Thank you. She's not the only one but I really like with some sims to really try to make them look a bit more bland or just really different without makeup, especially if I have them wear pretty distinctive makeup in most of their outfits.

Here's some examples, some chosen because I remembered them having a somewhat distinct difference between the "no makeup look" and how they look with, especially in party outfits and such, and some chosen more at random from the top of my library at the moment. Technically I guess you could say the "no makeup look" also uses makeup as I use some CC makeup I have for natural lip colors and face blemishes (I typically turn down the opacity on these to 50% or less to make them more subtle) and such to sort of accentuate the difference and make it perhaps look a bit more real.

Townie makeovers. It's something that a lot of people like to do.

When it comes to makeovers, I tend to keep EA sims as recognizable as possible. I can appreciate the fact that a lot of people want to totally put their own spin on these sims but I tend to keep them mostly intact. Skin details, some new hair and some different makeup is usually how I approach them.

 

But we all know that there are some EA sims that just need that extra helping hand.

L. Faba is one that particularly stands out like a sore thumb to me so here's my version.

Usually I don't make my sims available for download but since L. Faba technically isn't "my" sim and since there's almost no CC required, why not. You've certainly shared some nice stuff with the community so a sim pales in comparison. In fact, I'll post her here so if anyone else wants her, they're more than welcome. The zip file contains the tray files only.

I can totally relate to this. When I also edit townies I try to stay faithful to their original design and just change something minor in their appearance.

But yes.. there are cases when the changes need to more drastic. I did that as well, with Cassandra Goth (made her somewhat resemble her mother and darkened her skintone), the Charm family, Simeon (shortened his hair, got rid of his beer gut and made him a hunk) and L. Faba in my story. BUT, your L. Faba makeover is leagues higher than mine. She looks absolutely HOT.

Many thanks! The developers really did the bulk of the work though. All I did was a little facial reconstruction and made her a little more voluptuous. When I found a suitable hairstyle for her, that was it. Her make up and outfits allow her stand out from the crowd and I had nothing to do with that. The devs had put a unique look together and I wanted to stay within those confines so that people would know it was L. Faba when they looked at my version. Hard to say if I achieved that but I'm happy with the way she turned out and I'm glad that others like it.
