Ah, I didn't know anything about the differences between each Sexout mod and what not, I literally only wanted to get this one in particular working haha.

 

Seems that the problem was indeed that I didn't have the esm and esp for SCR and only had the data files. Once I got those everything started working fine.

It never has for me. Willow just stands there. I always assumed this would not cause Willow to actually participate.

1. Is the patch for NVWillow 1.01 or above?
2. If it is only for that specific version could you please update your patch to use NVWillow 1.06 or even better 1.07? Updating would allow fixes and other changes from the newer requirement modifications to make their way into your implementation.

I too would like a answer as I just happen to realize that a new version of Willow had been released. I had long since thought that its was a completed mod and no longer updated.

The actual version of the original Willow is up to 1.0.6.

Since this version became final it has worked fine with the various updates. My understanding is that the limited function of this mod is to animate the fade to black scene triggered by dialogue and not to do things like animate Willow's participation in scenes with Sarah or Red Lucy. There have been no changes to the Willow mod which affect that so far as I can tell.

I haven't been playing Fallout and therefore haven't modded in a while. This mod has a very easy setup and everyone willing to take a look is more than welcome. I suspect that only a recompile with current Willow and SO is needed unless there have been major changes to the way the scene is set up in the main Willow mod. I haven't yet taken a look at the newest version. Same goes for Sexout and it's new interface which I haven't yet had a chance to adapt to, though I understand that old syntax still works.

 

Threesome scenes are a bit convoluted and buried in the dialogue system. Setting them up to use animations with correct 1p/2p/3p actors for m/f PC combinations would be necessary, as well as changing dialogue and scripting everything that goes on around the scene. It was easy to implement this in the "vanilla" ftb scene, since most of the work was already done and just needed some minor alterations to work.

 

As said before, this is a public mod, if anyone is up to the task, feel free to make it compatible with current versions of Sexout and Willow. I've learned how to mod Fallout/Sexout with this mod as my first (Fallout-specific) project, so the difficulty level is not that high. Alternatively you can wait until the mood to work on this mod strikes me again, which I won't make any predictions to, as to when that might be.

I am using the lastest sexoutNG and the latest stable version of SCR as well as the most recent update to Willow and get random animations when initiating sex with Willow using the mods unique dialogue options. In the bungalow, sex occurs on the bed. I also get the Amra kissing animation. There have been no updates which affect those things. The only mod I have which even allows threesomes is Sexout Sex and it is initiated through dialogue. With respect to Red Lucy and Sarah Weintraub there is never an opportunity for that sort of dialogue leading up to the ftb scene.  Maybe someone (not me) could make an automatic threesome script not requiring dialogue which would replace those two ftb scenes but it sounds like more trouble than it is worth.  Apart from the significance of those two scenes in the context of the Willow mod, it is possible even without Sexout Willow to have a threesome with Willow and those two npcs just using Sexout Sex and its options and you would not even need to take the Lady Killer /Chez le Femme perk. It would also have no significance to the Willow/Courier story.

In other words, it still works for you? IIRC this mod doesn't have unique dialogue, that's why I'm asking.

It has unique dialogue to start the ftb scene. In the initial scene she has "flirtacious" dialogue which leads to the first scene. To repeat it, you have to ask "Would you do something for me" followed by "I want to make love to you". But, yes, it works for me and has since you uploaded the latest version. Subsequent updates to the Willow mod have had no effect.

Theres a recent mod by Odessa, I think, called Sexout EZ that makes it super simple to call animations from sexout without even adding it as a dependency. For anyone looking for more sex functions than this plugin allows, I'd suggest looking there.

This mod still works for me.  I'm using the 1.06 Willow and the latest Sexout mods.  Only problem was a couple of times in the bungalow the strapon had to be taken off Willow in console.

So I have gone back and made sure everything is up to date this time and when trying to start the first sex scene Willow just stands and doesn't dance nor does any sex animations fire. Is there a specific load order that is needed beyond the usual sexoutwillow after the Willow.esm?

Tried that just now and while did do some interesting things to my load order it hasn't solved the lack of animations. When I get the chance and when I fix my console so I can read the thing I'll poke around with the debugger and see what pops up.

 

I don't think its anything wrong with SCR or sexout itself as so far all other animations have worked just fine.

 

EDIT 1: Turned on the debugger and played through the first dance/sex scene and the only debug message relating to sexout is something along the lines of "StartCounter at 60 seconds".

 

Now I used SexoutSex right afterwards to see what the console would produce and it when through found and undressed both characters played the right animation and otherwise worked exactly has intended. I'll uninstall sexout willow and see if the original dance then fade to black sequence works.

 

Any help or suggestions would be greatly helpful

 

Edit 2: Ok so on a whim I used the [Rel][sCR]SexoutWillowV3 file instead of the SexoutWillowV4.3 and everything started working just fine. Checking back on the instructions nothing is said about this file so I'm not sure if its a older stable version or what.

I'm planning on trying this, and the only version of Willow that's available, now, is 1.08.  What's the item code for that strapon, in case I need to remove it from Willow in my game..?

 

p.s.: What is the purpose of the second file in the d/l section?  Is it a patch?  Is it necessary for everyone?

Not sure about the itemcode off the top of my head, but you get it if you go into the console, click you or Willow and type in "inv" without quotation marks, if the strapon doesn't unequip. It shows all items in the inventory with ref ids for them. 

 

The V3 download is for the version of the Willow mod that was up for the longest time. You only need the latest version.

When this Beta version of Sexout eventually becomes the stable version, do you intend to keep the mod the same?

 

My games get fubar when the wind blows the wrong way-- it's a gift.  So, I avoid experimental versions of anything.  I'd like to use this mod, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to do so when the current Beta version of Sexlab makes it to main release stage. 

 

Even if a new Beta comes out, with more features that you'd like to incorporate into this mod, I hope that you'll keep the current version around for those of us who aren't comfortable running all of our mods on a Beta core.

All modders already do that. It's called "don't download the new version".

Its also called "Always download to desktop first then create a file folder with a proper ID including date (IE FNVSxy YYMMDD or SKYRMSxyv YYMMDD for the name and then with notepad note make a note with a breif description of the mods your moving or copying into  in the folder every time you download a new set of files for moding your game.  aka Dont Be Lazy and just shove things into your game at random.

 

 

Seriously I have a "FNVMDTRY" folder that has a List of the "manditory mods" (your list will vary) I use which has  a list explaining where I got them so I can always check for updates. and Ironicaly doing it manualy has proved to be so mutch more reliable than trusting Nexus to do it for me because often they miss abanoned mods that have been picked up by others or update me on mods that I frankly dont give a crap about and dont want in my game thank you very mutch.

In all fairness I would love if putting in mods was as straight forward as just drop a file here, push a button so that your mods are checked for updates and everything gets properly sorted and auto puts everything in the leveld lists for loot and merchats, then  boom goes the dynamite and you can roll into the game. but unfortunatly we dont live in that world yet.
