I noticed my companions (even those aquired with JustBusiness) are giving me "So and so loved/liked that" on snu snu encounters using AAF_SEU, including Ivy. I thought that was curious so being a nosy sort I looked around in the scripts. (It comes with source files.) Turns out it gives an affinity boost if you have them as a companion with you and you pin 'em against a piece of furniture. Cool enough, but Ivy is getting it too. So far I'm up to 3 out of 100 with her as reported by AFT. (It's early in a play through.) No biggie I suppose, but I thought you might be interested. And it's not an AFT issue, AFT is just reporting on it. It's definitely SEU. I imagine the fourplay version does it too. It's in the scripts. Knowing Bethesda if I hit 100 the world will end or something equally dramatic. Anyway. FYI

Did she just talk about it or did she go all wonky on you or something? She has a couple of voiced lines/animation like that. So far as I know they are just that. Color commentary as it were.
sometallbloke57 Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 she said weird things and slumped over then sort of jerked up and down. it did look like it was animated and scripted so it must be something she is supposed to do. it was worrying though. I don't like to see her like that. i know she is raider trapped in sexbot that was a courser. so many bad things could happen. i don't want to lose her!

Read the VFAQ, second post of this topic for the answers. I found another reason not to use multiple follower mods today while taking Ivy and Ada with me to raid the mechanist's lair... I ordered Ada to open the M-SAT doors, then Ivy proceeded to do it. It was interesting.. 1

I had this very same thing happen with Codsworth and Dogmeat in Mechanist's lair "Everyone's Best Friend" mod The scanning thing came from Dogmeat when Codsworth had the installed module of course. Am certain its a Game bug. But yes its weird. This was a play through at least 10 months ago. Never used a multi follower mod except the Dogmeat one, never will. *Edit* I used Codsworth now I recall for I could not dismiss ADA for some reason, was stuck with ADA sigh So a reload of save I installed the m-sat on Codsworth, all was fine there after. Not done the mechanist story line since.

Pretty much anything that would normally pick the only companion get's all discombobulated with multi. One of my favorite mods is Companion Command and Tactics and it gets lost AF if I have more than one follower. Quite annoying. I only use AFT because I'm lazy and hitting shift-P to loot an entire area fuggin' ROCKS. And I can take a new follower home instead of sending them out into the commonwealth alone. I don't actually travel around with a herd. Much. You know what's really annoying. Totally off topic here but I got it in me to say. Using RSE and you got 3 followers with you and ONE raider with 20% health get's a lucky hit and all three stand around while he treats you like a bicycle. Pisses me right off. Heh. 1

It allows you to 'Snuggle' on the couch with Ivy, which will activate her 'sitting' chatter routines, making it nice and cozy together with Ivy. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25030 This is us, relaxing after completing the Mechanist DLC.. Also: The Mechanist DLC breaks with all multiple follower mods in the last mission. The quest counts on the fact that ADA is the 'first' or 'prime' companion otherwise the final quest never finishes. The fix is to dismiss all your companions, recruit ADA first, then the rest, otherwise the DLC never goes to the next stage of the last quest and you stay in an infinite fight sequence with the bots. 2

I downloaded her on a whim since I was bored with the vanilla companions and wanted something different. What I love most about her as a companion is some of the completely, absolute random shit she says while walking around. It would actually be hard to do a Fallout 4 playthrough without her keeping me company! I've included a picture of my modded Ivy below. I'm gearing her towards melee with a power fist (dubbed "Mister Fister") and alternatively a baseball bat with the "penetrating" mod (just for shits and giggles). Thanks again! 1

I have seriously spruced up her melee skills in the new build, giving her all the perks for melee combat. While I was playing, and we were high level already, suddenly a level 3 raider managed to kick her and push her down the stairs... and I nearly rage-quit to upgrade Ivy (I was that pissed that a raider ha gotten to her hehe..). 2

Yet things I have trouble with as with the description she has on main page, Ivy is a fully automated fucked up Sex Synth. yet no sex animations are supported (Intended this way) Prostitution active, yet only applies when asleep and she teleports away. Yet when I walked into Diamond City she asked if I would like to rent her out and I could watch in secret? The stories she tells are top notch and deep, yet such a shame that all what is spoken and never able to be executed towards her, so is she just a raunchy story teller follower. Edit: V4 Dam that voice is way better.

But for once and for all I need to know which mod is fucking with Ivy's radio... Could you please post your mod load order so I can see why and what mod is causing this? 1

You should be able to capture folks just fine with Ivy along. I know of a guy said he was running around with 10+ just for giggles, only using Just Business. Throw the hunters mark on 'em an do your thing. It'll work. If it's not, then something is fubar. FYI if you mark folks that are not hostile to you yet you can just walk up and talk to 'em and take 'em.

I think it has to be sanctuary mods. I was getting the radio just fine a few weeks ago when I was running minimal mod lists "testing" RSE. (I dunno. I get like that.) Now running RSE with a full loadout I don't get the radio, but I'm still able to recruit her after getting the voucher. I've got a couple sanctuary cleanup mods. RSE itself makes unintended changes to sanctuary too which may cause an issue, but it's issue goes away from the root celler.

Perhaps I should try to find a way to move the radio beacon into a different custom cell. I wasn't sure that a radio would be broadcasting globally (like DC radio) if it was placed in an internal cell, but I don't see why it wouldn't so I'll try that. Hopefully this will solve the compatibility issues with the radio. 1
athoscaru Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 first and foremost, I love this mod. thanks for all your hard work. thanks for the upgrade, specially adding the holotape she seams to be working fine, with 'loved lockpicking' , picking up magazines and replying is that issue 49 etc. but when i try to get her to do her hacking function. she goes close to the terminal and say initializing and then nothing happens am I doing something wrong. I have ivy almost at the bottom of my load order (sorry some of the other mod's force themselves at the bottom) 1
Ghostman7nz Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 @Reginald_001 The radio will transmit globally no matter where it is placed, so yes you can put the transmitter in the new cell you are placing Ivy in and it should be fine. On a side note I have spent a fair amount of time trying to find the reason the radio doesn't start, I have your mod installed from the beginning, and about fifty percent of the time the radio will not work when starting a new game. At this point I am thinking it has little to do with what mods are loaded and more to do with limitations on the game engine and the number of scripts that Bethesda has popping off during the opening scenes. I even ran ten fresh starts up to concord, to rescue Preston, with an absolute minimalist mod load out and still had the radio fail several times. The only for sure certain way to have the radio fire is to have radio beacon initially disabled and only enable it once the player leaves the vault. Also the statement that many make saying that mods should never be loaded until you exit the vault is not correct, so long as the mods are set up properly they work perfectly from the very start. 1
