ArmyChick Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Yeah I feel your pain where Dante is concerned he IP banned me saying I had already been banned under a different name, even though I hadnt and had no idea of whom he was even talking about. All this after I posted screenies of characters using all nexus mods and having them deleted, because they "looked to much like Kristas mods" "....and while he couldnt be sure wether they were or not, he wasnt going to allow them to stay up" Never mind the fact that the screens had links to the mod arthurs mods on the nexus incase people liked the mash up of different mods to create a look. Nexus has become an absolute nightmare. Nothing will ever change that so all we can hope for is most of the authors there come here and enjoy a community that truely is all about the mods and fun

Perhaps they banned you because you gave them an inferiority complex....and they have no sense of humor. how does one do that? the only thing that could possibly be offensive is my drawing technique lol... And this is why I avoid involving myself with that (nexus) community as much as I can. Well...I learned the lesson...that´s for sure...whatever lesson there is to learn, besides that they have some serious management issues... Did you respond to the trolls in the comments? They like to ban you because of that, too. I did rspond, but not offending, basically explaining there was no offense intended, and in any case, i cant be blamed for what a fictional character says or does...that way of thinking is the same as considering stan lee a supervillain or evil doer cause of the creation of Dr Doom...nonsense, and no excuse for an ip ban, he went way overboard Aside of that, thnks for the read, im glad ppl still like them ...yet I still wanna know what you all think... They banned you because they didn't reach their daily quotoa yet..

Guest Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 I don't see the fun in these strips because it's simply not my kind of humor but getting banned for that is so typical for the oversensitive nexus where they ban anything they can find a reason to ban. My guess is that all the profanity wasn't in line with their rules and that you were rude towards a moderator. It was nicely drawn though. Some characters reminded me of Lenore in Nemi if you know what that is. I think you should continue making strips but work on replacing the profanity and badass attitude with more quality humor. Judging from the nature of these strips I would say you are a teenager and you will develop a more mature sense of humour with age, I'm sorry if I'm wrong. You could make some nerdy jokes or switch to a more satirical style for example. The chest joke was good though, because it's a situation that you recognize yourself in. If you want to make a new account on the nexus(of course you should) try to reset your IP or use a Proxy.

Hope LL is a lot more accommodating towards you, I'd probably never get away with posting stuff like a futa screenshot on Nexus despite any urge to do so even in an "artistic" manner.P.S. You should be ashamed for treating poor Cicero like that, though.

I don't really mind the negative stuff that much, or I should say, I don't mind it HERE. We all manage to get along just fine, regardless of someone saying they love some stuff about the mod, AND they hate other things. I had a really quick arguement with someone on a thread about a mod I'll be making, and like 2 posts later, he was on my friends list. Gotta love LL! And last but not least, great strips, weaselheart! We could use some more comics on LL. I wouldn't mind seeing more. The Grelod the Kind one kills me! Never really sat down and thought about how messed up it is Bethesda put a quest in Skyrim where you have to kill an old lady in front of children, only to recieve a round of applause from them! And Nexus proudly supports Skyrim, but bans you for these comics? I was there earlier, and I always feel like I'm slowly walking down a long hall, with angry, judgemental glares coming from the community. Tread carefully in the Nexus, Labsters. They just LOVE banning people!

There are fools everywhere not only in the US but it is also fool to say that your government has nothing to do with the individuals. The people elected the government so anyone that voted for Obama government should also feel responsible for Obama's governemnt actions in a certain degree and I am quite sure a lot of US people voted for him, just saying. Back on topic Nexus owner and moderators are assholes indeed but the website itself is still a great place to get mods anyway, US government are assholes but US makes great things also anyway.....

Especially that it is an obvious truth that games are being censored because of American nudity/sex taboo. That being said, nazi-nexus has nothing to do with Dork0ne being or not being American; it's a matter of mere fact that he's a prick. I got banned after 9 years of problem-free membership because of a single joke that I've made and seen ppl getting banned because someone reported their comments for not apparent reason, so nothing from this discussion comes to me as a shocker.
mkprovince Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Okay, the Serana part had me laughing like no tomorrow cause it reminds me so much of those hit-and-run one night stand that leaves the guys with only his pants on at the end of the hour. The Hadvar and Rolof part has one error in the Grammar. "like you were my own blood brother" is just like saying "you are no longer my blood brother" because of the past tense... so, the axe kind of look funny in that scene, considering what we escaped from in the beginning of the game. Wait, who's the one that got the heart ripped out and munched like an apple?
