Stop it. I'm not here to get into a dick measuring contest on subjective matter. So instead, consider me just sharing a couple of SE screenshots and that's it:

Call me when you can enter a thread and not be abrasive or as if someone shit in your cereal.

Heh. It's kind of funny that an SE supporter (I assume, based on your generally posting in the SSE subforum) is trying to catch me out not for bashing SE, but for actually having something positive to say about it.

If I believe that an incomplete Alpha is not a release, it's not an "inaccuracy" to refuse to call it that. A test version with so many features missing - even if there are workarounds for some (but not all!) of them - is not something I consider a release version.

Sure, sometimes the waters are muddied with software (even more so with mods), where a product can technically be in Alpha or even Beta for months or years but is really a finished product. But I would not consider Racemenu SE to be in this state.

More to the point, if you read the statements put out by the very team which is working on Racemenu the previous Alphas were not "official". Expired stated very clearly on the LE page that prior versions are only distributed informally for testing purposes.  The release earlier this month is the first one to have enough features that the Racemenu team have released it "officially".

You really going to sit here and double down?

This isn't about you bashing SE, or even having something positive to say about it(did you even, really, though). It has everything to do with clarity and accuracy.

SKSE64 was what was in Alpha(essentially alpha in name), and removed the Alpha tag/moved to Beta at the beginning of April.

https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/8ad1o5/skse64_has_moved_into_beta/

Racemenu is still Alpha as per expired's github page - "Alpha 6"(released 15 days ago as of this post).

https://github.com/expired6978/SKSE64Plugins/releases

And if what I'm saying here is incorrect, I'll gladly fix it.

you play with a playstation 1?

180502064709132808.jpg

that was with a gtx 580 1280 mb

and i played enderal with it

180502064658548661.jpg

didn't had 60 fps with a radeon 8gb later either

as for modding skyrim or nothing special edition

180502073343170819.jpg

while modders are busy porting their mods to sse, they don't make new stuff

nothing new to test? players go play something else

some were saying sse was the death of skyrim? look like sse is the death of sse too

and there's always something to add

because of there's still some players left

180502062918946476.jpg

but if npcs no longer always wear the same thing, they are harder to find

180502063122606532.jpg

instead of using one armor replacer, why not use a 4 or 8?

180502062941579645.jpg

uilist is used for something else than sexlab?

it's better than those rings, console commands or whatever

180502062953625602.jpg

something to distribute npc replacer head faster to npc?

npc replacers dont take of npcs from mods

they don't take care of a lot of npcs

180502063139252614.jpg

not much for draugrs too

180502063235547451.jpg

etc etc, you look at something, there's something that can be updated

Dang, if these shots don't make LE fans think twice about the supposed limitations of SE, nothing will.

what's special about those screens?

lighting?

if the one that made enb said he couldn't port some things

that mean those things aren't in sse, whatever they are

and you sse isn't free for everyone, some won't buy it to have the pleasure to port their load order for...

it's you that play sse, if there's some stuff that is better, go ahead, make a list

I suppose so right, but in the end it's subjective.

27X doesn't understand that when I said "equally worthy" it wasn't about subjective visuals, though I bet they tried to serve it up, thinking SE was going to look like shit.

What it's really about, is the weighing of the pros and cons of mod selection, stability, speed, available tools, bugs(SE has some new ones) and fixes for them, and deciding on which version of the game matches how you're currently wanting to play it(or your meta). That's the stuff that can be better measured, instead of pissing contests comparing screenshots of visual setup, where folks will have nuanced preferences.

subjective

Wrong.

The reason I used graphic mods specifically and three injectors is because these do not exist in SSE, period. Factually.

64 is more stable and faster, 32 is better looking and has much more robust support and mod variety. Those are facts.

I don't do opinions.

Must be hard knowing when your Skyrim looks good or bad since you don't do opinions.

The person doing subjective 'analysis' is you.

64 doesn't do per sample ambient screen space colorization, SSS, ambient bounce, active bounce, backlighting or sample based tonemapping/specular highlighting. It doesn't have a reflection based two pass water shader on top of a volumetric distortion shader.

Whether you think the shots are 'good' or not is immaterial, what is actually occurring during the rendering pass is not.

You should have just posted these reasons initially instead of posting screenshots that, depending on the eye of the beholder, depict a game that looks subjectively good, subjectively bad or somewhere in-between.  Instead, you wrote,

"Yeah call me when SSE looks remotely anything even kinda like this."

Which sounds like a call-out for subjective opinions if I've ever heard one.

Your rambling posts can't seem to decide if you're sticking up for SSE, dismissing it, or just randomly looking for dunks where there are none. Given you seem to be... displeased with more than one person ITT, I'm reminded about the old "If everyone you meet is an asshole..." bromide.

I will say that, you're correct that RaceMenu has still not been officially released by Expired and the team (reasons stated above). However, the reason that *I* thought the current Alpha was up on Nexus SE, was because there was an unauthorized port in early April (which has now been deleted). I look at SSE mods too, in case something interesting comes up and noticed RaceMenu at the time as anyoen would with a big mod like that, but didn't go so far as to verify the author, because why the hell would I? My reaction was no more than "Oh hey, it's out for SSE now."

If you still wan to rant about me lying (what would the point of that even be? LoversLab street cred? LOL), you or anyone for that matter can feel free to verify the removed page here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16410 You can easily check the date (and the fact that it was Racemenu) via a minute on Google or by simple comparison of the mod page's reference number.

So where does that leave us? Back to where we started: Racemenu is largely feature-incomplete and has not been released in any official capacity, with no immediate prospects for such a release.

So... hooray for SSE then?

I could believe that at least SOME mods must be better in SSE, but I would have no clue what they might be.

A list of mods which are superior (or claimed to be) in SSE would interest me too.
