All the other non-colored rope devices are brown, and every other variant is properly colored. It's just these two pieces that have this color mismatch.

 

Setup Info and relevant mods

  Reveal hidden contents
  • Skyrim SE 1.5.97
  • CBBE
  • DD 5.2
  • DD NG 0.2.9 / 0.3.7 (texture bug persists even after updating)
  • ZAP 8+

 

 

It's fine for me. You have something overwriting DD and DD NG.

This is with DD NG 3.7 as well:

Base DD gags don't morph. It's one head fits all for that race (human, elf, khajiit, argonian). If you mean the facial expression used to open the mouth, that's scripted i think and uses phenomes. You can see those in racemenu or sexlab.

 

Either way, I think either the DD NG discord is probably a better place to ask.

I checked and couldn't find anything that would overwrite it. I even made a minimal modlist with just DD 5.2, its requirements, and DD NG, and I still get the same result.

May I know if you have a texture pack, like Cathedral Armory, installed? I encountered a similar bug in a different mod, and it turns out that mod maker was using non-vanilla cube maps for the model textures. This resulted in odd-looking textures if you ran it without a texture pack.

 

QUICK FOLLOW-UP

I figured it out. It's the CBBE SE version that's bugged. Tried rebuilding it using the 3BA version and it was fixed

I don't know, it's the same mesh for both pointing to the same textures, just with a CBBE body instead of a 3BA body. I literally took the CBBE one and converted it. So there should be no differences between them other than shape and the CBBE is the source file.

 

No, i don't have Cathedral Armory. The textures are all custom for the armbinder, they wouldn't be overwritten by a texture pack.

Maybe it is an issue on my end. Nobody else reported on this, right?

I'll see if reinstalling Skyrim itself fixes it. If not, I'll just use the 3BA version

i got error message say that DD SE is not carpetable with current SKSE Anniversary Edition build 2.2.6 (game version 1.6.1170) is another version i need to use?

also the chains for shackles don't show and there no mcm ether, guessing it had to do with my question before or is there another problem?

I think the answer here is pretty self-explanatory, this mod isn't supported on Skyrim version 1.6.1170 yet; you have to wait for an update to be released supporting the newest version. I don't understand why you installed it anyway, within the FOMOD the latest version you can install is for 1.6.640 (or 1.6.659 for the GOG Edition), you have to select a version before continuing so you had to have known it wouldn't work, right?

i was redownload Skyrim SE and the mods i had after not playing it for long and i wasn't paying attention to everything.

Hi guys.
I have repeatedly encountered a few bugs in my new SE build related to this mod but never got around to solving them, hopefully you can help me out.

When I put on the classic slave boots, the following happens:
If the character's weight is zero, the slave boots behave normally.
But just change the character's weight and immediately the polygons are deformed.
All other slave shoes passed through BodySlide behave normally.
But these “boots” are missing from my BodySlide Outfit/Body list.

Hi, i have a problem with devious device ( and i guess all my outfit file)

For context,

I was forced to make a new save because some new mods didn't work (not mods with a big influence).
On this new save, my character is now invisible when I wear devious device outfits, and even my bodyslide export doesn't match what I can see with my ingame character.

Yes, I know how to use bodyslide in the basics (I even created a custom file for my bodyslide output) but on my new save, everything is broken and I don't know what to do. I've tried several different exports, I've tried xedit, I've tried cleaning up my saves just in case. If you have an explanation, I'd love to hear it.

Looks like a corrupted mesh. What body are you using?

Those are 'DD - CBBE SE - IronSlaveBoots' assuming you use 3BA or CBBE

 

Looks fine in my game, so maybe just rerun bodyslide for that outfit.

If you're using DD NG, the change made to the device hider is a little.. enthusiastic. And it can't be globally disabled. You'll need to set the body slot 32 to the none options on the device hider pages in the mcm.

 

if it's everything and not just the body slot items, then double check that bodyslide output the files to the correct path.

Body: CBBE
I sort of solved the IronSlaveBoots problem, but I'm not quite sure what exactly helped solve it.
I found this mod: Zaria's Slave Boots - CBBE SE - Slim fit 1.0.0
Installed it, 
Looked through the BodySlide gear/body list.
Didn't find it.
Disabled the mod.
Looked through the list again... found IronSlaveBoots.
Activated them, everything works fine.

Now I'm thinking either I missed them in the list or the mod helped.
Anyway, thanks for the reply.
