Think I've finished up updating this nightclub lot that I've used for a couple of stories in the past (past incarnations of it that is), I think it's looking better than before now and I've finally actually got a name for it that I kind of like, Club 503. It kind of sounds like a real club name, and the name also funny to me because I chose it "in honor" of the many times I've uploaded pictures to this site and been smacked down with 503 errors and the like ? 

 

Also, since I'm going to be uploading this (probably later today), I thought I'd just ask if anyone had an opinion on which image would make the best header photo for the download description. I've normally used exterior shots for the header images for lots in the past, but in this case it might be more appropriate to use one of the club floor images maybe.

Began working on a makeover of sorts of the Caliente household (and Don Lothario, since he's part of that household in Sims 4), though really it's perhaps more of a re-imagining. I'm basing it mostly on stuff I've read on the fan wiki and picking and choosing, and most of what I chose were the Sims 2 bits and parts of the appearance from a console game I didn't know existed way back. So I'm going back to the Caliente sisters being the children of Flamenco and Nighat Caliente and of Spanish(?) and Arab descent, so my re-imagining kind of leaves out their mother Katrina from the Sims 4 version, I'm also going to leave out them being aliens/hybrids, because that's not really my kind of deal. 

 

  

 

    

 

It's still pretty tentative and they definitely need more work before I think I am done, though often as not putting my finger on exactly what requires a of time and then coming back to them. Still a good enough start I believe. 

Also, though I didn't make the Caliente sisters off their genetics, I did put together their parents in case I felt like I needed to (both kind of cobbled together from some sims I wasn't currently using). By the Sims 2 narrative, which I mostly based these on, they are supposed to be dead it seems, but in my version of the family I guess they might be alive, or not, I'll cross that bridge when I get there

I guess Elodies Grandpa Thomas is worth to show him up here too - this poor guy loses his wife early in course of cancer, their only offspring, a female, left her young daughter and became herself a vampire... she is lost... hope once she can join the game again. Much later in life Thomas detected, he prefers male partners, like so many born in the late 1940th born rl guys. Thomas still searches for romantic love.

 

But first let us give Maxis / EA facials a chance ?

Thanks a lot, dear - but as much often the puzzle mostly relies on the skin / overlay by the creator - TIT (ThisIsThem) and "Joe´s facemask". And the poses are perfect for Thomas too.

 

I guess 40 if not 50 percent of well looking alpha sims show up well in course of the used skin / overlay or facemasks. TIT is often so awesome, or bit too real. I just had to find some CC in harmony with this skins (here the eyelenses "plasticity", skin details, eyebrows and makeup by RemusSirion.

I guess you're right, you'd know best. Either way I do think the general face structure and features seem pretty good on this guy.

Before I get him (Thomas) in my claws again.... he would show up at the gallery like this - in between the python upgrade last year. Waiting like some others (uuuh his lover Umberto).... but activ in game too. OMD... this nice 3D beards!

I updated Bella's Halloween costume to be even more spooky (especially from behind ?) and made a very spooky story to go with it. Starring Bella Goth herself as the demoness and good old outstanding citizen Vlad Straud as the old man, her unfortunate prey. More than 30 pictures in the spoiler.

 

A shadow appeared on the road to the manor in the middle of the night. An evil presence.

 

A demoness was approaching the manor. Clicking of her heels on cold stones echoed softly into the dark. The tell-tale sign of a seductress, a lesser hell-spawn which dooms men.

She stopped at the iron-wrought gate for a brief moment, as if to make sure this is the right place, before crossing the front yard.

 

Using her unnatural powers, the demoness flew over the stairs. Her wings didn't move an inch.

 

In another display of her twisted magicks, the uninvited guest silently opened the massive front door without laying a single finger on them. Her eyes locked on her prey across the hall. An unsuspecting old man, playing an archaic instrument.

 

The disharmonious music covered the sound of her footsteps as she approached the frail old man. The demoness slowly lifted her arm and put her most powerful spell on him, that which binds his will to her command.

 

Soon, this whole manor and the surrounding estate will be hers. After all, it takes only a single signature.
The demoness: "You are mine now."
The man slowly rested his hands on his knees and the music stopped. He turned his head to the intruder.
The old man: "Excuse me, you were saying...?"

 

With an unexpected speed, the old man stood up from his chair as a black cloud surrounded him. His visage changed. He was not old, he was ancient. And although he was slender, he certainly was not weak.

 

The "old" man: "Booo!"
The demoness recoiled in a surprise. Something went wrong.
The "old" man: "I apologize, it is a traditional thing. Let me introduce myself properly. My name is Vladislaus Straud, but my friends call me Vlad. Needless to say, the petty magicks of your kind do not work on me."

 

Vlad: "Let me show you what the real power looks like, young lady."
Vlad snapped his fingers effortlessly and spirals of black smoke enveloped the demoness. Suddenly, she felt cold air on her skin.

 

The smoke vanished. To her dismay, her already scant clothes were completely gone too.

 

The demoness found herself unable to move her legs. Was it a part of Vlad's spell...? Embarrassed, she covered herself the best she could.
Vlad: "No, no. Let us have a better look at you."

 

The tone of Vlad's voice made it impossible to resist as an ancient magic was in play. The unfortunate demoness was no longer in control of her limbs.

 

The demoness' body assumed an indecent pose. Vlad stared at her intently, as if assessing something.

 

Occasionally, he would mumble a few indistinct words to himself.

 

Vlad's face brightened slightly as he arrived at a conclusion.
Vlad: "You will do nicely, in fact..."

 

Vlad: "Let us move to my chamber. We have an important matter to attend to."

 

The demoness had no choice but to follow him as her body moved on its own again.

 

In her head, she was preparing for the worst. It was a bedroom.

 

Vlad motioned towards the chair near the window.
Vlad: "Would you take a seat for a moment, please?"

 

The demoness sat down in the alcove and glanced into the darkness outside. No one is coming to her rescue in this remote place.

 

Vlad: "Like a proper lady. Let me get my tools."
Her body listened to the command. Tools? The demoness' imagination ran wild and her eyes widened with fear. Is he going to torture me? Vlad started rummaging in a nearby closet...

 

...and then presented a worn easel...

 

...and a blank canvas he immediately started to cover with fast and deliberate brush strokes. He peeked at her from time to time to measure a distance or size against his thumb. For the moment, the demoness felt an unusual combination of embarrassment, relief and annoyance. What a creep!

 

Vlad: "There, it is done. That was not so bad, was it?"
Vlad carefully hung the still drying painting on a nearby wall.

 

Vlad: "You are free to go now. Leave my home."
At this moment, Vlad changed back to his original, regular-looking form and turned to walk away. The demoness sat speechless even as she regained the control over her body.
Vlad: "What? Did you think I would chain you in a dungeon now? Or force myself on you? ... Please! I am not a pervert. Besides, I am too old for that. These days I appreciate only my art and regular bowel movement. But you had to be punished for the trespassing, with an evil intent no less."
Not that kind of pervert, thought the demoness, but said nothing. He made sense somehow.

 

Vlad left the room, leaving the demoness alone to her thoughts.

 

The demoness stopped by the painting to look at it properly. She had to admit Vlad's technique is perfect, although it was somewhat hindered by poor lighting.

 

Vlad was waiting for her patiently in the entrance hallway.
The demoness: "What about my clothes?"
Vlad: "Sorry about those, my dear, the spell is irreversible. But it is still the middle of the night. I am sure you will think of something, your kind is creative."
The demoness kept looking at him with doubt in her eyes. Vlad sighed and snapped his fingers once more.
Vlad: "Alright, you can have these. People can not say I am cruel to my guests. Go now, before I change my mind."

 

The demoness left the manor the way she came, albeit a bit lighter in the clothing department, and Vlad returned to his favourite instrument.

 

It did not turn out too bad, considering the circumstances, pondered the demoness. I have to do a more thorough investigation before visiting the next mark though.

 

Anyway, who knows, I might even visit this man again sometime. We could arrange some kind of a deal with those paintings. They would sell really well.

 

Now, why is my neck itching? ... When did he...?!

? I know what you mean and I was lucky to get a natural look to the position ? was a pic I saw that looked hot and I thought I'd better get it out of my head before I forget ?
