Would it be possible to only enable the Frostfall/RND cum food/drink mechanic? I really like that part of the mod alot but am not really sure about all the other mechanics, maybe even make it into a seperate little mod?

Using a cloak spell is not recommended by most mod authors

Ok but my point still stands. If the actor isn't loaded the moment the quest alias is filled then it won't work. With a global variable check it doesn't matter if the actor is currently loaded or not.

Most things can be toggled off at this stage. I'm aiming to have everything toggle-able. The main one at the  moment that can't be toggled off (that I can think of) is stashes.

I'm using ~250 mods, including Crime Overhaul, so I'm not sure if this is related to this mod or Prison overhaul or a combination.    My guards do not accept my bounties when I talk to them. They say "hey i know you..." and then after that go into normal conversations, and the only way they force greet me is if my bounty is high enough to earn a sentence, and then i also have no option to pay.

 

so far with this mod, i've been using console paycrimegold 0 0 to allow myself to buy license.

Can't think of any reason it would be caused by this mod. Survival doesn't edit Skyrim dialogue at all. The only thing it overrides is simply knock dialogue. 

Anyone else got the same problem?

the toll guys all force greeted me and wanted money for licenses,

I guess that's how it should work?

 

about the guard dialoges, DCL overwrites them all since 8.0, so there isn't a "pay bounty" dialog anymore, at least not on my setup

if there is any bounty, then PC goes straith to DCL prison (ignoring SLUTS 1.7, Dlore or other guard dialog alternatives I have installed)

I have to add: I have POP not installed atm, but DCL 8.3

 

what might make issues with guard dialoges:

> DEC guard dialoge (switch off in DEC MCM)

> Dlore below other guard dialoges (move it above all other guard dialog changing mods)

> DCL 8+ prevents all guard dialoges (not tested yet with the new possible DCL 8.3 + POP combo)

They shouldn't be offering to sell you licences. Only the guys in the barracks' do that. The guys at the gate should just check that what you're carrying doesn't violate any licences you don't have. 

For example if you're carrying a sword but you don't have a weapon licence they should stop you.

 

If you 'check out' (you've got licences for what you have) then they shouldn't stop you at all. (To keep it from getting too annoying).

maybe I got the wrong impression then!

there was a lot going on at that time

will check it later again with more leisure

(I hope, those NPCs over there are looking already suspicious at my PC)

The first time they will force greet you regardless of anything I think. To help explain the situation to cupcake.

i think it is from Prison overhaul. You need to set minimum bounty lower. In order for you to pay your bounty, your current bounty needs to be at least in the minimum bounty treshold from Prison Overhaul.

If you use DCUR and have a version older than I think 8.2 and newer than 7.5, there is no "pay bounty" option. Since the whole force greet dialogue has been replaced by DCUR and that option hadn't been added back until 8.2 and support for PO was only added in 8.3.

I had an issue twice now, where my collar was removed via another mod (Laura's shop is one), and my magic collar debuff was not removed.  I even enable/disabled, bought another license, etc + anything i could in game to fix it, to no avail.

I just uninstalled + reinstalled and it fixed it, but something for the future.

suggestions: 

 

eviction: awesome that you can get evicted, but paying a fee to get back into the house instead of a free + timer would be preferred. 

licenses: a wandering tax collector in the city would be cool, esp for white run where there is only one exit.  Riften probably is good!

 

higher scale for Tolls:  x/level never seems to work (given I haven't tried it with the new version), but the scale up to 1000 would be nice.  

 

there seems to be a pretty high chance that the tax collectors rip up your magic license if you're restrained or something?  I like the idea.  A scale maybe? i donno if it's even needed.

The "Wait I know you" is a skyrim bug as far I as I know.

Its when your bounty is too low at times or doesnt have a "crime" associated with the bounty.

 

From my understanding (which could be wrong here) crime is essentially 2 parts.

The Crime and the Bounty.

You will always get into trouble if you have a "crime" flagged eg stealing, murder and so on regardless of bounty.

eg you steal a 0gold item the guard will still apprehend you for the Crime of theft.

 

Bounty is just that bounty.

Unless you cross a certain threshold you go ignored as your not a criminal.

However if you cross lets say 500gold as a bounty, that will trigger the guards to take note..

Yea, it seems however it's being removed sometimes doesn't fire the normal unequip events. It's probably just another Bethesdaism *sigh*.

I'll see if I can add an extra condition to the spell effect. If that doesn't work I might have to add some sort of constant polling which is kind of annoying when it shouldn't be necessary.

No need to do that. Use 'Player.RemoveSpell xx045161' where xx is the load order id of Survival. 

I never modify stats directly via scripts for precisely this reason.

I think if you're fully addicted they will stop offering. After-all they've nothing to gain at that point and would be just helping you out which isn't really their thing :P

Well there is toll dodging coming. In which case all of the guards will be looking for you. It's been more difficult than you'd think though. Problems like that the barracks where you buy the licences in Whiterun is tagged as 'WhiterunStables'. And half of Windhelm is tagged as 'Wilderness'. Fs....

I did change the x/level thing. I had a really round-about way of getting the player level before. No idea why I did it that way but now it's much more straight forward. So I'd be interested to hear if it's working or not now.

I think the ripping up is sometimes just a notification. He doesn't actually do it. There's just a hole in the dialogue logic somewhere. 

I'm going to add the 'VendorItemBook' keyword to the licences in the hope that other mods will recognize them and steal them/or whatever.

I have a suggestion. Would you be able to make it so that inns close after a certain time, so that I can't just go into one and sleep on the floor (since I use the Simple Actions mod) unless I've paid for a room? Or just make it so that sleeping is blocked in inns unless the beds specifically are used (which have to be paid for). Also add a penalty for trying to sleep during the day (or night if you're a vampire)?

I think closing the inn might be too complicated but I might be able to extend the 'Rest anywhere' behavior to innkeepers.

I think it's SL Dialogues that has this 'Rest Anywhere' power. If you use it in the city Survival will get the guards to force greet you and tell you to clear out. Try to use it again and they send you to Pop prison. (It's bugged currently and just sends you straight to prison without warning you). It needs to be updated anyway so that it works with everything and not just the 'Rest anywhere' spell. I should probably add my own rest anywhere thing to survival really as well.

cool idea, maybe you can just extend the guards patrol into the inn, so they won't let you sleep in the floor as you couldn't outside.

 

Regarding my ripped up magic license, they def install the collar so maybe i never noticed that the actual document isn't gone.  Either way it was effective in that I had to buy another one.

I'm running into another issue, with Mortal Weapons and Armors and SL Survival: my broken bikini armors are being confiscated upon my return to town, as they are considered normal armors I believe. This is probably already on your radar, just thought I'd mention it.

The only time the slaverun options should be greyed out is when Whiterun is already enslaved or perhaps the right inteface script wasn't installed. Try copying the scripts from the \Conditional\Slaverun\Active\ folder from the installer. 

I really need to fix that FoMod.

Never even crossed my mind. Haven't had any time to actually play skyrim lately :(

Anyway, I think there's a keyword attached to broken armor. I can just add a check for it so any broken armor isn't confiscated. It won't differentiate between bikini and non bikini armor but whatever. Not like you can use it while it's broken anyway.

was looking forward to trying this mod out but I am not able to install it thru nexus mod manager without being told the reinstall the mod which I do but yea wont continue since its been said and ive tried to follow the steps but so far everything has come up empty so ive given up on trying it thru nexus mod manager.... and ive tried to install with MO2 but for some reason the game doesn't pick up the mod when its thru MO2 for some random reason. so ill try again tomorrow.

Sexlab Survival v0.33 (16-May-2019) - FoMod Repack.7z

 

The FoMod isn't as fancy but it should be more reliable. If anyone else wants to test it and report back please do. Damn Fomod is driving me bananas. 

Just install it and open the Mcm to the general settings page. 

No popups = thank fuck

Popups = FS!

I would like to say it worked and im now able to play using this mod and that there was no pop ups at all so what ever u did seems to have done the trick. I tried for a good 4 hrs before finally giving in to being tired lol but wasn't going to let it defeat me at all but thanks for looking into it and fixing it up... ill be looking into the mod very soon once I have breakfast... well lunch since its now 11:22am in Australia when writing this out lol. thanks again for your good work.

I didn't get much of a chance to do some testing today since I was flatout baby sitting a 3 yr old and a 2 yr old and skyrim with all adult mods are not all that good for small eyes lmao but I will now sit back and relax with a rum and enjoy some skyrim since my brother come and got his two little shits back lol
