I do have BRRF installed, it works correctly except most if not all of the new head items in 5.2, most of them are easy to fix, just duplicate existing BRRF AA records assign the texture set, remove those races from the main AA for those, and then add the new AAs to the Armor record.

I've already done the work in this patch for what I can, at least 2 types of items don't have BRRF meshes available to use though, the new ebonite/leather hood, and the muzzle lips, also I was unable to locate the aforementioned heavy head harness, not sure where it comes from or maybe I just have the name wrong, I do know it's used for the silencer in cursed loot though which I have seen others report it's lack of BRRF support but all have been ignored.

 

I compared all versions I could find of 5.2 BRRF plugins in xEdit and none of them were making changes to the new items.

 

Included esp provides fixes and insites into current issues

The pump option is only available when wearing the device. If it isn't getting locked on, then you have something breaking DD's scripts. Make sure nothing is overwriting DD, and that you do not have the old separate versions of the mod installed, and that you do not have old script patches for DD or for other mods that overwrite DD installed.

I've been trying to use this mod for a little while now, though I don't seem to be able to install it due to an error I'm getting.

I have installed all dependencies and confirmed that they work in game. DD currently shows up in the mod list as "Never Installed" and when I tell Vortex to install DD, it gives me 2 error messages instead:

 

Installation failed, archive is damaged

and

Archive is broken: ERROR: Data Error: (path to some files in the DD file, which seem to change when I reboot my pc or redownload the mod)

D.D. is a fomod file so it needs to be installed with an archive manager not opened with 7-zip. But since 7-zip can't even open it, it is almost certainly a damaged file. There's nothing wrong with the upload or no one would be able to install it. Damaged files is an issue between your PC and the download host. There's nothing anyone here can help you with that I know of.  Just keep trying to re-download it until it downloads correctly. If you're using wifi, try plugging it in directly to the router. While file corruption is unusual when downloading, downloading over wifi can increase the chances of file corruption. I've had that happen a few times downloading from Mega, Mediafire, and even Nexus a couple times. It's frustrating, but all you can do that I know of, is keep trying.

Pretty sure I've noticed this since I started using 5.2 but are catsuits meant to look like that? It looks like they reflect lighting weirdly or something.

That's just an all in one DLL, nothing else. Nothing new about it, other than it should work with any SE/AE version. If your DD is working fine, there is no need for it. If you're getting an error on launching the game that the DLL is not compatible, you should try it.

Going by the bit on the hip, are you using the right version of bodyslides for your body? That looks like you have UNP body or catsuit with CBBE/3BA catsuit or body.

 

Yes, the are shiny, but i've not seen a shine like that. If you've got the right bodyslides for your body, maybe try with enb off.

If you're having problems downloading from mega, try the google drive mirror on the troubleshooting post. 

You can also test the archive with 7zip, just don't extract it. 

 

The uploaded archive is fine, so it's something with your internet connection when downloading it.

you were right it was enb, but what setting could it be? Using Silent Horizons ENB if that helps narrowing it down at all.

No idea. I use a mostly default silent horizons and have never seen that. i just turn off bloom and dof and rarely tweak anything else.

Backup your enb config and reinstall it, and see if you get the same issue with a vanilla SH config. then update your settings one at a time to see what it could be.

Could also update the enb binaries if you haven't updated them in a while.

welp, that fixed it ig? I don't even remember what I apparently changed about the SH I was using but ig something was messed up, ty for the help!

Any way for me to check if the scripts are being overwritten? I am using Vortex

Check the lightning bolt. beyond that, i dont remember, you might actually have to read vortex's internal help.

I don't believe it's being over written by anything. Just to make sure, I reinstalled it and made sure it gets loaded after anything it might conflict with. Same issues

Does anyone know if it is possible to cancel animations while they are running or ever stop them from playing all together(without disabling the event)?

I'm having some issues with a couple of devices, and I'm not sure what is I'm doing wrong.

 

Ankle chains/fetters appear in a broken mess and hover without moving, though the sound still occurs. If it's a ball and chain, the ball and chain combo doesn't appear at all.

 

Also, the elbow shackles don't seem to trigger an animation.

 

I've run FNIS and Bodyslide multiple times, so I figured it was time to see what was wrong here.

Do you have FSMP installed and working? if chains aren't moving or are on/under the ground, that's a indication your SMP is broken or non existant.

When i play elin race, dd seem broken hair and tail smp.

it happens when i change clothes, smp just stopped for few second.

After that smp might be back, but sometimes not

it's not matter though, but watch my tail being straight hard like dick is kind of ridiculous

is there any way to choose only specific theme for devices? I mean, if there is any way to choose only (or mostly) ROPE themed devices, which will show up. (for example on Deviously Cursed Loot - there is plenty of devices with different materials, what I want is, that only ROPE Devices would occur. If that is even possible. Thank you for answer. By the way, great mod.

Devious Devices is just a framework. This framework doesn't equip anything on you. Other mods do the equipping so you need check with whichever mod is doing the equipping.

That's an SMP issue not a DD issue, go check with that's mod's support. 

 

Wouldn't recommend using the Elin race anyway. A lot of things in sexlab and sexlab mods treat it as a 'child' or loli race because they can be so small, and disable features. Not saying that's what you're doing, but if you run into problems AFTER fixing the SMP issue, it will likely be due to your race.

hi so all the boxtie binders turn my character and other npcs invisible when equipped. i did build them in body slide but i didn't see any options specifically for the boxtie binders.

i have sluts and pah mods as well as zaz stuff and the zaz box tie rope work just fine.

 

ok so i downloaded and installed the unp bodyslide files but didn't switch bodyslide over and now the body does spawn in with the boxtie binder.

Im not sure, but it seems like the binder doesn't have the cbbe body files but has the unp ones or is trying to load in the unp ones. the rest of my character is cbbe as are all npcs currently.
