If there is a community desire for it I don't see why not. Since it may involve several games and will most likely be 'adult' oriented it may be best to just open threads in the General section under the Adult stuff (18+) section. If another section is desired or deemed more appropriate I can petition Ashal to create it if the demand is there.

I can't possibly see any reasonable explanation for why they would ban you. The only thing that was remotely offensive about this is perhaps the way you drew Nazeem...

Either way it was a pleasant read. Some people on the Nexus can be pretty retarded.

I don't see anything wrong with those other than the anime hair and ears (ick) :P:) Then again I like Frankie Boyle (check out Youtube / his books) :)

 

I just got banned for similar stupid reasons, seems to be a theme... Maybe you should open up a sub-forum for this to keep all the threads together (my first reply in my thread I just made was saying it's "getting old") instead of in the main forum?

I have carried out so many arguments via pm's with the powers that be there (so I would not be banned) but they either:

 

1. don't see that they are behaving like asses

or

2. just ignore you

or

3. want to behave like asses and don't give a crap about anyone there as long as the money is rolling in.

 

There are some moderators who are okay, like Zaldir (great guy I must say), but most are arrogant and should never have any power at all.

Weaselheart, i like your strips, good sense of humor and well drawn, keep up your work and feel free to post it here, this community is WAY better than Nazi-Nexus.

 

About your ban...this is an old story, to avoid problems i have never posted there in many years, only 1 post in a download section.

When power is given to unworthy people, it is absolutely certain that they will abuse of it, it's the human nature.

 

I personally find ironic that a guy that call himself "Dante" is one of them:

Dante was one of the best writers and poets in history, a guy that wrote The Divine Comedy (one of the most keen and ironic piece of art in the Italian literature), that was chased and pursued for his humor and criticism toward the rulers and potents of his time.

well it looks like i was banned, even keeping low profile i was banned.........(well i can still access Fallout 3 nexus and the other ones, minus new vegas, Skyrim and the forums)

nah i saw via proxy, their servers are fucked, it appears that a few can access bu the rest can't log on NWM or other webistes minus a few ones(like Fo3 nexus and Darksouls)

Those drawings are beyond funny.

But yeah, nexus modertators are so powerhungry it makes me sick. I got banned from the nexus for 3 days just for commenting "The texture on this armor looks terrible and you should fix it."

I don't usually make comments on mods from the nexus, but this one was so bad it had to be done.
Something along the lines of Dwemer Gas Mask if I remeber correctly.

They seem to expect you to talk nicely and to heap praise on even a mediocre mod. No, fuck, they have so many users -- not all of them smart -- that the mods are on hair triggers.

 

Guess the rules of Nex are: read the rules, don't speak too much, comment only when you need help, don't fight City Hall, use your account only to download mods.

I thought they were great :)  I avoid posting anything but positive stuff on the Nexus, only because after 6 years there, I've seen a lot of good people get banned for spurious reasons at best.  The politically correct "Nexus Nazis" are not your friends.  Your comics are very funny and hopefully we'll see more here!

The problem with the Nexus is that they are fighting an unstoppable plague.  It's an army.  It's an absolutely catastrophic Armageddon-wielding army of TROLLS.  Here is what falls under the category of the evil trolls:

 

1.  People with strong opinions.  They're a threat.  Ban them.

2.  People who discuss topics I'm not comfortable with.  They're cyber-anarchists and will take down our community.  Ban them.

3.  People who bring criticism towards others.  There is only good in the world.  Ban them.

 

Here's the most illusive part of this gang of cyber-terrorists.  They don't exist.  The nexus family of sites got famous because the other mod sites either got unlucky or came after mods were polarized towards the Nexus.  You'd think they'd take this success and be as non-intrusive as they possibly could, but they've done the opposite.  They ban anything they like, Dark0ne justifies his lack of interest in policing his staff by bringing up anecdotal situations and slippery slope logical fallacies, and a huge chunk of the potential community the Nexus could've had is either IP banned, uninterested, or too intimidated to speak.

 

The censorship of mods, images, and chat has gotten so bad that the only people left participating in the community are either people who have something interesting and critical to say about some unique topic and will be banned momentarily, or masochistic pseudo-intellectuals talking about how their dog makes funny noises when they fart.  There is no interesting conversation; if it involves politics, religion, mods from other sites, anything that annoys the moderators (and that's a lot of things), suggestions, or, *gasp* CRITICISM! (which is another word for ANARCHY), you're gonna get banned.

 

It's the reason why the Nexus community comment threads, chat, and forums are filled with a bunch of self-loathing apologists.  They're the only ones left who think it's justified to ban someone for life from a service over minor disagreements.  The irony is that they, too, will likely be banned one day for saying "fuck" in chat.  Yes, because, believe it or not, the fear behind that is that there might be young teenagers in chat.  Because they never swear.  

 

They're living in a dream world.

on banning: I once mentioned in chat that if someone authors wanted to upload their mods to alternative sites they are welcome to do so on my mod mod manager. For that I was banned in chat. Ironically right now skyrim nexus is down.
