swordofthesun Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 @mrrakkonn, I tried a few of the things you suggested (altered the chin and applied some of the skin shading details). I also changed out the hair of both because I realized their hair looked a bit similar to my other characters (and the blue haired girl's hair shape was the exact one as the blond girl's hair earlier). I'm slightly happier Thanks for your help! The more I make stuff the more I realize what a gradual process it is. It's never 100% perfect the first time so I just need to get used to experimenting. 7

The fuck, man? ?I downloaded that beach mod -the one that converts Granite Falls into tropical beaches with beach houses. It looks beautiful! Then I played with it. No swimming, not even walking in the water. It was depressing. Looking for something else to take my mind off of that, I decided to sunbathe. Ooops, wrong game! Okay, let's build a sand castle, anything. Nope. The only thing to do is jogging, or use a pool (at the beach)! It's like going to a beach house and listening to everyone shouting and laughing, playing in the water, while you're stuck inside doing homework -so damn depressing. That mod went bye-bye. 6

I think I can see a couple of things that might help, it's looking like the pelvis bone needs to be rotated outwards so its horizontal and in line with the upper body and then bring the legs back down via the thigh bones, To have a sim in a horizontal position it's best to use the root bone first rather than the spine bones, The upper body part can be tricky around the shoulders as its prone to deforming but it helps to begin with the clavicle bones to avoid that pinching effect, rotating them upwards and sometimes forward or back a bit can help, the shoulder twist bones can be useful for correcting the pinches at times by slightly grabbing or rotating to suit too, I hope this helps and feel free to ask if I can make anything clearer ? I need patience to fiddle around with the rig. I've grabbed Turbo's male rig and will try using that. I'll try that with the clavicle bones - Thanks 1

I don't see any options for that... Do you use a special code to do that? And another general question... does anyone know how to make trees stay solid in the game so that sims can pose right next to a tree and you can zoom in without the tree disappearing? 1
