What I'm actually thinking is that I am going to be spending tomorrow and probably most the weekend doing a complete reinstall and rebuild of Skyrim because this current, 4-6 week old, clusterfuck is driving me crazy. Note the 8.3 FPS. Not bad from machine with a Ryzen 5 2400G with Vega 11 graphics and 32MB of RAM.

Doing some final testing of pirate camp placement. 

 

 

I gave Nai'yari some gloves/boots that are slight leather re-textures of goma's black widow set.  They fit really well with the rest of her outfit.

 

 

I also went through and checked

to make sure I had all the texture paths correct.  Tedious as hell, but I don't want any careless oversights like I had for the initial release.

might wanna get rid of the glitchy "smp" body you have while you're at it.

I have just finished engineering a technique that lets me make complicated edits to a head nif in blender that I can port directly into skyrim! 

 

Ordinarily, you can only do minor stuff like transforms because blender and nif/obj export have a nasty habit of re-numbering vertices when using the more sophisticated tools, even if you tell the stupid fucking thing DO NOT RE-NUMBER OR RE-ORDER ANY VERTEX.  This makes absolutely no difference for armor or body meshes but it TOTALLY destroys the ability to import a face onto a vanilla poly head.

 

 

But by converting it into a .trishape morph similar to how the nymph races are set up, I finally managed to jerry-rig an exported mesh back into skyrim, which I then applied to an existing head in nifskope.  It is very convoluted, to say the least, but I have yet to find any other technique that can actually pull this off.

Subdividing, symmetrizing, face beautification, all of it seems to work as long as the total vertex count remains the same and it thus remains a valid shapekey for a trishape morph.

Messing with a skeleton's head.

 

Entered Whiterun Hall of the Dead looking for a follower I've just installed. Not in the foyer/public area so I step through the door into the HotD proper. Immediately attacked by a skeleton. No problem thinks I, just hit the Z key for the Untamed add to pack thing.

 

 

Oops. Key is currently on TDFAPP dance. The skeleton just stopped dead and stared. ? ? ? I can't stop laughing.


 

Turned out the follower was in the Temple of Kynareth.

Best shield ever if you don't want to run around with some huge wooden table on your hand

also absorbs magic AND GLOWS IN THE DARK =D

can be even worn in the city as jewelery ;D

has stagger effect if mage spells hit that force field too hard
