In an usual use case there will never be a need to for you to unpack a mod and copy files by hand. (Except for SKSE or ENB or if a mod author has specifically provided instructions that you need to do it and what exactly to do). So basically just drop the RAR File in the Drop File section in the Mod list.

Just started a new playthrough and have a new problem with SOS which I've not seen before.

Long story short guys aren't naked but have underpants on, unless I open SOS MCM and add a schlong for each guy individually. Have tried reinstalling SOS and have shifted the load order around a bit. I've not seen this problem before and afik my load order is just as it usually is.

Probably I'm missing something obvious but it's escaped me so far.

If you downloaded the newest version, then you'll have the same .dll as everyone else when it was installed. I only installed it recently as well, with no issues. Something else is causing this. Do you have the most current versions of SKSE64 and SkyUI? Are they the correct versions for your game build? What about Papyrus Utilities? Might not seem related, but stranger things have happened.

Yes the vanilla no clothes thing. basically when I enabled it, it ran into conflict with CBBE, XPMSSE and RR&F (Realistic Ragdolls and Force) and I placed SOS to load before all those.

realistic ragdolls is included in xpsme now so dont need that. SoS should load AFTER everything except xpmse

Used paint.net to erase the parts I didn't want and just renamed them to be the same as in the sexlab framework folder and replaced the original ones.

Oh okeys : )  I'll give that a go.

This is the one that always pops up (so to speak) when I google female schlongs. Never tried it myself as I don't use UNP.

My character's schlong now keeps unequipping, it was fine in the alternative start area but now that I'm in the main game it'll unequip after a few seconds of applying it, is this a common issue or have i fucked something up?

That's the one I'm using, but it applies to literally anything that counts as a schlong, including 3d pubic hair, it just unequips after a few seconds and the menu shows as 'no schlong'.

Npcs are totally unaffected by the disappearing penis mystery.

 

edit: even weirder, just started a new game and quickly got out into the world, pubes and schlong seem to be working fine with the exact same mods loaded

i just don't get it

Figured it out, apparently, if you don't want your dick to disappear, don't set your quiver to be on your waist with XPMSE. Advice to live by.

 

Well, fuck, it's disappeared again, god fucking damnit. At least I'm pretty sure it's related to the skeleton, so hopefully i'll find a way of fixing it.

 

double edit: it's not the skeleton or the quiver position, it just seems to disappear partway through escaping helgen, what the fuck is going on??

i'm just going to try making a new character from scratch, and removing the alternate start and opening improvement mods

 

hopefully final edit: just reached the point where the dick diseappears and it's still there, fought through the whole opening naked in third person with my character's cock and tits swinging around which was fucking hilarious so this was all worth it

 

oh goddamnit not again edit: well it happened again, new character n everything. maybe it happens after a certain amount of time? i can't figure out what triggers it, if i try to requip it (through mcm), it then unequips immediately complete with the unequip sound, this time it happened in gerdur's house, chatted with the boys n cooked some food then bam, no dick.

 

fuck it iithink it's the growable pubic hair shit i'm an idiot and i need to sleeldp now

Dragons and bandits and dungeons full of draugr are a walk in the park compared to the battle of getting Skyrim to run well with all the mods you want : -D

At least, I can confirm it does work well here (at least so far lol), so you do know that it's potentially fixable.
