It is remarkable that how, based on your comment, after 3 months of using Bodyslide, I considered reviewing the instructions on the website, and found out about the trick to deal with overwrites automatically

I don't know English at all, let alone watching videos in it.

Unfortunately, the translator cannot translate the entire website, so please indicate what I should translate if you are sending me there and there is information I need to solve the problem.

It's even more remarkable that I am not psychic and did not know that as you posted in English.

My only other advice is that if you are going to hang around websites where the primary used language is English, learn English.

Do I still have to use both the DD 5.2.7 AND the DD NG 0.4.1?

If I enable both I can't get the game to start (I get the following error:

SKSE Plugin Loader (2.2.6)

A DLL plugin has failed to load correctly. If a new version of Skyrim was just released, the plugin needs to be updated. Please check the mod's webpage for updates.

DeviousDevices.dll: disabled, incompatible with current version of the game

Continuing to load may result in lost save data or other undesired behaviour.

Exit game? (yes highly suggest)

->I get this error with or without the devious devices Se patch.esp disabled or enabled

If I enable only DD NG I can get the game to start, but i only had an Armbinder equipped when there should have been boots, a gag and a dress, too. She had an animation for struggling against the restraints.

I have used BodySlide and batch built Cursed Loot, DDNG 3BA and DD Framework 3BA.

I am using CBBE and Pandora.

That sounds like you've got DD 5.2 (no .7, that's the suffix, for .7z/7zip) overwriting DD NG, when it should be the other way around. The DLL for DD 5.2 is not updated for newer versions of Skyrim and SKSE will throw up that error. Swap which way around the overwrite is happening in your mod manager (MO2 should be easy, swap positions in the left window. Vortex will need you to look at the "Manage Rules" button and make it so DD NG is "after" DD 5.2).

You need both because DD NG is a patch for DD 5.2, it doesn't contain the entirety of it.

In other words, it is easier to send something somewhere than to try to help solve the problem.

Hello, please tell me what to do in BODYSLIDE and how. I've already pressed all the buttons, but the game still crashes.

Regardless of what you do in Bodyslide, the game does not crash on any of your mistakes over there. Missing bodyslide output at the right folder does nothing more than leaving parts of you (or whoever wears DDs) invisible. Most common mistakes are not running BEES if you're on an older game version, or picking the wrong Fuz Ro D-oh version.

Check and re-check if you really have installed (and enabled) all the requirements for this mod.

Concerning your language problem: you might state somewhere (maybe in your signature) that you're using a translator, and which is your mothertongue.

I have 116 mods, many of which require the same thing, and I checked all the dependencies. Regarding the BEES mod, it is not listed in the requirements, and I don't even know what it is. As for crashes, the game crashes specifically because of the devices, not because of other mods, I checked.

My native language is Russian, I translate using DeepL.
It's unlikely that anyone here on the English forum will start speaking it, and there's no need to, since different translators translate differently.

You still have a lot to learn about modifying games like "Skyrim"... but that's the case for about 99% of all mod users.

With just around 100 mods, you're still in the "beginner league"... more experienced mod users have around 300-600 mods - and the pros manage more than 1,000 in one "image."

Mod collections often contain up to 2,000 mods.

What is "Bees"?

It helps ensure that mods developed for the highest AE version (1.6.1170) can also be used for the other AE and SE variants.

And no - a mod author does NOT have to explicitly list this "tool" in their requirements - it's part of a mod user's basic knowledge to inform themselves about the problems with the different SE and AE variants... I had to do this too - even though I've been modifying my TES games (starting with "Morrowind") for 20 years!!

I hesitated for a long time to switch from my SE version (1.5.97) to AE - the mod community itself needed years to convert/translate their "products."

And language problems?

Either use a better translator or formulate shorter sentences... my native language is NOT English either.

Leider kann der Übersetzer nicht die gesamte Website übersetzen. Geben Sie daher bitte an, was ich übersetzen soll, wenn Sie mich dorthin schicken und es Informationen gibt, die ich zur Lösung des Problems benötige.

There are plugins for every web browser, including translation tools, that display an ENTIRE web page in the desired language.

Without them, I wouldn't be able to operate on this site at all, since my native language is NOT English!

So please find out how you can implement real-time translation for your web browser.

By the way:

Thanks to modern AI, videos (e.g., on YouTube) now also offer real-time translation (into the desired language) in the form of subtitles.

And one more thing... I'm now 63 years old, so age is no obstacle to keeping up with the latest technology!

As for mods, yes, I'm a beginner. I only found out in May that there are mods for Skyrim. There are other mods, but some mod loaders are inconvenient, and I don't know how to use them properly.

I downloaded BEES and installed it, but the game still crashes.

Was Mods angeht, ja, ich bin Anfänger. Ich habe erst im Mai herausgefunden, dass es Mods für Skyrim gibt. Es gibt zwar noch andere Mods, aber einige Mod-Loader sind umständlich, und ich weiß nicht, wie man sie richtig benutzt.

For newcomers, I recommend this forum section - even I use the link collection

Which mod organizer to use? It's almost a matter of "belief"... each of the two (Vortex and Mod Organizer 2) has its advantages and disadvantages.

I chose Vortex many years ago - I learned how to build my mod images with it.

If you're planning on installing sophisticated mods like Devious Devices, mastering a mod organizer is necessary... because loading the plugins in the correct order is crucial for proper functionality.

You also need to learn how to use the Bodyslide tool - otherwise, you won't be able to see any "clothing" on your character in the game.

But everything I've listed above is for a service thread about a single mod -> off-topic

Vor 24 Minuten sagte Mishka2030:

Ich habe BEES heruntergeladen und installiert, aber das Spiel stürzt immer noch ab.

You'll probably have to start completely from scratch – we call this the "atomic option" here in the forum.

- Uninstall all mods

- Uninstall the game

- Delete the entire game directory (Skyrim folder)

- Reinstall the vanilla game

- Install one of the mod organizers I mentioned

- Use the tips on the forum page I linked to

In 2-3 weeks, you'll be ready to successfully install "Devious Devices."

And yes - we forum users have all been through this - often several times ... it's part of the process if you want to modify games

P.S.

I can give you a few beginner tips or hints via P.M. - so just write to me if you need it

Vortex helped everything work crookedly, but this mod loads successfully.

In summary, vortex is broken, Skyrim is broken, mods are broken.

Need to learn Mod Organizer 2. Once you understand it it makes things a lot easier. Vortex was created from the failure of an older program created by Nexus. I used that older system and it had many problems. I have heard similar complaints about Vortex. Mod organizer made my gaming life easier. Yes I am biased.

Yes, Mod Orginazer 2 is better and more stable, but this mod doesn't run on it or on Nexus.

I don't know how to run FNIS on it to generate animations.

See - that's your problem: basic understanding of the workings of any program. Neither Vortex nor MO2 will be of any use if you can't even create a desktop shortcut.

Just for the record: This mod comes with 4 esp files, you need to enable all of them. Vortex will give you a tiny message, but you need to read and understand it. Oh, and take action, of course.

There are still files in the archive with the data folder, so he couldn't install it.

Is there a simple unlocker or can you turn off the lock system?

Nope. You play with bondage, be prepared for the consequences.

Having said that, there are methods to cheese the system, but I'm not going to give them to you. Fucking around and finding out is part of the fun.
