I don't see that option in the advanced section of the holotape, or anywhere else in the holotape.

Go into the advanced section, choose 'Activate Unit'.

 

If that option does not exist then the 'Deactivate Unit' option exists.

Choose that, then choose 'Activate'..

I've tried the "deactivate unit" option, it doesn't do anything.
When I close the holotape and go back, it still says "deactivate unit".

Are you using AFM?

 

Deactivate, exit the pipboy. Wait 5 seconds. Then enter the pipboy, activate, exit the pipboy, wait.

What's AFM? You mean AFT? Yes, I am.

I just tried again. I pressed "deactivate unit" in the holotape, exited the pipboy and waited a bit. I went back and I still see "deactivate unit", so I pressed it again, exited the pipboy and waited a bit.  I go back and this time I do see "activate unit", I press it, exit the pipboy, and wait a bit, and she teleports, like the Institute teleport, a few feet.
I talk to her again, she asks about the redeem voucher, I say yes, and she acts like I've recruited her, but still nothing. I talk to her again and she keeps asking about the redeem voucher. Every time I redeem her she gives me the same line and another holotape.

*hangs my head in shame* ...Ok, so I moved AFT to the bottom of my load order... and it works now...

Thanks so much! 

I need a code... since I have not completed the takeover of the pip-boy... and remaining issues-task as well as didn't give me the holotape.

Szükségem lenne egy kódra... mivel nálam nem fejezte be az átvételt a pip-fiú... és megmaradt kérdés-feladatnak valamint nem adta oda a holoszalagot sem. 

Verbal contact practice? No physical connection? Why?

Csak verbális kapcsolatot gyakorol? Semmi testi kapcsolat? Miért?

The W.I.V.S. radio does not give the actual show is just the first round? I have not seen at the time/there subtitles.

A W.I.V.S. Rádió nem ad tényleges műsort csak az első körben? Nálam nem látható az akkori/ottani felirat.

Hi I'm currently using XDI, what could be the compatibility problems with dialogue? i already kinda sorted the problem with getting her out of PA, but i was looking ingame for a dialogue that lead her to get out herself since she was complaining :)

Hey got a question for you. Does Ivy come with dialog for Far Harbor and Nuka World? I think she'd be pretty much perfect for a raider Sole Survivors' queen. Also here's a screenshot of my Ivy

He is working on the DLC additions but none releases yet. We are all waiting "patiently"

Anyone else getting complete silence on the radio? I have it second to last in my load order, just above AFT. I do have Atomic Radio installed somewhere above in my load order.

Atomic radio will conflict. I used to have Atomic radio, now with Ivy the radio on table between Nicks place and Diamond city radio shack that radio plays Ivy's radio station. Used to be Atomic!

So yes it will conflict, likely cancelling each other out. Cant have two radios on same channel

Edit: So I've run this without Atomic Radio and I still have no sound in this mod's radio station. Is there anybody else who's having conflicts? I can't think of why the radio would be silent. No other radio mods.

I use them together, the dialog options are different but they don't conflict.  each dialog tree is worded slightly different but include all options.

I've been wondering if there is any way to make ivy give me a quest or a hint of the forbidden test room that I should not bring her into, because I've read your spoiler warning to not bring her to one of the test rooms because she will turn "sentient" but is there a quest for this? do I have to progress her affinity? and is there anything special or new afterwards if I bring her into this forbidden test chamber?

 

(One thing that got my curiosity is when I searched her dialogues in the console, I saw a dialogue or something that says "Ivy knows you loaded a game" which creeped me out a bit, and I have a feeling this is connected to her being sentient once I bring her into this "Forbidden Chamber".)

Once the conflict happened the save game is corrupted, if Atomic radio really is the cause then you'd have to disable it and test it on a game that didn't have it loaded at any time.

Literally dozens of players have tested this for me and it's completely unreproducible.

One more amazing thing with Ivy... even in an unknown place to her  she said "isn't it a nice place ?" or something like that (don't remembering the right wording she said sorry) that was in Fusion City. Even in a playerhome mod she said something like "It's cozy here". Wonderfull Reginald ! Sometimes I'm  thinking that  she is really  in my playthrough like a real living beeing. Incredible. What a masterpiece you made there... Thanks you one more time for your work.

An offtopic tip
I ventured with the MO2 Mod Organizer 2 after having many problems and some information that could be because of the Nexus Mod Manager NMM

It takes a while to understand and get accustomed to the way he "thinks" is a different act from NMM, but what you're advised is passionate about, not if that's why then I'm with much more stable FO4.

Allow me to jump on the sycophant bandwagon. This mod, Ivy, is simply amazing. I have tried a lot of follower mods in FO4 and Skyrim and the only one that's come close to this is Skyrim's Sophia mod. I now have exactly TWO follower mods I actually like. 

Hat's off to you and ChicGeek. This is good stuff right here.

I am blown away by the level of detail and just how lively Ivy is. This being LL, I was expecting something more sexy with less story so to say, but Ivy goes above and beyond on both. She has displayed an amount of location dialog that puts even the best companions out there to shame as far as liveliness goes. Not only is her writing full of a surprising amount of depth, but also a good amount of wit. A lot of things she has said just walking along have made me grin. I especially love some of her conspiracy and fourth wall breaking comments, as they're a uniqueness that I lacked in my other companions. I also think ChicGeek did a really good job at voicing her. It adds that extra bit of realism and believe-ability that are the icing on this amazing cake.

 

If you're someone looking for a truly unique follower experience (And are fine with her themes listed in the mod description's disclaimer), I couldn't' recommend this more. And thank you to the people who put work into this, as I think it's a real joy to play with. :)

EDIT: I just noticed that this is actually the first time I've ever posted here. That just goes to validate my initial statement, as I'm not really one to comment. lol

Just a little something that I noticed:

 

I'm playing with ChickGeek's voiceover and it's amazing - props to CG for a job well done :) However, sometimes when talking to Ivy, she accesses her memory files and every now and then she plays back the recording of her conversations with her creator. When I played with the voice synthesizer, the parts of the creator were actually voiced by a man - the new voiceover has all the parts done by CG. Personally, I think it would have been better if the male parts remained as before. After all, it's a recording so having two voice actors would be more immersive.

 

Any chance of updating ChickGeek's voiceover so that those dialogue parts would feature the male voice?

I have a very picturesque request

In Ivy 3.2, I do not know if in the 4.0 version synthetic voice continues, but in version 3, there is an incredible moment that an Ivy during an attack uses an audio of the series Dr. Who says a classic phrase of the dalecks "exterminate ..."

the magician, in version 3, is that she does not say exterminate with her voice but it plays the same original sound of the series of Dr Who. I almost fell out of the chair of so much expansion, it was incredible.

The case is that in version 4, with audio from GeckChic did not continue the exterminate with the original audio of the series Dr Who, she ended up also dubbing the exterminate and at that point lost a little of the
grace.

Even if I have only heard it once in game weekends, I want to present it in case I have to sketch it again.

Then I ask:

what is the path and file name of the file that I can copy from the audio package of version 3, or the 4 with sinty voice and where can I paste it to exchange this externinate expression dubbed by the original Dr Who's dalecks audio?
