Only thing I can suggest at this point is create a new game and see if you have a licences tab in your mcm then. If so, then do a clean save. Out of interest can you post a pic of your mcm. Edit. I use alternate start. I think its 7 seconds until they can try to vanish. with RTDL 1.0 I could see them fading away with RTDL 1.1 they *puff* just are gone that saved serana on the old game with 1.1 because the rocks got deleted already out of LOS on my new game they didn't got deleted until I was with the back to them, after turning around they where just all gone I definitely like it that those rocks can vanish that quick! Normal tactic: PC in the front to trigger the trap and delete the rocks, than running back to grab the rest of the party. With RTDL 1.1 its enough if I get the rocks out of my LOS and they are gone. I like that. A lot. For my test battle: > rock trap got triggered > the rocks stayed long enough to be an obstracle (and to alarm the bandits) > they vanished quick enough after that so I could heal followers up without issues (like them going again and again into bleedout) need to test that with a more squish civilian NPC to see if they vanish quick enough. funny that they only vanish if I don't look, do they get naked before disintegrating? or is that the new feature of RTDL 1.1 to prevent the CTD?

It's just to be a little more immersive than disappearing right in front of you. That and the fact that if you're not looking at them they're probably not a threat any more.

Then noticed the version number of Survival showed as 0.2(and some zeros). So, I reinstalled, and it does show the proper version number... So, not sure how, but I guess I installed the wrong version first. Even though the proper one was, and still is, on my PC's desktop... *points at dunce corner* I'll be over here.

I tried adding map&compass with console and it worked. Do I need to install "Map&compass only" from the download section?

I used to have a nice video on it but just Google tesedit merged patch and theres loads of videos.

I kinda tried to avoid TESedit, since getting all mods setup in ubuntu was already quite challenge, but it seems I have no choice (unless I give up and go into HC play :))

Unless you mean theres no version of tesedit for ubuntu... Merged patches are a good thing. Everyone with a large load order should use one tbh.

I use combination of wine+proton and most of things are working. But after painful period of replacing MO's vfs with movfs patch and getting reqtificator to work I'm kinda reluctant to try poke this, but I will try it one few mods get update. (movfs is kinda slow since it has to be run separately from MO + there is always Bodyslide batch rebuild, since movfs replaces all watched files) Same thing with DynDOLOD

As for modding/gaming in general goes I agree win is much easier, but I have nothing but deep sated grudge against win10 (and few other MS products). Also after the time I spent getting it working already I don't want to just give up (I ain't no quitter!) After one solid gameplay I thought about writing a guide how to setup everything on linux. (once figured out it's actually easy, the figuring out part is the hard one :)) 1

You got the collar at least once then, yes? Did you use cursed loot to remove the collar? There seems to be some issue with the collar after you use DCLs 'Free me'. I've no idea why. Like I said above it's just a normal DD collar. A papyrus log or when the dialogue is fired but when the collar isn't equipped might be useful. If you think it would help post it (in spoilers please). Next time it happens post a log. You can message it to me if you prefer privacy. Just check one thing maybe. Go into the mcm to the 'general settings' page and scroll down to "interfaces". Make sure that the 'Devious devices' toggle is enabled. Demerots Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 Since I was enjoying this mod a lot I decided to install spank that ass as well - but unfortunately for whatever reason with STA installed the license system of Survival stopped functioning. I don't know if anything else broke too since that was the most obvious thing and I tried fiddling with STA's settings to resolve the issue, but without a lot of luck. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Disabling STA in MO immediately fixed the issue, but I would obviously like to play with both. Thanks again. Edit: Actually, reinstalling SL Survival after STA made the guards take my stuff again...but the quartermaster NPCs who're meant to give it back don't have their dialogue options anymore.

STA contains a replacement esp for Survival that disables survivals spanking mechanism but it is only intended for version 0.22 of survival not the newer version. If you use NMM reinstall survival (which you've already done). If you use MO simply move survival lower in the left window. Then revert to a save before installing STA. Well I'm dumb, but not dumb enough to not hold onto previous saves. That fix worked, thanks again for answering.
