snowdog04 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Ok, so I managed to move Nikita over to Heather's save, and after finally getting that to work, and getting Nikita all her spells back (she forgot all spells and potions, but kept her spellcaster rank and perks), it dawned on me that I did it the hard way. Why didn't I just start Heather fresh in NIKITA's world? Seeing as she had, like, a week of progress at that point. /facepalm  Anyway, I came up with a story for the whole ordeal. Nikita is, or was, a famous singer-songwriter. She couldn't go anywhere without fans freaking out over running into her, or paparazzi snapping pictures. When she learned spellcasting, she acquired an enormous Newfie named Ralph as a familiar. She can hold conversations with him, though he sometimes has to remind her that no one else hears him and she sounds like a crazy dog lady. One nice, mild summer day they went to GeekCon, and things went sideways for her...  7

mrrakkonn Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Since I so enjoyed putting together my Halloween party story last year, I decided to take a break from lying down being sick to get slightly started on putting together costumes for my sims. I probably won't be using the same sims and costumes I used last year, if I can help it. So I guess starting early and finding out what I can put together with the clothes and accessories and stuff I already have is a decent move, because choosing exactly which sims to use and what costumes they might wear (and if necessary, what new I can find and download) will probably take some time.           11

erplederp Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 My game is currently on a pre-Island Living version and I'm considering updating the game to the latest one. Are the major mods (such as MCCC, UI Cheats, Pose Player, WW for me) working with it properly, supposing I update them? Or are there any serious known issues with the latest version? Can the update mess up the saves, the tray or the installed mods (would it be better to move the folders during the update)? I'd like to avoid creating a separate version of the game this time, because I'm running low on disk space. ? Sorry for the off-topic questions, people, but perhaps some of you run the latest version and know this stuff.
