SexLab Animation Loader SSE

Make sure you have the latest version of JContainers for SE (not LE) from here or here and that nothing is overwriting it. If you're using Vortex or MO 2, make sure it has a higher priority than anything that might overwrite it; if you're using NMM or manual install, re-install the mod and let it overwrite anything it asks to. If that doesn't work, re-install SLAL SE and then JContainers, allowing Windows to overwrite any files when prompted. Also make sure you're downloading animation packs for SE and not LE because the latter will not work in SE. I have a relative potato of a computer (i5-4690k), but I'm not having the MCM menu problems, so I can only guess as to what the problem is.

I've done all that and then some, even tried bundling all the animations together into one file and even loading them without other mods enabled and outside of mo2. Still get an empty MCM menu.

Probably a stupid question, but did you run FNIS before you started the game?

I think a quick way to tell if your animation packs are setup properly is to run GenerateFNISforModders.exe, which should be located in your data (or mods if you're using MO 2)\Fores New Idles in Skyrim SE - FNIS SE\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Modders. You'll want to look for a .hkx file that starts with FNIS_ and ends with _behavior (e.g., I have a file called FNIS_DayelyteWerewolfAnimationPack_Behavior.hkx for Daylelyte's female werewolf animations). If you get any errors processing that file, then there's a good chance you either have an animation pack for LE, which will need to be converted to SE, or the animation pack wasn't setup properly.

I know it's a pita to diagnose software issues, but I'm not the author so I can only provided limited support. As I said before, I'm guessing most of the problems are likely from a bad install of the animation package, a wrong version of the package (LE and not SE), a bad install of SLAL or something's overwriting it, or a bad install of JContainers. I would check to make sure you have the proper version of whatever animation pack you're trying to load; if it hasn't been converted, there's a simple tool that can convert the animations, but you'll need to re-create the hkx file I mentioned above, then run the modders tool, and then run FNIS for users. If the animation packs are the right version (SE and not LE), then re-install everything starting with JContainers, then SLAL, then your animation pack(s). Remember to not let anything overwrite JContainer's files, or you'll be right back where you started. I can convert packs if they're still only available in LE format, but I have slow Internet and I have to get the author's permission before I can upload them here, so don't expect a quick turn-around. I'll need a link to any LE packs that haven't been converted yet. Good luck and I hope you guys can fix your issue(s).

I'm having the same issue with the MCM not having a tab for SLAL SE.

I'm using...

SexLab Framework v1.63(beta)

JContainers SE v4.1.9

and I'm certain that I'm using FNIS correctly.

Is there something I missed?

I decided to use the JContainers version from the Nexus instead of the one from GitHub. That seems to have done the trick. Probably a PICNIC moment... (Problem in Chair, Not In Computer.)

Thanks for the advice!

of course i did lol. FNIS registered everything, it's just SLAL will not show anything in mcm, just a blank screen with no options or menus. will try the nexus jcontainers tomorrow when i've got time to mess around.

I could fix my mcm issue by making sure, that nothing is overriding SLAL in the modorganizer. It got overriden by some animation packs. Now the mcm loads.

No worries. It appears the version on GitHub isn't working properly, which is why I mentioned the one on the Nexus.

I know it may be a silly question, but I have to ask. Did you wait long enough for it to show up? It's easy to get impatient and want to get right into play, but when you add mods to your game, MCM can be really slow in registering them. Like...several minutes slow.

I suppose it's possible. I thought I waited for about 3-5 minutes, but maybe I was less patient than that.

For anyone having extremely slow MCM menu loading and animation registration for this mod and slavetats, disable vsync, disable FPS limit in your enb, install HavocFix for SSE from Nexus, uncap FPS, disable vsync in its ini setting and if you see over several hundreds of FPS when you open MCM menu that means you get super fast MCM, faster than Oldrim and no it does not mess with physics or SMP.

Hi, I have been having the same issue were the SLAL menu wasnt showing up in the mcm menu. I was finally able to get it fixed today, after weeks of trying. So what I did was install the newest version of JC containers from github, I believe its 4.1.10, after that I just installed/updated my skse by following all of the steps in the "read me" folder. Afterwards, I loaded into skyrim and was able to go into the MCM menu and after about 10 seconds my options finally loaded in! Now I will say that I had been trying a couple of other fixes that were posted on this thread but nothing worked. Hopefully this can resolve the problem for people who have tried a few things with no luck.

Even with SLAL disabled, JContainers is still giving me CTD. I can run 4.1.8 version of JContainers but SLAL doesn't show the animations.. it just gives the general options menu. I've tried every version of JContainers that I can find and none of them work in combination with SLAL.

I'm using MO2 if that matters. Any advice?

I cant seem to load any of the ZAZ animations, anybody know why that is?

When I open the mcm for this, there are no options. Is this common?

Mine is not working either. Can't quite figure it out. Try'd reinstalling both it and JContainer. Not sure what else to try.

Turns out I just needed to wait.

How long did you wait? I waited 9 minutes and got nothing so far...

EDIT: Works now. Had to wait.
