Just taken the road from Darkwater Crossing to Kynesgrove.

 

En route I fought:

1. Gleipnir x 1 (deserter/bandit types from Enemy Plus)

2. Infected Skeever x 1 and Assassin x 1

3. Gleipnir x 3, Gleipnir Corporal x 1, Gleipnir Armoured Troll x 1

4. Wolf x 3

5. Wolf x 1

6. Wolf x 2

7. Gleipnir Armoured Husky x 2, Wolf x 1, Gleipnir Captain x 1, Gleipnir Armoured Troll x 1, Gleipnir x 1. This fight also involved a giant, a mammoth, an imperial patrol and a passing heavy-armoured elf called Nar or something on my side. The wolf was taking on all-comers.

Today, I began working on a mini-mod specifically designed for Cowflop farm roleplay over in Rorikstead (obscure, I know). I'm focusing on the slavetats side of things at the moment; first one done already. I also have a WIP collar mesh on standby - Its going to be a rusty metal collar a few chains hanging down; connected to a small, wooden nametag of sorts (the sort of thing you'd expect a farmer to cobble up, roleplay-wise).

I've been doing a lot of Dawnguard quests lately.

I often switch up Serana's appearance to keep things interesting. This time I'm using Seranaholic 1_8 but with some tweaks.

I don't get this puzzle. I just keep hitting the buttons until it solves itself.

So I got one of those Dawnguard quests where you have to rescue one of your "friends." It turns out I had to rescue Carlotta Valentia from Silent Moons Camp. I get down there at night and there was her daughter wandering around. I guess she's configured to follow her mother around during certain hours. She could have been a late night snack for sabrecats or wolves heading out there on her own.

The save I was using for the main character of the new blog is too horribly broken to continue, so... I spent most of the weekend, along with Monday, and Tuesday night building a new, stable mod list, and patching Northern Roads so it won't break all my landscape additions. Last night, I basically remade my favorite, unwilling vampire milf, Nadja from scratch, and got a bunch of screenshots to use in her upcoming blog entry. Here are a few I've finished editing:

Nadja got a new set of armor, courtesy of the Sentinel Equipment overhaul, which was generously ported over to LE. I optimized a lot of the textures, and used Xtudo's retexture of the Stormcloak/Guard armor to give those the look I wanted, and the result is perfection. Nadja's new greatsword comes from JRC's Witcher swords, which is pretty much the only weapon mod I need now, thanks to Sentinel. If her skin looks different, it's because I've spent hours creating my own mashup of various normals, diffuse, and specular textures, using assets from some of the best mods available. 

 

I'm really happy with the way this mod list turned out, and I can't imagine ever going back to the old blended roads/medieval blended roads combo I was using. I will probably end up redoing the lower part of Whiterun and retexturing its walls to match the architecture of my rebuilt Riverwood at some point to reflect the damage done by the numerous battles during which the city changed hands throughout the story. 

 

I'm using a great, old mod called Justice, which adds gibbets and cages with corpses in them outside every hold in Skyrim to reflect the ongoing war, and the chaos it brings. I'm using another mod that adds executions in all the holds, along with Dawnguard, and Vigilants patrolling to reflect the current state of Skyrim in my story.

Since Balgruuf took back control of Whiterun, he's been cracking down on crime. Yeah... Those walls need a retexture to reflect being battered by trebuchet damage, but since one doesn't exist, I'll have to make it myself...

 

Anyway... The new blog will come out this weekend.

Currently scratching my head. I've been playing skyrim since 2012 and I have been to Valtheim Towers more times than I can count and I don't remember ever seeing the loaf of bread cleaved in two by an axe. I must have seen it and maybe forgot? It's just so strange that I only now made note of it. Anyway, I saw it and thought it was funny. Still finding new things in skyrim all these years later.

To this day, I still find things in the game that I never found before. Yesterday I also found a chest that I have never seen before, and also a location with ruins.
