If they don't totally blow themselves to bits maybe they could drop roasted chicken breasts. Or maybe a new food item, Chicken Al-Quesadillas. I do think the author needs to work on the suit more so it looks like the mascot for a fried chicken place.

I'm working on master file for my Skyrim game. Basic stuff, NPC tweaks, crafting, some interior cell changes, a lot more variations for player chargen and NPC faces, etc. There's no way in Hell I'd upload it, since all I'm doing is using other modders' works and putting my own spin on them. To me, what I'm doing isn't modding. To Nexus, it is worthy of upload, praise and possibly File of the Month. But this happens to every BethSoft game Nexus hosts for. It becomes a quagmire of shit mods. I guess the worst would be follower mods where the author reuses the same face he made in ECE, does a little cosmetics, changes the eyes and hair and SUDDENLY it is a 'Stand Alone' with the same shitty AI vanilla followers have. *yawn* "Hey everybody, LOOK! I know how to path meshes and textures (that I didn't make) and use the game's fucked up mechanics to make an awesome (ehem) follower! Isn't it great?!" NO, it's not. We can all do that. Take a fucking screenshot. The image share at Lover's Lab is FULL of nice looking toons. There isn't a stampede here to upload them as followers.

Although i gotta say LL is slowly going the same road. Well, Lover's Lab (being the community it is) we could always help situation by providing mod feedback when things like that pop up. I've seen a few mods here like that, not many though. If we address it as the mature community we profess to be I don't see why ANY uploader here wouldn't be open to suggestions and constructive analysis. This isn't Nexus so we don't need to fear for our lives. I recently got my hands on a copy of ECE. I installed it and instantly hated what the authors did to the character presets. They look worse than vanilla. I have no idea WHY the authors choose to put their personal spin on the presets when the mod mechanics didn't require it. It makes no sense. The mod worked as intended with the added sliders, zoom, lights and other menu features. The thing is, the mod description makes no mention of them hi-jacking the vanilla presets. I did some editing in TES5Edit and started replacing the mod's files with what the game had originally, and I gave up. The mod's menu is not worth the hassle. If I were still a member at Nexus there would be no way I could post something like that in the mod thread without a pack of fan-boy pansies trolling me and the staff wanting to ban me. It would probably take less than an hour for all of Nexus to gather their torches and pitchforks and hunt me down for being a mod-bashing monster. I know Lover's Lab is better than that.

I tried to add a boob to the one with the cone shaped shell but it kept turning the textures grey so I gave up on it. Ice cream flavored mudcrabs complete with scratch and sniff boobies.

That's the problem, the place stopped being a modding-centered site the moment people started using it as their personal livejournal/ratemyshit/hugbox instead of what it was originally designed to be. I've nothing against socialization since that's basically the only thing I do here on LL, but not when it takes what once was a bastion of creativity and talent and turns it into, well...the nexus.

And waiting on the ever so slow virus scan to scan a 800kb file... then Death Blossom shows up! But back on topic.. I agree, so much BS keeps overlapping a lot of really good mods, I am dreading the BS when Discworld releases, kind of why I'm spamming spells that will be in the mod as standalones and linking discworld to it all. I've increased views on the discworld video and thread 10 fold in 2 weeks, compared to 6 months of development.. just kind of sad imo
