OK.  I am at a loss here.  I've recently reinstalled Skyrim SE and started using Vortex (SOOOO not liking it, but that's a whole other issue)

 

I have the game running pretty well...at least until I install Devious Devices.  I must have a conflict somewhere, but I honestly couldn't tell you with what.

As soon as I install Devious Devices and run FNIS (even from the AIO someone posted)...The game will usually load to menu.  If I try to start a new game, continue, or COC QASMOKE...The game crashes silent to desktop.

As soon as I remove DD...(and run FNIS) the game runs normal.  I can start a new game, continue or COC QASMOKE again.

Can someone look over my load order and tell me if one or more of the mods I have installed is/are causing me this issue?

SKSE is 1.5.80, Skyrim is up to date, but the auto update is disabled because of the stupid creation club updates.

Am I missing anything else needed to help figure this out?  Oh...Papyrus Log...I never enabled the logging, and would have to turn it back on and reinstall DD again.  Not a problem tho, if it is needed, I shall do it.

So someone has informed me that I have "massive problems" with zaz killing my papyrus engine after I posted a log for a different issue. I'd appreciate it if anyone could take a look and let me know what's wrong and how to fix it. I use SE.

Check your anim count in FNIS. My guess is that you crossed the limit with your setup.

Wow... There are a lot of issues... Aygas and ZAZ, RDO and AFT, Seems like You are missing a lot of dependencies for some mods you have installed..

Using FNIS XXL (20,000 anims).  

 8640 animations for 39 mods successfully included (character)
 3227 animations for 11 mods and 37 creatures successfully included.

I need the full log with DD installed and the HKX check enabled.. Sidenote: FNIS can handle 20000 Anims at max, that does not mean that your Skyrim can handle them, too in a such a mod list. First thing to test is if you still CTD if you remove one of the bigger packs. In your case it might also be too many alternative animations.

So I was curious as to what the max npc count refers to specifically, as in how does it count these npcs. Is it in the whole game-world? Is it per cell? I have been playing around with binding as many npcs as I can using a preset bondage loadout (ebonite gag, hobble-dress, slave boots, blindfold, armbinder, and plugs) and I seem to be able to get most of the females in whiterun. dawnstar, and riften with no problems. The major problems i encountered first were with blindfolds and plugs not working after binding close to the max number. Then I noticed that in Markarth, despite having no one bound yet, I could only get the gag and boots to properly equip. I decided to drop the blindfold and gags on all previously bound npcs which upped the number I could now bind but I would love to know where the limitations are actually occurring. Like why would the hobbledress stop working while the gag and boots still equipped with no issues?

Maybe you will get a better answer to this in the Oldrim DDi thread. I noticed that there seems to be a limit of certain Items that I could equip on NPCs when i dressed up my TDF prostitudes for work. At some point I was no longer able to lock them into a full restricted set, but I could still lock them in some other stuff.

Ok.  I finally got around to getting the Papyrus log.  I don't understand a word of it.  heh.

Anyway.  This log was generated a few minutes ago (as of this posting) with Devious Devices installed.  The crash happened (as usual) during the loading of a saved game.

After removing DD AOI RC1 (acquired from a post a few pages back) and running FNIS the game loads normally.  Same save file.

what happened to defeat and deathalternative and what was that andragon mod that is missing? Well, there are no DD related errors, I still need the Log from FNIS.

I have all the requirements for DD, so I dunno what I'm missing for ZAZ. I disabled RDO, and am still having some issues with AYGAS but I've been trying to get help for that in a separate topic, which hasn't gotten much help admittedly.

I have an issue with this mod...

When I try and activate "Devious devices integration" on my mod list, I get an warning
(and I quote)
 

"You have one or more script extender plugins which failed to load!

 

If you want this notification to go away, here are some steps you can take:

• Look for updates to the mod or the specific plugin included in the mod.

• Disable the mod containing the plugin.

• Hide or delete the plugin from the mod.

 

To refresh the script extender logs, you will need to run the game and/or editor again!

 

The failed plugins are:

• DDiUtil version 1 (DeviousDevices.dll, Devious Devices Integration) reported as incompatible during query."

Specifically for Devious devices integration, not for any of the other versions.
What should I do about this?

(I am rather new on this modding site, so if the answer already has been given or if I should post this somewhere else would that information be fantastic :D)

Souds like you don't have the right ddi.dll for your SKSE Version

first you have to find out which skse version you have installed and then choose the fitting one during the installation.

simply disabling RDO will not clean your saves from script entries. With all this errors noone can tell you what will happen if you install DD on top of it. There are so many things that don't work, that it is a wonder that you can load the save without DD.

Oh, I have DD running. I just crash when trying to use the behind-the-back named cuffs, or the hands in front stuff. I posted that issue before and nobody replied.

Try uninstalling then reinstalling the mod. That worked for me using Vortex when I had a similar issue with an earlier version.

Already done that with Devious
And doing it with the script editor is a real pain in the bum.

Defeat is there and seems to be working.  I am not actually using Death Alternative...at least I don't recall installing it.

As for andragon...No clue what that even is.  

I am in Skyrim right now,  The MCM for Defeat is there.  Lists V5.  All my settings are there.  It seems to work.  I hit the assigned controller key and everything appears to function.  

I really don't know what to say about DA...I used it once long ago, and wasn't that into it.  I never installed it this time.  I don't even have it downloaded anymore.

I will see what this andragon is tho.

Edit:  

I quickly found it.  It's Underground Bathhouse and Paradise Valley.  Those seem to be functional as well.  (It was part of a bundle of mods, and not really that into UB, tbh.  I can easily disable the mods)
