Thanks for the support! If it disappears, the boot process completed ok. If it stays on-screen it is helpful information to see where it became stuck in the process.
Uncle64 Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Got one issue. Bet there is one fix for it but I cant find it. For some reason I end up in female position as male. Tested random buttons to but no avail.

Or, the animation packs you are using do not include gender assignments. In the early days of AAF there was concern that gender assignments prevented people from using their gender preferences. So, turning off assignment and allowing animations to omit definitions was allowed as a quick fix. The proper way to address this though is to ALWAYS include gender definitions in animations. But, make additional sets of XML with whatever additional variations people want.

AAF just follows the instructions content authors give it. So, if they don't include gender definitions it will just place characters in those roles [semi]-randomly.

foxminoso Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 i got trouble an error that say ingame , error aaf 072 animation loading stop for stability when i hit the dialogue button animation dont lunch , and i don't even got the dialogue window i tryed to reinstalled AAF but still don't got the dialogue window i dont find any fix for it

yankee4dtm Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 So I've had an issue pop up that I suspect might be related to AAF or one of it's plugins, and I was wondering if anyone here had experienced anything similar. A few days ago started a new game with AAF. The last time I tried it was shortly after release before there was much content for it, so I haven't used it in quite a while. For my new run, SEU didn't want to work for me, but Violate ran as advertised so I figured "good enough." Around an hour in, my game crashed. No big deal, this is a Bethesda game - it happens all the time. Fired the game back up, loaded my last save... and instead of being in the apartment from the Darlene mod, I was in the basement under Sanctuary. All the pop up notifications I got from mods when I first started the character show up again - all of them, not just the AAF stuff. Holotapes and support items from said mod are also added to my inventory.. I should have still had most of them, but the originals had vanished. Any save game I load (manual or auto) has this happen, not just the most recent. I was only an hour or so into that playthrough, so I figured I'd just start over from a different location since I use Start me Up. This time I get quite a bit farther, covered more ground, finished a few quests, had plenty more AAF scenes. Then I got another crash where reloading the save gave me all the new-game messages again. This time I noticed a lot of my weapons and armor were missing as well - vanilla game equipment all seemed to be there, and some of the gear I still had was from mods, but it appeared that anything that would have been added to the game world through a script had been removed. One of my manual saves had been made after killing a particular mod-added NPC, but reloading that save had them still alive, in front of me, pissed off and me without any weapon equipped - the gun I should have had in hand was from a mod that places things in world with scripts. Now it's not as simple as "crash makes the game forget scripts had been run." On both of those playthroughs, I had recovered from other crashes without real issue - in fact I'll point out that I had recovered from crashes that happened while an AAF scene was playing, but neither of the catastrophic crashes occurred while AAF was in use. That said, I've never seen an issue like this before, and the only new additions to my load order are bodytalk, the fusion girl body, the ZeX skeleton, and AAF with SEU, Violate, MSWL, plus a few themes and anim packs. I have a papyrus log from when I tried to reload after the last crash... I'm guessing a 31.5 MB log file is a bad sign. I can provide that along with load order/mod list from MO2 if anyone is interested.

What MO do you use since MO2 should not place AAF.ESM at that place. You also need to sort up your left side since it is not correct. Have you used standalone LOOT for sorting your load?

This may not be one AAF issue. There are .f4se files there with the save games... some of the older ones are a fair bit larger than the ones right before the crash. I only checked the most recent 3 or 4 after the second big crash so I'll try loading up one that's a bit older. I do hope it isn't an AAF issue.

I just updated MO2 the other day to the most recent version. Haven't run LOOT though - don't usually have load order troubles I can't fix by hand but if you think that's whats causing this particular issue I'll definitely give it a try. I'll resort everything and try some of the other saves - and report back if it turns out I was just thinking I was a better modder than I really am. Could have sworn it usually auto-moved the .ESM up to the top, but yeah I should have caught that.

But the one you use should not give that loadorder. Some is wrong. You should consider to create one support tread for your self and also use the information you have given here in it. Include if you did use the installer or the standalone, if you are using one Portal installation. All is about where it will save your files. You may have permission issues.

I ran the load order through loot and successfully loaded up a (much) older save. Looks like everything from the session that ended in the crash is screwed though - a good two hours. Oh well. I don't know much about scripting, but it seems odd to me that it would function in game without issue for so long and then just not work the next time it gets loaded. My mod order in the left pane hasn't changed much in a long, loooong time, so I hadn't manually run loot before this playthrough. I think I'll start this character over with a load order that makes sense from square one. I had noticed before that MO2 wasn't automatically putting .esms to the top of the list when I activated the mod from the left pane, but somewhere I got it in my head that the game would load them first anyway so it didn't really matter or something. Guess this count's as "learning the hard way." I'm no newbie modder, but I guess I need to get back to basics. Again, thanks for your help.

How do i change things so that I'm the "giver," because every sex act that comes up even when i start it has me as the receiver?

Ah I see you got it figured out for now. Had to step out to Denny's for a bite to eat. Lol. Good luck. On a side note, youre papyrus log is a complete mess and is constantly looping and never finished. There is multiple mods throwing off errors and warnings multiple times. I'm no expert in papyrus yet, still learning, so I haven't found the smoking gun sort to speak yet. Hopefully someone else that knows the papyrus logs better (like Ego) will come across this post and maybe offer you some more info.

alwaysfun4319 Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 Wondering if anyone else has seen this issue - I've been successfully using AAF and several animation packs for months ( Its truly impressive development work). In the last week or so, I've started seeing an issue with savage cabbage animations, specifically FFF, FMF, MMF, where the first segment will run just as expected, but changing to any other position triggers one player to trying to load their default outfit and skin. The result is that after one or two seconds they all seem to collide, fly up in the air then land and walk away. Has anyone else run into this and, if so, what did you do about it?

So, something is registering on an actor that they have been hit by some damage-causing thing. (I filter out radiation. But, there could be other types of subtle damage in some areas, etc.) 1
