTE: the ini file locations depend can depend on your setup. if using MO2, and if you have profile ini unchecked, they're usually also in the documents folder)

 

Word of advice though, IF and when you do have to share a log to ask for help in troubleshooting issues, please "attach" the log to your post, and don't copy / paste it, as it is a lot of text.

 

Also of note, if you are also experiencing CTD's, might be a good idea to get and set up Netscript framework from Nexus (use SSE Engine Fixes instead of DDL Plugin Loader for requirements), as this will also generate a crash log which can help troubleshoot CTD's in most cases.

Well, after starting a new save on Skyrim legendary edition the origin quest after I finished the dream sequence inside the house I have to go to the shop again but for some reason Laura and katarina walk outside the shop near Helgen.

Looks like I got to do another new save file again I’ll keep trying this origin quest to see if I can beat it on the Skyrim legendary edition of the game.

Use wait until after 8 am? I got it continuing easily that way. Maybe the other npc was still running to shop.

Just finished this earlier this afternoon, and I couldn't talk to Laura either.

 

At least not until after Sona and Katarina had finished talking, and then Sona finished talking to Laura.

 

You just need to wait until after all the other NPC's have finished their scripted dialogues.

 

Eagerly awaiting for the continuation, at which point I will install Cities of the North, Warbird's Whiterun Metropolis, and Deviously Cursed Loot. Then start a brand new playthrough.

 

 

Addendum: Just got back to playing after taking a break to watch SailGP and noticed that all of my saves post-totem (Origin Quest) are now disassociated from my character and only show up in the 'Show All Saves' menu.

 

Running latest 3.32 Beta version on SE
