Well something like followers you would just have to go to a download tabs like http://www.loverslab.com/forum/38-downloads-skyrim-non-adult-mods/ depending on what game it is for and if it is adult or not and click the Go To File Browser & Uploader tab that is at the top and upload the files there is a size limit for files that you upload. Since they are follower mods you don't need permission unless you are using another persons resources then you would have to get their permission.

You know weaselheart, I don't see why they banned you, unless they were the ones who were homophobic, or whatever. I thought they (the pics) were really good work in a unique way and manner. The ones with Tsun and Heimskr got me to laughing really hard. You have a talent so keep up the good work.

Oh that I know, I'm talking about DLC required resources without an ESP as they're just meshes using DLC textures (so if they don't have the DLC, they're not gonna have pretty things). I know how to upload, that's the lovely thing about the site, it's pretty user intuitive. :P

Well if they don't have the DLC all that is needed is to post that on the download page that the mod requires this DLC or your game will CTD and you will be good to go. You will probably still get the the lazy I don't read the page trolls before downloading.

Popular mods generate clicks and revenue for D0rk0ne. Simple as that. They just let it slide in that case.

I thought that at first. But one of those two persons I know that was warned for endorsement requests has (well, had...) many popular mods with thousands endorsements. I don't know what to thinnk... I always thought modding sites were unaffected by lobbying systems, I still hope so.

That's the thing, it's not an esp. They're meshes. No plugin files, no esm. So there's nothing going on with CTDs. Just white/purple globs of mess. However I think that there's a place for that in which I'll send messages around to see what the protocol is on meshes that are DLC dependent so I shan't derail the thread on this instance any further.

Back on topic, A.J., which modders are you talking about? If you don't mind my asking of course. Cause the ones I've been seeing that still have it have 10,000+, no moderator warnings or anything throughout the 129 pages (unless it's in the ban thread, then if you have one specific you may have to point me to it xD ). Downloads are through the roof. They're the most popular modders out there, or the most popular mods that are being downloaded with some even reaching above 3 million downloads. Not only do I think that Derp0ne is using that to his advantage, I also think he knows that the majority of the Nexus would leave if people like Hothtrooper44 were to be banned. Either way, the princess loses his money, traffic, and/or boasting material on the internet. While it wouldn't KILL his site, it'd definitely kill a major part of the Skyrim side there. Pretty sure this is why they have stricter rules on people who aren't so popular. Derp's reasoning? No one will miss them because they aren't popular. The more I've thought about it, the more that gvman3670 hit the nail on the head.

The one who had that sentence in big letters... uh I don't recall exactly, I often randomly surf on many pages. It had something like 4500+ endorsements and it wasn't a brand new mod. Probably a texture replacer, it's what I'm looking for in these days.

While the other mod I'm comparing, which had to remove that sentence... no I would prefer not to name it, but let me tell you it was quite appreciated these days, it had many hundreds of thousands downloads and many thousands endorsements. The modder had three main mods online, these days, they all were very endorsed, that's essentially where my concern comes from, at this point I don't really know if it's only an income/click/revenue thing or it's more a matter of sympathy, or moon, or weather changes... Same for the LL on credits who was written some weeks ago in (this?) thread, concerning Merida hair, that confuses me too, I don't know if it's only a matter of visibility for them. I mean, I never had objections or changes on my page (well, excluding the first page picture, mine was too dark and they changed it on their own). Of course FONV has 10 times less visibility than Skyrim, but they saw my page because they changed the picture but didn't touch the credits. Still, I stuck on home page for almost a month. Anarchy in FONV section? maybe.

Awesome comics and thanx to this and threads like it I fully understand how to avoid getting banned from "The Nexus"

(BTW has someone tried asking Paramount to question their use of the name, I mean it was popularised by a Star Trek film)

a friend got banned for piracy because he stated that people should have the right to modify what they pay for. even after he sent his product key and receipt to the mod. which i thought was pretty crazy considering the morals those mods have, they prob used it themselves. guys name was acegoober i believe.

Probably for shits and giggles. Much like that crab mod that made crabs all yell curse words at people.

The Gestapo were banning usernames disparaging them, and now we have "mods" that try to test their tolerance.

The dirty word mods has now changed to Project Naughty Word For Excremement but the description still has Project S.H.I.T. revolutionizes Skyrim's audio with new audio such as: talking animals, singing centurions and general funny things. (Project S.H.I.T. is nowhere near full release; in its current state only a few animals have had their new audio added). http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53465/?

LOL you got banned? Skyrim's content is far more offensive than your drawing...I'm with you on this one. A lot of moderators who deletes stuff on the Nexus don't really know what they're doing. You did give a warning about the content and provided links instead right? I find that ridiculous

Ok, I guess this story will sound familiar to some of you...

A couple weeks ago, when the Ethereal Elven Overhaul was released or so, I decided to share some fun and love for skyrim with the Nexus community, by uploading 3 parody strips i did relating "Skyrim Most Annoying Characters"...

These strips got a really unexpected good reaction from members, who shared some of the kindest words none of my shitty drawings have ever gotten...And ppl were looking forward to see more entries...

The next day, I had even more messegas, really got me cheared up while it lasted, but then...I get called homophobic, just beacuse the fictional character i drew on the strips called a character "gay gargoyle", and all the sudden, my strips got tagged and targeted as offensive...

It didnt take too long for a forum moderator to enter swinging his cock, and deleting the thread even before having the chance to keep in touch with all the people that liked the strips, since he completely deleted, claiming that people complained that it was ofensive, and that it was posted to the wrong forum...

I can absolutely agree with the second part, and respect the first...if it offended someone, shouldnt be up there where everyone can see it...So i simple re-posted, not including drawings, and apologizing for any inconvenience or offense, and giving my deviantart link for those who actually liked my strips, to keep in touch...

Then, i got account banned...yes...just for posting something most of the community appreciated, and not even including the pictures, but just a link warning viewer discretion...

So i did a new account, and told him, he just needs to IP ban me, to make my day, since all i wanted was to keep in touch with the people that liked the strips, so he didnt hesitate, and IP banned me...

So you tell me if that isnt a dick move, or a personal move...

Here are the strips that got me banned for good...

Thanks for those who actually took your time to read this, and please, give me your thoughts...if you dont mind

i find am funny if anying :D and ip ban is ezyel taken away if u know how just reset router for instance and it shodl be fixed :)

I don't know. I'm still leaning toward gvman3670's reasoning. Even more so when most of the mods I was talking about was hundreds of thousands of unique downloads (not total) as well as several thousand endorsements as well. The main thing is, is that regardless, the Nexus obviously pays it's bills with ease. That kind of hosting space isn't free, premium accounts aren't enough alone to keep the bills paid, so ad revenue is the next thing I'm looking at. And with the numbers on the Nexus, it's quite a lot. There's millions of hits a day. Even if half of those hits was from people who used an ad blocker, it'd still be enough to keep the Nexus's lights on for at least another day, maybe to. If they were to ban a featured modder for endorsement solicitation (especially in regards to the Skyrim side of things since it's still the most popular side of it), I would imagine there'd be an angry mob and possibly people even leaving the Nexus all together.

Kinda weird they are banning people over silly things that they find "Offensive" and yet Skyrim and Fallout has way more offensive things than that. Jeez I just Noticed that now? Wow im dumb.
