There is no animation system in place or any system where you can actually observe her fucking people. For that you can use the myriad of 4play mods.
Desirekills Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Do i have to start a new playtrough to trigger companion quest? Så far i been spending several hours ingame with her without getting any quest. Been getting some "honest living" money, nothing else? Cold you enlighten me how her affinity system works, plz?

Så far i been spending several hours ingame with her without getting any quest. Been getting some "honest living" money, nothing else? Cold you enlighten me how her affinity system works, plz? Each time you talk to Ivy, her chat count is raised. The more you talk to her, the more she gets to know you. After 20 chats she starts to like you, After 40 chats she falls in love, After 60 chats she loves you deeply.. Then there's some more random dialogue at higher numbers. Sleeping in a bed with Ivy adds affinity quicker, assuming there was 'after sex chatter'.. The bad customer radiant quests are supposed to start after 20 chats, then the counter should reset to 0 and stay there until the quest is run, after which it starts counting up again; under the condition that her prostitution is active. I've not had Ivy give me the random quests either in my latest play through... and I was just about to look into why this isn't happening. You can always start a bad customer quest through the immersion breaking debug routines, but I'll expect to fix it and upload the fix soon(ish). 1

Olmech Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Have just installed Ivy, so everything is new. Gotta say that I am very impressed thus far! I even like the radio. You obviously put a lot of thought into this mod... 1

mudhutwarrior Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 I got here running without the brown face and she plays well. Starting to like her. One question though. She always offers it but I haven't a clue how to get it going. Both flirt and solicit hotkeys have no effect. Either way appreciate the effort, shes a doll. 1

You're welcome here! Come sit at the bar, share your stories and screenshots of Ivy... On Ivy news. After a 3 day break slowly getting back to phase 4 of Ivy. Added some load screens, been testing out the custom player home I'm making for players to enjoy their stay with Ivy, which is also where they will initially find her (let's call it her 'final' finding place). I've also added some load screen info, giving tips, hints and lore about Ivy to entertain you while you load your game. The custom player house (it's actually a dungeon) is a buildup to the custom quest and mini campaign on Ivy's backstory. I'm also looking in on Codsworth code, to see how I can incorporate player names into her dialogue. Would be cool to record a list of say 500 common names and have her use your chosen name (anywhere she might use 'master' or 'mistress' now). I've found some minor things I want to tweak in my (now longer) playthrough for Ivy, which will be part of the next release (4.0) coming somewhere in a couple of weeks, hopefully. In even more other news, I spent an hour this morning going over all HN66's models to add Cherry's physics. After playing with Ivy for a while, witnessing the physics in action on the Easygirl clothes is pretty cool. I borked Maxxon's coat though, so I'll have to restore that to the original at some point. Very NSFW(!) Custom underground dungeon with workbench so players can do their own stuff there. Yeah it's just a stone room but the light and the 3 kitties, of which 2 are real cats, make it homely enough. 3

On each quest that has dialogue - Im assuming you have a MASTER dialogue quest, yes? Anyways, on each quest that houses Ivy dialogue, create a reference alias for the PlayerREF. Then, you should be able to put <Alias=PlayerREF> in your dialogue lines so that it will substitute the players name for the <> stuff. So if you made the line : Hey <Alias=PlayerREF>! I'm so fucking horny right now. Let's fuck. It would come out onscreen to the player as: Hey Nate! I'm so fucking horny right now. Let's fuck. It works for me in Message forms, Book forms, terminals, etc... though in those cases, the specific forms NEED to have an owning quest that houses a PlayerREF alias... The included screenshot shows me using <Alias> tags for Locations, Companion Names and Player Name, dynamically updated via a Message form.

Please don't make the Easygirl outfits a hard dependency. I'm not a fan of those shortened calves nor any others that truncate the legs. I know we don't have a proper HH system yet, but those short and stumpies are... unpleasant. I take all the outfits I download and remove all the shoes/boots/heels so can I dress my girls in glass heels from the zipsuit mod. Anyone else who's mussed about in BS/OS will know that this can be a chore with some outfits. Regardless, I'm liking 3.0. Her, "EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!" caught me off guard, and I thought a bunch of synths ported in behind me. I use SKK Combat Stalkers at max difficulty and shortest frequency, so I end up doing a lot of fighting just trying to cross the road. Needless to say, her in- and post- combat audibles are working as expected. I love her location awareness. Was wondering if capturing Zimonja would lead to more caps from "honest living" or is it just flavor text for now? If maybe not Zimonja or Revere, maybe activating the various smaller satellite arrays around the commonwealth could boost her earnings. Just a thought. Not like it's a lot of caps, but maybe something for later on down the road. Oh, is she scripted to randomly shutdown at the most inopportune times? I was fighting a group of stalkers via the SKK mod just north of Abernathy, and then the raiders from the other side of the river by the electrical tower joined in on the fight against me as well. Dogs, raiders, synths, and even gunners were charging up the riverbank towards me, and all I see is Ivy's subtitles saying something about malfunctions and overrides. I turn around to see what's up, and she had done that synth shutdown animation. Finally, when there were only two or three enemies left, she wakes up and says, "What just happened?" and then rejoins the fight. I wasn't even talking to her when all this started going down, so not sure if she just bugged out or was playing her lines as scripted. Either way, not game-breaking at all, but I kept getting the feeling YOU did that on purpose just to fuck with us. LOL Can't wait to see what you're giving us for her backstory quest(s). 1

Thanks for the feedback! No other mod will ever be a dependency for Ivy, I designed her to work on basic Fallout 4 with nothing else. Her sometimes shutting down can be annoying, but she is a prototype synth... and it happens to her, what can I say? Perhaps Dr. Stein wasn't 100% finished when he was forced to leave her in this state... or perhaps something else entirely happened that stopped him from completing all her routines. I added the dialogue for extending the arrays as a thought to later add this as some sort of gameplay opportunity... extend her radio range through extending the arrays. Now her radio has the same range as Diamond City Radio, which is non immersive. Ideally I want her radio transmitter to be 'her' (right now it's a transmitter, placed in Sanctuary). A better option would be to move it every 20 seconds or so to Ivy's location, but I'm afraid gimmicks like that will add instability, so for now I chose not to do anything like that. To make it work, the best way would be to place radio transmitters, transmitting on Ivy's channel (99.69) at the arrays, then trigger them to turn on when the array is extended so Ivy's broadcast range increases. Range is not an issue for her, she teleports out while you are asleep, and is back before you wake up, that's what I tell myself anyway.. 55 minutes ago, Flashy (JoeR) said: Easy. Let me help. The text part <Alias> is actually easy, getting it to play nice in actual voiced dialogue might be a different thing. Ideally you would just want the name to be a dynamic thing. The problem is, I can't insert the names as a dynamic field in the .wav audio. You can't set individual responses in 1 topic based on conditions, you can only condition the entire topic. (use of italics for clarity as the terms can be confusing). So I need to make a separate quest with a SharedTopic info that returns the player name as dialogue, based on conditions. The more names I want to add, the more conditions the topic will have. 1

You might be able to copy that same bite of code and have Ivy Scan the PC's Driver's Licesens in much the same way when she firts meets the PC. 2

I'm glad you're opting to NOT have hard dependencies. (whew!) Currently, range doesn't seem to be an issue. I was thinking more along the lines of after activating two or more of the smaller arrays, she could get a bump in caps earned with more bonus caps the more arrays you "extend". Kind of like how taking Heather to all visit all the junkyards increases her vendor items and such. I think it'd just be a neat little feature for Ivy. Like I said, the caps amount is so little right now that it's little more than flavour text. Maybe once you activate all of small arrays in the CW, that'll unlock a one-time bonus cap earning from a raider bachelor party or some silliness, or it could lead to her having her radio station available in FH or NW—which oddly enough, I never quite make it to either DLCs due to having to restart with Ivy and @Flashy (JoeR)'s RSE updates. Between the two of you, I'm like a kid in a candy store, a very adult, "it smells like Thai food in here", NSFW candy store! Anyways, I didn't mean to go moving her "transmitter" all over the CW. That'd just be bonkers. I never looked into how all the radio stuff worked so I wouldn't recommend any change there unless it was super easy. The way you have it now seems to work quite well at least for me. The temporary shutdowns are neat. I wasn't complaining at all about them. No change needed there. 1
Olmech Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Just gotta say Ivy is far and away the coolest companion ever. If you continue to tinker with her, I would like to see more of the awesome radio content. Cool stuff. I play RSE by @Flashy (JoeR) and Ivy is the ONLY companion to have while running that mod. Peas and carrots man... That's one of the reason why I chose to go full 100% companion only with Ivy. I know there are now really good anims and whatnot out there, if I would add this stuff to Ivy I would just be making her less compatible for players to play with. On the other hand... how cool would it be if she asks for a morning blowjob and/or mouth piss... and it actually happens in-game when you agree? I *am* thinking about making an ADD-ON (read DLC) for Ivy that requires some stuff. So I want to make the DLC-DLC (for the DLC, because DOG I heard you like DLC so I put some DLC in your DLC so you can play DLC while playing DLC)... But besides that I also want to make a 4play enabled Ivy. My problem right now? I have 4Play installed from 2017, as in version 0.1 or something. Never upgraded the framework, nor the animations and I'm not using it any more. So to make 4play DLC for Ivy I'll first need to find a proper way of updating my 4play framework. (edit) Devlopment on Ivy's origin quest has started. A pretty momentous occasion. Stepping over from Quake/D3 editing this is quite a step. Is there even such a thing as visportals needed in this engine? We needed those in D3 to place in between rooms and doors, to block visibility to other rooms... Just an empty cell so far, but made from scratch... now to start churning out content, though I have some hurdles to cross. Not 100% proficient in setting up enemy encounters yet and there will be a hurdle with pre-vis, combining objects, and... ?portals?. All of this will take place inside Ivy's brain. Using a memory lounger the player will dive into Ivy's memories, helping her to find out about her past. Despite the comical background... This is planned to be a more serious affaire than you might expect. I'd really like to dive into the whole ghost in the machine thing, so players might learn that actually being Ivy might not be easy as you might expect. I mean.. how would you react if you suddenly woke up inside a robot body and had programs forcibly add sexual routines to your awareness, forcing such behavior and needs on you? The real Deborah.. the girl inside Ivy.. parts of her might still be in there... whenever I speak to Ivy that thought scares me a little.. at the end of the quest players should have a genuine emotional connection to her, that is the goal of the origin quest. Hopefully if all goes well, the player will play as Ivy herself... first as a child, then as teenager, finally as adult... in a sort of 'scrouge' kind of adventure.... 5
